Upon entering the cells, Chance can hear voices so he follows them and listens to what is being said.
"So, The Luna Queen could not keep her mate satisfied and he came to us." Said the first voice.
"A virgin Queen." laughing. A second
"Maybe we should give her lessons." More snickering from several of the girls.
Chance steps into view. "Chase, are they letting us out now? Why does everyone care that we had s*x?"
"You will address me as Alpha King Diamond," All the heads bowed at his commanding tone, realizing the identity of Chance.
"We could take care of your needs, Alpha." A grin across her face.
"Everyone one of you knew he was just married to the Luna Queen and you still chose to have s*x with him. That is a crime against the crown. When I entered I heard your snarky comments about your Queen. Rest assured, her mate is completely satisfied. You have been judged and today your punishment will be implemented.
I as Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack and King of all Alpha's do hereby banish you from all pack grounds, henceforth, you will be rogue. You may attempt to join a different pack but you will never set eyes upon your Queen again, if any words are spoken against her, you will pay with your life. You may accept this decision or you will be put to death. Guards remove these rogues from my lands."
They fell to their knees as the pack links severed. Katie felt them leave the pack-link. She wished that she felt more about the loss but she honestly did not. Members like those were not needed.
Katie looked to Chase, "I never asked you, are you ok with those women being removed from the pack?"
Chase looks at Katie, "Yes, I did not mean to hurt you. I was not thinking clearly but you were right, they had another agenda. I think you did the right thing. Why didn't you remove me?"
"Chance told me how much you wanted the two of you to share a mate so that you could stay together. I don't want to be the reason that you two are not happy and in the same pack."
"I should have marked you," Chase says looking at her longingly. "You are everything we wanted."
"Thank you for allowing us to be happy, we both know it would have been forced between you and me."
He nods and continues to look at Katie. "He had the prophecy wrong you know."
"What do you mean?"
"He said, Another will come along. That is not right. I am trying to remember all the words Grandma used to tell us. It was a small quip at the end. Most people forget the last part. When she comes along, another . . . another. . ."
Katie watches him while he is remembering.
"Another special trait." then he looks at Katie. "So you are something else."
Laughing, "Nope, I am just me."
"Since I am their GodFather, I want to stick around and help with them while you go to college."
Katie looks at him surprised. "Really?"
"Yeah, I owe you and I would feel better if someone stays close to Kylie."
"Chase, if you do anything to hurt my pups or take one . . "
Chase quickly cuts her off, "I would never do that, I swear."
Katie nods, "I would appreciate the help."
"Help with what?" Chance says as he enters the room.
"Chase is going to stay and help with the pups while I am in school."
Chance raises an eyebrow at Chase, "Really?"
"I promise, no ulterior motives. I am their GodFather, I want to protect them. I have no one, this can keep me focused. Besides, Kylie has so much power coming from her. I don't want someone trying to take her."
"If something happens to my pups because of you,"
"You would kill me, dear brother, I know."
"Ok then, you can stay." Chance says to Chase.
"If you two ever need a third, call me." He says with a cheeky grin. Katie turned red, Chance punches him.
"I deserved that."
