Damian leaned closer to her then let his head fall at the side of her neck. He breathed in her scent greedily as if he would not get another chance to do so. She was slowly driving him crazy.
He could barely control himself or his wolf from getting close to her yet she just kept doing things... kept tempting him to give in to his instinct, his desire but he knew very well it was impossible for them to be together. It was a forbidden, cruel fate for him.
Every werewolf wishes to find the one they were meant to be with, the one the goddess has chosen for them and he found his five years ago but well... It just wasn't going to be possible.
He was the only one who felt the bond and no doubt she hated him and maybe she would hate him more after tonight.
....
Sitted at the edge of the bed with her head tilted to the side, Sylvia's eyes kept narrowing as she remembered the scene with Damian earlier. He completely took her offguard. He was obviously better at seduction than she was how could she even think that she could use that to get him?
She needed a new plan but now was not the time to think about that. It was almost evening and as agreed earlier, she was going with them to... hunt witches?
The thought filled her with a sense of dread but one thing was for sure though. She wouldn't watch a werewolf, especially the one with the iron claws kill a witch right in front of her and let it go. Never! Someone once asked her this,
'There are three types of leaders. One who rules over the people, one who takes care of them and the one who makes sure to protect them... like family. Which one of them would you like to be?'
She was little then and she had answered like this 'I'd like to be all of them'
A knock on the door brought her out from her thoughts. The door opened and Fiona came inside holding a box.
"What's that?" Sylvia asked as she rubbed her arms which were hurting again.
"A package" Fiona replied "The handsome guy with brown hair wanted me to give this to you. He also said they will be leaving soon"
Handsome guy? She wondered which one of them.
Sylvia opened the box and found that they were clothes.
"Wow! This looks expensive" Fiona said as she took out the first piece. It was a black leather mini skirt. There was also a jacket, heels, and other things she'd never wear!
Just who was this psycho? Was he really expecting her to wear this? She found a note inside and wondered if it was Damian but quickly dispelled that thought when she read it.
'I can't wait to see you in that. Think of what Damian would feel' She knew immediately it was Kellen who wrote this. What game was he trying to play here?
She was really starting to get uncomfortable but on a second thought, it wouldn't be that bad.
"Fiona?" She called and the lady turned to look at her with those pair of bright eyes.
"I heard you have good makeup skills"
"Yes my queen" Fiona got excited at the mention of this.
"Then take care of me"
...
Half an hour later, Kellen entered the living room to meet Damian already sitted on the couch. Dora sat right next to him as they discussed something. He looked up the stairs which was empty then went to sit with them.
"What are you guys talking about?" He crossed his legs as he took out his phone and started to text someone.
"Damian thinks Kai is still too young to join us. He is almost eighteen for goodness sake!" Said Dora.
"Being eighteen doesn't mean he's a grown up besides..." Kellen's expression turned cold "You just want revenge on the poor boy and since you cannot get it this way, you want him with us"
Silence followed for just a short while as Dora chuckled.
"Me...? Revenge? C'mon, what happened that day has been ages ago. I have forgotten and forgiven him" She had a kind expression on her face as if she had truly done a good deed.
Damian didn't say a word. He just lit up a cigeratte and started to smoke as if what they were saying didn't concern him.
"You are in no position to forgive him Dora, get that into your head. If he just asks me... I'd kill you for him. I don't care what the old man would do" Kellen got irritated and stood up to leave but he happened to hear the clicking of shoes at that moment so he paused, then looked up towards the stairs. His mouth opened but no words could come out.
All he saw was a slender figure dressed in all black coming down the stairs. The heels she wore had straps that climbed up her knees and adorned her thighs in such a way that could give a male unhealthy thoughts. His eyes moved upwards, the leather skirt was a perfect fit and as his eyes continued to move, he could finally see those curves he never imagined she possessed. Put in a simple way, she looked smoky hot tonight.
Her striking silver coloured hair was kept down and he noticed she did some makeup which just made all of this so worth it. He was half expecting her not to wear the clothes he bought but now he was so glad that she did. Kellen's eyes moved towards his brother and he saw his eyes, they glowed uncontrallably as he looked at her. His lips curved.
....
Damian
She was like a queen, a regal queen as she climbed down the stairs in such an elegant pose. If he could, he wanted to rush over, pin her against the wall and press his lips against hers. He wanted to... Claim her.
'Mate' His wolf howled in his head and he had to clench his fists as he fought hard for control.
'Shut up!' He snapped annoyingly then stood up.
"Let's go" He told them not giving her another look as he left.
Sylvia watched his back with keen eyes until she felt someone's arm around her. She blinked her eyes back to focus and saw that it was Dora.
"You look hot" Dora complimented and she just a gave a smile that didn't reach her eyes.
The woman was still acting nice but she was not in the mood for that as she quickly followed Damian and Kellen who were already outside.
Behind her, Dora's eyes gleamed for a short moment before it was quickly replaced with a smile and nice expression as she followed.
Damian and Kellen was taking some things from the trunk of the car but she couldn't see what until she reached them and saw that the trunk was opened in many layers before a heap of what looked like weapons were revealed.
She moved closer staring at the different weird objects.
"I will take the gun" She pointed at the black metal and Kellen handed it to her.
"Careful, it's not just a gun"
Sylvia ignored him as she shifted back a little then pointed it at the floor and pressed the trigger. She was expecting some kind of huge noise but there was nothing like that. Only a whoosh sound then a sling out of the gun that had a sharp razor head at the tip. So it wasn't a real gun then.
She placed the gun at her sides and Kellen smiled when he saw the way she handled it. He found another weapon and clicked his tongue. "This one would help you in case something happens and none of us are with you"He opened a bottle that had a transparent liquid inside then brought it closer to his eyes as if he was trying to look inside. "One touch from a witch and this things would make them weak and at your mercy"
Witches bane!
Sylvia froze when she saw he was about to throw it at her. It was a very powerful substance that reacted only to witches. If she so much as even touch the bottle, there's no telling what will happen to her.
Just as she opened her mouth to say that she wouldn't need it, Kellen threw it at her, expecting her to catch.
Her whole body froze as she watched it fly towards her in slow motion. There was nothing she could do. If it even touches her then they'll know immediately that she was not one of them! That she was a witch!
