28 Hospital

Chance was so upset about Alpha Jose's visit he could not stay away from Katie any longer. He quietly entered the room and got onto the bed with her.

"Thank God you came back,  I couldn't sleep without you. She murmured into his chest. They both finally fell asleep.  They stayed in each other's embrace until they were awakened by a hungry pup. But as one got hungry, they soon were all hungry. Chance rushed around rotating the pups onto Katie. Finally, they were all fed and Katie asked if Chance could go check on Hannah and Ariel.  Seeing his confusion, she explained they both had been brought in because their water broke. 

Laughing Chance got up and headed for the door. Katie gave him a confused look and he promised to explain when he returned.

Chance knocked and heard Alex tell him to come in.

"Katie wanted me to check on you,"  He said as he opened the door.  Chance was surprised to see all four in the room.  Ariel and Hannah were in beds across from each other, Lucas and Alex going back and forth.  

"I guess you took my suggestion?"  He said laughing.

"You knew their water would break didn't you?" Alex says in an accusing tone.

"Yup," he said popping the p.  "They were finally satisfied weren't they?"  

"Completely" came Ariel's voice, a huge grin on her face.

"It was amazing." moaned Hannah.

Chance started laughing harder, "Told you"  

Alex and Lucas just nod.

"The babies will be born any time" Ariel moans.  "I need to push."

A loud moan comes from Hannah, "Get the doctor"

"And that is my cue to leave,"  Chance says "I will send the doctor."

Chance heads down the hall and finds Katie's mom.  "They are both yelling for you."  

She quickly goes down the hall and disappears into the room Chance just came from.  He goes and grabs some food for Katie and returns to her room grinning.

"Spill"

"Well, they are all doing well.  Going to be pushing soon."

"That is not why you are grinning from ear to ear, spill"

Laughing, "So I was tired and Lucas and Alex were whining about how Hannah and Ariel were horny and they couldn't satisfy them."  he pauses looking at Katie, she nods waiting.  "I told them to have a foursome and they did."

Katie's jaw dropped and her eyes got as big as saucers.  "You told them what?"  

"I told the girls to get each other off and I told the boys to double penetrate them.  Broke their water."  still laughing.  "I never thought they would actually do it.  I just figured they would stop telling me their personal business.  By the way, we need to have the spare room professionally cleaned."

"Tell me you didn't record them."

"What do you take me for, I didn't expect them to do it and I made a stupid comment about not in my living room, use the spare room.  I just left them in the living room."

Giggling, "I can not believe that quiet shy Alex did that.  I completely see Lucas and Hannah doing it, but not Ariel."

Meanwhile, down the hall. . . .

Lucas and Alex kept trying to help both women as the pups started to arrive.  Ariel had been told she was having more pups late in her pregnancy.  She delivered two girls and two boys.

Hannah delivered two boys and a girl.  Everyone felt relieved when the screaming and pushing finally stopped.  Alex and Lucas had the biggest grins on their faces holding onto their pups.

Stephanie soon informed Katie and Chance of the deliveries.  Katie talked them into letting her go see them, under the condition she stays in a wheelchair.   Alex quickly opens the door hearing them coming.

"Katie, you didn't have to come down here.  We could have brought the pups to see you."  Alex says bowing, he knows her condition was life-threatening.  

"I am doing fine now, no need,"  Katie assures him.  Giggling, "Congratulations looks like we all had 7 pups."

Alex looks at her confused for a minute, realization takes over his face, and he looks at Lucas, then Hannah, and finally Ariel.  "Oh, s**t!"

Chance starts to laugh as Hannah and Ariel's eyes go wide in understanding.  Ariel stares at Lucas and Hannah does the same to Alex.

"Hope you all enjoyed yourselves, plenty more nights like that ahead."  Chance continues to laugh.  "What are you naming the pups?"

Hannah and Lucas go first.  They had a boy, a boy, (twins) and a girl.  The names are Dominic, Sebastian, and Alexa.  Ariel and Alex had a girl, a girl, (twins) a boy and a boy (twins).  The names are Rosie, Anna, Luca, and Alexander.

They visited for a while, Stephanie and Jack were watching the pups but Chance could see that Katie was worn out.  He insisted on taking her back to the room.  Alex insisted on helping, once they were out of the room he looked at Chance.  

"Explain all the rules." 

Laughing again, "You made it with a pregnant she-wolf, they are now your pups also.  Same for Lucas.  You both basically have 2 mates now."

"So, if I were to have s*x with either girl, alone, it is not cheating right?"

"Lucas won't care if you sleep with Ariel."  Chance says still laughing.  Then he raises an eyebrow and looks closer at Alex.  "You want to have s*x with just Hannah?  Wow, didn't see that one coming."  Thinks for a minute.  "Yeah, you can do that now.  But, so can Lucas and Ariel."  Alex nods.  Once he helps Chance put Katie back into the bed he leaves.

