The Alpha King's Queen

- Chapter 8 -

CHAPTER 8

-When I’m with you there’s no place I’d rather be-

It’s nearly dawn when we arrived. The weather was still chilly when I got out of the car. I thought nothing was really special about the place when I saw his castle. It is indeed huge and beautiful. The moon is still up above us and serves as the only source of light. Gabriel must’ve noticed that I’m cold and so he pulled me closer to him and held my hand. When he kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes I noticed something beautiful

“Gabriel, what is the sound just now?” I asked and he kissed my ear before answering,

“Waves.” He whispered and I blushed.

That sound just now is the sea? I like it.

Two unfamiliar men waited outside the gate and bowed their heads when they saw us. Both of them got gleaming yellow eyes, wolves. They are wearing the same shirt and jeans I have. That kind of disappoints me. I thought our twinning shirts were something special like a couple shirt or something. But it was something like a uniform here.

“Alpha.” They both bowed their heads.

“Report.” Gabriel said and the two stranger nodded their heads.

“One surprise attack at the village, it seems like they are attempting to gather as many people as they can. They offered money and that is unusual. It looks like someone is financing them.” One of them said.

“They’ve been silent since then. We are waiting for your go signal for our hunters to start investigating.”

“I will deal with that later. I want you to meet your Luna, Allyah.” Gabriel said and they both looked shocked.

“Alpha you..” before one of them finished their sentence Gabriel grunted.

They both bowed their heads. “Pardon for our rudeness, we are delighted to finally meet you Luna.” They said in unison. I giggled and thanked them for the welcome.

“Raymond is one of my pack and Ace will be your guard when I’m gone.” He said and I nod. “Both of you carry the bags inside and ask Melisa to bring it to our room this instant.” Gabriel said.

Ace and Raymond Immediately did what they were told as we got inside. There is a large main door and it looked really heavy and yet with one hand Gabriel pushed it open. I gasped when I saw the interior design.  The inside patterns are great and symmetric. The walls are decorated mostly with pebbles and shells that looked really cool. These decorations must be from the ocean itself. The hall is wide and very spacious. Well ventilated rooms with amazing chandeliers. Every corner is bright and very accommodating.

Gabriel held my hand and we walked upstairs, the left one. If Gabriel is not with me it will be very difficult to search the room out of all these doors that seemed endless. My feet started to feel woozy for walking upstairs. When Gabriel noticed he carried me and dashed to find the room. I just closed my eyes until Gabriel stopped moving and slowly twisted the door open.

"Open your eyes Princess, this will serve as our room." Gabriel said and I was shocked. The ocean view is very clear up here and it makes me jump off of Gabriel’s embrace. As I take the first step a gust of cold wind splashes through my face.

I examined the room with awe and Gabriel smiled at me.

"You sleep here?" I asked without removing my attention to the great view.

"Yeah.. a couple of times." He said and sat on the edge of the bed that looked really fluffy.

“I can tell.” I told him. I mean who would never sleep here?

"This is amazing! I don't know there's such a place like this." I said excitedly as I held tightly on the window. The ocean view makes my heart melt. The sun is rising soon and I want to watch it. I am so excited.

"Change your clothes and trust me I'll show you something more amazing than that." He said and I nod. "That is your wardrobe and the other one is mine. You can pick whatever you want there. I'll just check out for our bags. I'll be back, don't leave this room" He said and shut the door.

I sighed, so bossy.

I tried to pick something nice from the wardrobe and I saw some unfamiliar style of clothes inside. There’s a fluffy sweater and short and I think both of them will match. I want to try them on and see if they will fit my taste. When I looked in the mirror I was satisfied. They look really great and definitely worth trying. I wonder what’ll be Gabriel’s reaction. As for my father, he might shut me inside my room for a whole week or so.

Gabriel sure is taking his time. I went inside the bathroom looking for a comb and what I saw was a bunch of products for women. Most of them are sealed and never used. I appreciate the thought Gabriel.  When I heard Gabriel calling for me I quickly got out looking for him. I saw him carrying all the bags and he gently put it aside.

"It suits you perfectly," he complimented. I thanked him and he hugged me.

"What now?" I asked before he sniffed my neck again. The feeling is new to me, I might lose myself.

“ Let's go." He said and held my hand.

“To where?” I asked and he smiled before pulling me.

He closed the door before leaving. I thought it would be a hell of a walk again and I was right. We passed lots of stairs and doors, different sizes, shapes and color. The portraits and images are different in some ways, in my castle there are portraits of falsified King and Queens. In what I have observed, it is more on moon phases, land and flowers like tulips and that is one of my favorites. The other frames are empty, like they removed it in purpose. As much as I want to ask the reason behind it looking at Gabriel makes me want to ask about it later. He looks really excited to bring me with him. There’s a lot of things that I noticed, there are animal heads and antique wooden swords. It’s like passing by a museum. But one object took most of my attention, the moon shaped necklace. It is placed on an opaque square container and a bulb lighting it. It is displayed near a large golden door. I started to wonder what the stories behind these objects are. They look really important and mysterious.

Gabriel finally stopped in front of a typical gray door, nothing special. He stood there waiting for me to catch up with him. He slowly opened the door and a strong wind hushed and brushed my skin. I closed my eyes and felt the strong winds splash within my body, the salty breeze of the ocean. I slowly opened my eyes and a bizarre view welcomed my eyes. I can't believe there is something like this. We're at the balcony of the castle. The straight road leading to the castle island, the sea, everything up here is spectacular. I ran towards the balcony edge and looked at the view with excitement. Gabriel followed and held my waist to prevent me from falling.

"This is amazing!" I shouted to nowhere and giggled. I lift my hands in the air like I just don't care what will happen next.

Gosh, I'm so happy. I don’t want to cause too much trouble to Gabriel but this is really amazing. I hope he’s okay with my reaction. I will cherish everything, every moment with him.

"Wait for about a minute. You don't want to miss anything from here. When I was a child I thought it was magic until my Mother told me the trick." He said and smiled at me. Trick? Is there anything more beautiful than this?

"Stop twitching, you don't want to die aren't you?" he scolded me and  ignored him. Look at him taking advantage and being so close to me. He’s clinging to me and I can’t stop giggling.

"This is one of the happiest moments in my life. Thank you for being with me." His face flushed red before sniffing my neck again. Can’t he at least say something to me? Oh well..

"Watch." He said.

I watch with awe when the water slowly overcomes the main road! The strong tides in the area change quickly, slowly eating the land until there is no evidence of land that connected this castle to the road main road. It looks like we are on an isolated island. The tides continued to splash over and it took five minutes and the tides finally calmed down. The muddy road has been shown. The castle is surprisingly connected to the road again!

"What was that?!" I exclaimed.

"When the tide is high, the castle disconnects. When the tides are low the road and the rocky tidal island are connected. It connected and disconnected the mainland on a daily basis. It’s great, right?" He said and looked at the muddy road coming back to normal.

"It is!" I said and giggled.

It is indeed magic! I’ve never seen anything like this before. This place is really amazing and I can’t wait to see the mysteries here. I am curious and dedicated. I want to make the best of my life here with him. I want to try this. I want to be with him forever. I never felt like this with anyone. I just can’t help it but I’m slowly falling in love.

When I turned to look at him he quickly sealed my lips with a kiss. His soft lips begged for permission and without thinking I kissed him back. It was sweet like strawberries and soft like marshmallow. I locked my hands on his neck as he slowly pushed me closer to his body. He’s kissing me wanting more and more. I can feel his hands tracing around my waist as I felt something wet down my thighs. He groaned and kissed even deeper.

This is so much for a first kiss.
