Chapter 26 Scout stepped onto the train and began to help Geeta and Emilie move the dead bodies out of the car before the doors closed. The smell of blood was still so thick in the air it clung to the back of Scout’s throat like she was sucking on a piece of metal. They all remained standing, even Liam, although he clung to a support pole as the train picked up speed beneath them, jostling its passengers sporadically.
