"Red had persuaded me to go to this piece of junk university, and this is the scene that greeted me?"
Pissed.
The woman in black who's back behind me squatted in front of Jack and grabbed his collar.
I could see Jack's face pale, and he mumbled something from his shivering lips. This was the first time I saw him trembling in fear.
"I apologize, Alpha. I will not do it again," Jack pleaded.
"Do you realize bullying someone weaker than you won't make you strong, Jack, and without my rotten father's last name, you are nothing? You are a piece of trash. If you do this again, I'll toss you to the den of feral rogue wolves and watch you being eaten alive. Do you understand?" she warned him calmly, but I could feel hatred.
Jack nodded desperately.
"Good," Aeris said, fixing his creased collar. "Now, go to your class and make use of your head."
Jack picked up his bag and ran to wherever his class was.
"Savage," another powerful voice booms into the hallway.
That powerful voice came from Alpha Gemini walking towards us.
Alpha Aeris tilted her head, sniffing the scent of Alpha Gemini before turning around and welcoming her with a big smile.
I was speechless when I finally saw Alpha Aeris.
A girl would be too simple of a word to describe her. Her heart-shaped face set in a scowl. Her sharp straight nose accents her full pink lips, shaped like a cupid's bow with such perfection, giving her an otherworldly look. She was beautiful, no doubt about it. But her eyes are cobalt blue eyes, full of maliciousness, danger, and creepiness, and her slit left eyebrow otherwise says this woman wasn't just a woman.
The scowl on her face vanished, and her face became playful when she looked at Alpha Gemini.
"Oh, if it isn't the barbie doll," she smirked, walking towards Alpha Gemini.
"For the love of Goddess, quit calling me that," Gemini groaned and rolled her eyes. "Anyway, the first day of school, and here you are creating a ruckus," she added, offering her hand to Aeris.
Aeris took it, and they shook hands like they were friends.
"I had to put the brat in his place. I can't tolerate bullying," Aeris replied, and her eyes wandered before falling to me.
She smiled and walked towards me.
"Are you okay?" Aeris asked.
"I…I'm fine A-Alpha. T-thank you," I replied nervously.
"Bring him to the pack doctor. And tell him I need a report about this one. He's malnourished," she said, her minty breath fanning my face before touching my face and titling my chin to access my face. She gave me a chilling smirk. A kind of smirk that a predator gives when they find prey. "Report back to me when I'm home," Aeris commanded Mica, which she immediately answered.
"Yes, Alpha," Mica answered, pulling me toward her car.
I was left trembling, and chills ran down my spine. Why was she giving me a smirk like that?
"Be careful around our new Alpha, Kaeya," Isaiah said after sitting beside Mica.
I gulped.
"What do you mean?"
"Alpha Aeris is dangerous. She was the leader of the rogues in Tempest before she dissolved it and surrendered her people to the Welfare to give them a new life. Her rogues had killed many alphas and taken charge of their packs. It was because of Alpha Red that she came here and was forced to take what she was born for," Isaiah answered.
"She was scheduled to return for two weeks, but last night she arrived pissed. She spent hours arguing with the old Alpha pairs, destroying everything inside that room. She might look innocent, but she's far from innocent," Mica added.
"I'm telling you this because she set her eyes on you. If the rumors were true about her love to torture, then you are her prey."
My nervousness intensified. What did I do this time?
After making sure that my wounds healed, the pack doctor, I looked around and noticed that nobody was around. I closed the door and started to walk away. I silently pray to the goddess that I can make it out safely without bumping into Jack. I knew he was pissed, and his anger towards me intensified, seeing he was humiliated by Alpha Aeris.
I was looking down while walking and went to a complete stop when I saw a pair of black boots in front of me.
"You know, walking without looking your way is dangerous. You could've bumped into me. Do you purposely do that to catch my attention?" a cold yet amused voice spoke.
Alpha Aeris.
I slowly looked at the boots' owner and said something without being careful with my words. But something in her words irked me. Catch her attention?
"T-the key word here is could've, Alpha," I replied, too late to realize what I said. Fear crept into me, and I could stop trembling.
"Hmmm," she hummed, which made me look into her eyes, which was disrespectful. Her cobalt eyes looked at me intensely as if she were studying me.
I'm five feet, and seven inches, too short for a male werewolf, but Aeris is probably around six because she was towering over me. Female alphas are built to be different from normal females.
"Feisty," she said; the amusement in her eyes didn't vanish. "It is the first time an omega male spoke to me like that. What is your name? And how old are you?"
"K-Kaeya, A-Alpha. I-I'm t-twenty y-years old," I stuttered.
"Mateless?" she asked me.
I nodded at her.
She tilted my chin again and looked at my face closely. Again, her minty breath fanning my face as she sniffed around me made my nervousness to the highest level, and I felt like I was about to pee on my jeans.
"Relax, I won't do anything bad to you, little puppy," she said, smirking.
Her smirk didn't convince me. She is up to something.
Aeris' other hand rested on my left shoulder, which made me freeze. She slowly trailed her hands downwards into my boney arm until her hand touched my hand. I forget I held my breath if she didn't gently pinch it. She then took my report papers and smirked before leaving me breathless.
