49 CAPTIVE

As he is about to leave the room, Katie tells him "David, please get me real clothes.  No Luna dresses like this in front of her pack.  These make me look like a w***e.  I am no one's whore."

"Of course Luna."  He says bowing and leaves the room.

 Shortly after Katie can hear voices.  She is using her wolf hearing but still can barely understand what is being said.

David's POV

"But Alpha, she has been nursing 13 pups.  She has to nurse, she is in pain.  Her body is producing for her pups.  With her being so upset and craving them she is producing more than normal.  She needs to nurse."

"She is not leaving, bring her the orphan pups.  She can nurse them.  They are far too small."

"Just because you killed their mothers, they are not orphans.  They are still your pups Alpha."

"Watch how you speak to me.  What the hell do you think you are doing?"

"You commanded me to follow my Luna, I am to do everything she asks except help her escape or tell her how to escape, Correct?"

"You know I did."

"She asks for clothes, you made her feel like a whore."

"She is my whore."

"Alpha, she said she is no one's whore."

Grinning ear to ear, "That sounds like my Katie."

Exiting the room, David soon returns to Katie.  "I am sorry Luna, Alpha would not agree to let you return to your pups.  I honestly tried, he said looking down."

"Why do you have pups with you?  Why are they so small?"

"Alpha said you could nurse these pups, their mothers are dead,"  he said handing her two very small and underweight pups.

Seeing the small fragile pups, small tears fell down her beautiful cheeks.  "How did their mothers die?"  she asked 

David tensed looking into her eyes.  After a few minutes with no sounds in the room, he finally whispered, "Alpha killed them because they were not you."  Katie's body turned cold, David laid some clothes on the bed.  "Alpha wasn't going to let me bring you the clothes until I told him what you said.  If you need me, push this button.  I am wearing the receiver here, I will come no matter what happens.  I would have already let you go but I am under Alpha command, I am too weak to break it.  I will sacrifice my life for you.  Please be careful Luna."

With that, David left the room.  Katie picked up the pups and began nursing them.  The poor babies we so undernourished.  Stroking their cheeks, tears continued down her face.  Did this Alpha really kill their mother's because of her?  Both pups fell asleep eating, she carefully tucked them into the bed and arranged pillows so they could not roll off the bed.  She went into the attached bathroom and took a shower.  After she put the clothes David brought on her body and exited the small room.  Hearing a knock on the door she instructed the person to enter.  David smiled seeing the sleeping pups.

"Did they help?"  he asked her genuinely interested.

"I nursed them both, it is not enough though.  I am still full."

David started to head for the pups.  

"What are you doing?"

"Taking the pups"

"No, they are staying with me."

Stopping his actions, he looked at Katie.  "You want to keep them?"

"Yes, their mother's died because of me.  I will be their mother.  Bring me a crib for them."

"Of course"  He quickly exited the room.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?"

"To find a crib for the Luna"

"Why would she need a crib?"

"Alpha, she is keeping the pups."

"No, she is not."  He said sounding angry.

"Alpha, she said that their mother's died because of her, she is now their mother.  You said to bring her those pups, I am not taking them away from her.  She needs to nurse more, they are not eating enough for her supply."

"Maybe I should help her with that."  He said licking his lips.

"She is no one's w***e, Alpha.  Remember that."

"Do I need to put you in your place, David?" 

"I would die for her, remember that Alpha."

David returns to the room with his wife Dana in tow.  They brought everything you would need to care for young pups.  A beautiful crib is set up and items arranged to make caring for the young pups easier for Katie.  Dana also brought Katie more clothes.

"Thank you both,"  Katie said seeing what they had brought.  

Dana sat down on the bed with Katie.  "I am so sorry that he took you.  He is obsessed with you."

"I don't know what to do without my pups,"  Katie started to cry.

"We are trying to break the Alpha command, we just don't know how to."  She said feeling so guilty.  David and Dana spend the rest of the day with Katie and she starts to feel much less panic, but the longing for her pups increases.  David brings her a breast pump and bottles to help her with the productions that is out of control.

Alpha's POV

Well past midnight she finally falls asleep.  A short time later I enter the room and sit on the bed next to her, "Please don't take my clothes off in front of all these wolves, please.  Tears streaming down her face.  "Please don't, all these men will see me.  Please don't do that to me." Tears continue to run down her face.  She kept repeating, "Please don't let all these men see me naked."  Katie is in a full-blown panic attack, images of Alpha Colt and her previous kidnapping come to her mind.  

