VI chapter

AT THE SAME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

The Autumn holidays just ended. I know that now I will continue to go to the boring lessons, at least I can see Caroline. I will again be able to spend more time with her. I know that will also mean a lot of less time before exams. I think so that I forgot to mention that our school year will end in May so our exams will begin in the April-June months. I am sure that our be earlier. I do not care too much about it. We call it a test that has one hundred questions, and it has twenty-five from each section.

 I walked closer to the classroom, and I saw Caroline talking to her classmates. 

-Hi Adam.-Caroline said.

-Hi Caroline.-I said.

-How are you?-Caroline said.

-Good.-I said.-What about your holidays?

-It was quite nice.-Caroline said.

-Mine too.-I said and laughed a bit.

-I think, that we are disturbing you two.-One of Caroline's classmates said, and all of the girls walked off. 

-Do you want..-I started, but I heard a bell.-Great. I have to go. I do not want to be late

I walked off and saw that she was standing there. I think that she does not have a lesson now.

-See you later, Adam.-Caroline said and smiled.

After lessons, I walked closer to Caroline and sighed.

-Our history teacher was screaming at us the whole lecture. I do not think that she likes us.-I said.

-It was your problem that day we had to choose teachers you were late and got a female one. A male teacher is more friendly.-Caroline said and laughed a bit.

-Lucky you.-I said and sighed a bit.

-You know that is your problem.-Caroline said.

-I know, I overslept.-I said and smiled.

-So stop arguing about it.-Caroline said and laughed a bit.

Choosing a day is another important day for students that are starting eleventh or twelve grade. It helps us to choose the best teachers. Those were the teachers that we need for our future exams. All students got there early, and I overslept for some reason.

-Can we go now, Caroline?-I asked.

-Sure.-Caroline said and smiled.

I smiled and took her hand softly. I still have not told my father about the relationship, because he would not let me date her at this moment.

-My dad keeps making me study harder since he wants me to follow in his footsteps. I am getting tierd of it.-I said.

-My parents are doing the same thing. It is their job, but it is getting tiring to hear something like that over and over again.-Caroline said and gave me a supportive look.

When we got closer to our houses, I let go of Caroline's hand. I needed to act as friends with her, so my dad would not get mad. It was pretty easy to make him angry lately. I was walking closer to my house when I saw him coming outside.

-Why are yoou so late? You told me that you will come here earlier!-Dad said with a mad tone.

-I got a bit busy.-I said.- What are those people?

-We had a meeting, but don't you dare to change the topic, Adam.-Dad said.

-I am sorry.-I said.

-That is not enough! I do not want to keep looking for you.-Dad said.

-I am not a kid, father!-I said.

I turned around and walked off inside of the house.

-We are not done.-Dad said.

-We can talk later.-I said.

I walked upstairs to my room. I sat down on my bed and sighed.

-He is always acting the same. It's like he does not care about my feelings anymore. He thinks that I wish to be a leader like him. I do not like it that way.-I muttered.

I sat down and grabbed my book. Soon we are having preparation, aka try-out exams. I am happy since soon we will finish this school. Sometimes I wish that I can leave this place as Dom did.

AFTER A FEW MONTHS 

AT THIRD PERSON'S POW:

In a few months winter season finally came. It was a time when more of the students spent time outside and rarely heard a school bell. It was fun since most of the teachers were not so happy about the current situation. 

Even the school deputy director had to call students, and that did not work every single time. Since it was hard to handle a lot of students, a director came outside. Most of the students were scared of that woman because she was keeping everyone intact and knew most of the student's parents personally. Her name was Nina, and she was the director for more than ten years.

A funny accident happened to Kim, who threw a snowball into a deputy director instead of a classmate. He got detention and had to separate books at the library. For most of the students, it seemed not a hard task. Kim hated it the most. It was mostly because he hated studying too. After this accident, his team broke up, since Kim's father became colder and took his pocket money for a month. It was a thing that finally made Kim study for exams. At least one thing at school accidents ended up an advantage for a lazy student. It was because NOBODY ever wanted to get into the Purple section. KIM was from TTV, so his parents already got big expectations for him. 

In the other words, almost all students from Adam's class were from the TTV section except Caroline.
