I was talking to Trinity and Jaden when I felt a disturbance coming from Chris’ room. I shoot up from my perch and run to his room.

“Chris! Where are you?”

Silence answers me. I turn and run into Jaden.

“Chris is gone, but he didn't leave by himself.”

“I'll find him, Kie. I promise.”

“Who would have taken him? Why?”

“I don’t know, Kie. I really don’t. I have a suspension that it was the Meister but without evidence, I don’t want to run and accuse him of kidnapping and torture…not that it would do anything but get me into trouble too.”

“When please be careful. When you look for him. I don’t want either of you hurt.”

“Ok. Watch your back too, Kie.”