"Chance we have to talk,"  Katie tells him.

Chance looks at her, "I know what you are worried about, it is not the same."  She looks at him confused.  "He lied, committed a crime, and the ceremony was annulled.  He is not a father to our pups."

"We still have to deal with the 8 she-wolves and he is still in the cells."  She says looking at him.

"I know, he is my brother but I want to kill him.  Ever since we were young he envisioned us sharing a mate.  He said we would rule the pack together and sharing a Luna made that possible.  We could never leave each other.  When my mate died, he felt it also.  She had to be both of our mates.  He could not handle the loss, he slept with every she-wolf that crossed his path.  Somehow his desire to share a mate, got blurred.   I have not gone down there because I don't think I can control myself."

"I don't want you to kill him,"  Katie simply states.

Chance arches his eyebrow at her, waiting for her to continue.

"I would like to talk to him.  We both need to do that."  Chance nods.  "Have the guards bring him here.  I want to end this."

Chance begins to argue but Katie raises her hand.  "I can go around you and order the guards to bring him to me.  I am asking you to just take care of it and bring him here.  I always do whatever you ask, I am asking this of you."  He nods and mind-links someone.

"He will be here shortly."  He says

"You need to remain in control,"  Katie says looking at him.

A short time later. . . 

Katie had the pups taken to the nursery so they would not be in the room when Chase arrives.  A knock comes on the door and Tom enters with several of the other guards around Chase.

"You may wait in the hall."  He says to the guards and only Tom remains.

Chase laughs, "Why am I here?"

Katie looks at him, "Why did you lie to me?"

He looks at her wistfully.  He does not say anything for a few minutes.  "I wanted you to be our mate.  I really thought you were at first.  After the ceremony, I was going to mark you.  I stopped myself when I realized that you were not my mate and only his.  I could not hurt you both that way.  I couldn't wrap my head around everything and then Christine told me that she knew Katie was not my mate.  I thought I could drown my pain in those 8 whores.  I was wrong.  I need a mate, I wish Katie was my mate."

Chance speaks next, "I believed you, I want to kill you for touching my mate.  I know your pain losing our mate but what you did will always haunt me.  I hurt my mate.  I told her to trust you.  She did everything we asked and then you went off with 8 she-wolves, you should have been honest as soon as you figured it out.  You used her body and then disrespected her, allowing all those females to believe the Luna Queens mate chose them over her.  You will fix that."

Chase nods in agreement with Chance.

Katie looks between the two.  "Chance, we need to move on.  He believed that we were mates.  I believe him about that, his pain clouded his judgment.  He did nothing perverse or harmful, let him go.  The intent to harm us was not there."

Chance and Chase look at Katie surprised.  

"What about the females?" Chance asks.

"They are not blameless, they were at the ceremony.  They intended to harm our bond.  I want them removed from this pack.  No one needs members like that."  He nods in agreement.

"Can I see your pups?"  He asks looking between Katie and Chance.  "They are my nieces and nephews."

Katie nods

Chance then tells Tom, "Please send the guards back to the cells.  I will be done shortly to sever the pack bond and exile them."  

Katie looks at Chance, he kisses her after bringing in the pups.  He begins rotating the pups so she can nurse them all.  Chase is amazed to watch the two taking care of all the pups.  Chance keeps trading the babies that Chase is holding.  

Once all the pups are fed, Chance whispers to Katie, "Will you be ok with him here?"  

Katie nods, "Go take care of the cells, we will be waiting here."

"Wow you two have this all figured out, You were meant to be parents,"  Chase says amazed once Chance leaves the room.

Katie looks at him and smiles, "Thanks"

"You know, you were the best s*x I have ever had,"  Chase says looking at her.  "I actually know the difference between making love and f*cking now.  You did everything deliberately, not rushed.  You felt pleasure and gave pleasure, the touching.  I will never have that again.  

"I have only done anything with Chance and you.  I don't know what you call what happened with Christine but no one else."  Katie said red-faced.

If anything ever happens to him, I will take care of you and your pups.  I am their father too you know."

"Nothing will happen to him.  I know but you will never say that you are their father to him, it will hurt him that he allowed that to happen.  It is not all your fault, I should have realized sooner.  I don't regret being with you, you took care of me during and after.  That is what every girl deserves.  It won't happen again."  No reason to make him feel any worse.

Chase got up and leaned into Katie, he brushed back her hair from her face and leaned forward.  

Katie's breath hitched and her eyes went wide, what was he doing?

Chase gently brushed his lips against her forehead, "I am so sorry that I violated you and your trust. I will make it up to you one day."  Then he returned to his seat picking up Kylie.  "She is special you know."

Katie looked at him surprised.  "What?"

"Those two are the next Alpha's, but she is different, you can feel her power, right?"  A big smile on his face.  "My girl is very special." He whispered to her.

"Chase, how does GodFather sound?"

"Perfect" He grinned ear to ear.  "Thank You."