I am in shock watching her and listening to her words.  Someone raped her in front of others.  How did I not know this happened to her?  Running my hands down my face  Well s**t, she already doesn't trust me and now I have to worry about reminding her of this too.  Holding her in my arms, I keep whispering that everything will be all right and that she is safe.  She continues to cry and fight me for about two hours and finally stops thrashing and crying.  I fall asleep holding her, my wolf is finally content.  

My wolf was so angry that I had f*cked those she-wolves and even angrier when they told me they were pregnant.  How was I to know that one threesome would end the way it did.  Both whores got pregnant but could not handle the births.  My Beta David always tells me that I killed them because they were not Katie.  I tried to take care of them when I found out they were to have my pups, how could I know it would end that way?

In her sleep, Princess took over Katie's body.  Waking up she nudged the body sleeping next to her.  "Prince, we need to talk."

Prince overtook the sleeping Alpha.  "I have missed you so much, Princess."

"Katie needs to be with her pups, she can not handle the separation."

"Please tell me you have missed me.  You are all that I think about."

"Of course I missed you but Knight is my mate."

"I know you have been with King."  He retorted sounding frustrated.

"We were drugged, that mating was not supposed to happen."

"How?"

"False heat.  What does he want with us?"

"He plans to mate with her."

"She won't be able to handle it.  He will kill a piece of her that she will never get back."

"Then you should take over and let him mate with you."

"I would kill him first."

"Then mate with me now."

"NO, if I was ever going to mate with you, it would not be like this,"  she said shaking her head.

"Who attacked her?"

"Her natural mate, Alpha Colt."

"That is who she was screaming about earlier?"

"Yes"

"I will kill him,"  Prince said angrily

"Knight already did.  Why does he want to mate with Katie?"

"He thinks she is the breeder, he wants a litter with her."

"She had problems during the last delivery.  Her uterus was removed."  Princess tells Prince.  "He can confirm this with the hospital or her Uncle Max.  He removed it to stop the bleeding, she lost so much blood she was in a coma for 4 weeks.  It should be easy to confirm."

"Really?"  Prince asked eyebrows furrowed.

"Check with the hospital."

Prince leaned down and kissed Princess's forehead.  "I still love you, no one but you."

"You have two pups, obviously two someone else's."

"No, my human had one weak moment.  Two whores bore those babies and died during the delivery.  Whores can not handle Alpha births.  It has only ever been you.  My piece of s**t human has only ever loved your human.  I swear I am telling the truth."

The Alpha wakes up a few hours later, Katie still in his arms.  He doesn't know why her wolf will relax in his arms but she will not.  Kissing her forehead, he leaves the room.  Katie wakes up a short time later looking around.  She remembers Princess and Prince talking, why would he take her?  How could he be in love with her?  She was only a bet for him.  Feeling completely confused she walks over to the cribs and picks up the pups.  Returning to the bed she begins to nurse them.  They seem very eager to eat and she is glad because she is very full.  David took the bottles she had filled and gave them to other pups in the pack that did not have a mother to feed them.  They had lost many members in the recent attacks and unfortunately, this left a lot of orphans.

Life continued on like this for Katie for the next week.  After she would fall asleep, the Alpha would enter her room and their wolves would spend the night talking or cuddling to sleep.  Princess would not allow anything other than conversation and a kiss on the forehead.  Prince did not try and cross the lines she set.  She saw him as a friend and nothing more.

After a week had passed, Katie crying every day for her pups, the Alpha came to speak with her during the light of day.

Looking into his face, the tears ran down her cheeks.  "How could you take me from my pups?  They are my life."

"I thought we could have a litter of our own and that you would forget."

"I could never forget my pups!"

"I know, I realize that now.  Princess told Prince what happened at the hospital.  I am sorry, I did not know.  If I had known, I would have brought your pups with you."

"What are you talking about?"

"I believed you were the breeder, I wanted a litter with you.  The most powerful pups.  I did not know they removed your uterus.  I confirmed with the hospital that Princess was telling the truth.  If I had known, I would have brought your pups.  I will get them for you."  He said bowing his head.  

Stalking towards Katie slowly, she started shaking.  "Please don't hurt me,"  she said backing up.  Soon his hands were on her, triggering something deep inside her, she started freaking out again, just like she would every night in her sleep.  "Please don't, all these men will see me.  Please don't do that to me." Tears are running down her face, repeating, "Please don't let all these men see me naked.  Please don't rape me.  Please"

He froze.  "Shhh, I would never do that.  Please stop screaming, I promise I would never do that to you."  Stroking her hair.  She was shaking out of control.  "I love you too much to hurt you like that.  Shhh, I promise I would never let other men look at you.  Shhh"  Finally the tears stopped and she stared into his eyes.

"You, you never loved me,"  she said shaking her head.

"I really did, that is why everything was so hard."
