V chapter

AT THE THIRD PERSON'S POW:

Everything happened when I went to eleventh grade, and Dom was on his year. After finishing this year, Dom will have to take a test and choose a ceremony to decade a place where he will belong. I already knew that after that, we not get support if he does not choose TTV. I mean there is a small chance that I will choose his section, but I do not think that is going to happen. I knew that this will be a way when we will get separated. Adam felt a bit unhappy about it.

-Why you so quiet, Adam?-Dom asked.

-I am thinking it that is your last year here. After a choosing ceremony, I might never see you again.-Adam said.

-I see not a big problem.-Dom said.

-I will be left alone here.-Adam said.

-You have friends, so do not worry about it.-Dom said. -Don't be so sad it is a new day of school.

-You are right.-Adam said and smiled.

After that, both brothers laughed a bit and went into their classroom. Dom sees in a classroom, a new student. It was a girl that teacher mentioned coming here earlier. She is wearing a school uniform, and her hair is kept inside a bun. It was a middle of a class, so Dom sat down and have started listening to a teacher. 

After a four classes ended, all of the students had a lunch break. In that time, all of the classmates started asking new girls questions.

-What is your name? How old are you?-Classmates asked her.

Dom was watching them asking her questions. He asked her nothing until he heard where she came from. It was an exact place where his aunt was living.

-What is your name?-One of the students asked.

-My name is Catherine.-She said and smiled.

-What section do you come from?-Another classmate asked.

-I came from the GIM section.-She said.

She kept answering questions until Dom came closer to her.

-My name is Dominic.-He said.

-I am Catherine.-She said and smiled.-Nice to meet you.

-I think that I met you before. I was living in a GIM section too.-Dom said.

-I moved here not a long time ago.-Catherine said and smiled.

-I now see why you look so familair. See you later.-Dom said and walked off.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

I saw Dom talking with a new girl, and I walked after closer. 

-Do you know her?-I asked.

-I think that I have met her before since she came from the same section as I did.-Dom said.

-I see.-I said and smiled.

---

It took me some time to get a bit closer to her. She had to join me in one of the lectures, since she needed her for a test. I knew that my brother likes her and she only were talking with me when she needed something.

After some time, I noticed that she have started to pay more attention to me than my brother. I know that she got a bit mad because of it, but I do not think that is a big problem. We became good friends, and I am happy because of it. 

It took a while until one day came, I still remember our conversation on that day.

-We must talk.-Catherine said.

-What is wrong?-I asked.

-I do not think that we can be together.-Catherine said.

-Why? We were so great at classes.-I said.

-That is true, but I am more interested in your brother than you.-Catherine said.-I like him.

-Can we still be friends?-I asked.

-I do not mind it.-Catherine said.

I hugged her softly before she walked off. 

After that everything went like usual. We had classes, and our lives were pretty simple. I noticed that Dom was acting a bit differently than before. I think that is because of his and Catherine's conversation. I only know what happened because they decided to talk close to our home. 

-Why did you leave him? I saw you talking with John.-Dom said.

When I heard it, I was shocked. John was one of the amazing guys at school, and every girl adored him. 

-Why did you decide to cheat on me with John? You know that my brother and I hate him.-Dom said.

-I was talking to your brother for John to notice me.-Catherine said.

-So Adam was only like a play toy to you?-Dom asked. -That is pretty low of you.

-I noticed that John is way awesome than you. It was hard to get enough attention from you, and you became pretty boring to me.-Catherine said and groaned lightly. 

So I was nothing for her. It was pretty low of her. Thanks, Dom, for figuring that out.

-Why are you telling me this in secret and not in front of everyone?-I asked.

-Dom would be angry.-Catherine said.

-You did not escape from it.-I said.-You can come out from your hideout.

AT THE SAME TIME 

AT THIRD PERSON'S POW:

Catherine saw how Dom came closer to them, and she gulped. 

-Hi, brother.-Dom said.

-Hi.-Adam said.

-Finally, you know into what kind of a girl we were interested.-Adam said.

-I see that, but how you know it was me?-Dom asked.

-It is my problem, you do not have to worry.-Adam said and smiled.

Both of them looked at Catherine, who got a bit paler.

-Something wrong, you did not expect it?-Dom asked.

-I do not care, and I have to go now.-Catherine said and walked off.

-I think I know that you are going to the John. I do not think that we are going to try to stop you.-Dom said.

-I think so too. I am happy that you are not too mad, brother.-Adam said.

--

Both of the brothers walked off, but soon they saw Catherine again. She was arguing with John and a girl with a rock type of clothes. Adam knew that Dom have heard about it before, but now he saw it with his both eyes.

-Who is she, John?-Catherine asked.

-She is my actual girlfriend.-John said.

-What about me?-Catherine asked.

-I never was interested in you in the first place. I used you to get her attention.-John said.

-I do not understand.-Catherine said.

-I used you to get my girlfriend who broke up with me for her friend.-John said.

-So I am a toy for you? I can not believe it.-Catherine said and frowned.-What is your name?

-My name is Elizabeth.-She said.

-She was living at GIM, now she moved here.-John said.

-Now I recognize you.-Catherine said and frowned.

-It seems that you finally have recognized me. I am glad that we finally met, weirdo. It was a bad idea to talk with a person, who was smarter than you.-Elizabeth said.

-Yoou are talking about that physics competition? I still got into a finals.-Catherine said.

-You had to study a lot, and I got there easily.-Elizabeth said.

-We still ended in nobody wining this.-Elizabeth said.

-She is Elizabeth. She is from my rock band and the main vocalist.-John said.

After that, John kissed Elizabeth on the cheek and left. Adam looked and Dom, who realized about what kind of band they were talking about it. It was „Rule breakers“. It is a pretty popular band. Dom watched how Catherine tried to hit him, but he stopped her and just pushed her on the floor. I was surprised that he did nothing to help her. 

AT THE SAME TIME

AT ADAM'S POW:

I, and Dom, walked closer to her, and we saw how she was crying all alone. 

-I told you that it was a mistake, Catherine. Now you are left all alone.-Dom said.

-Please, forgive me.-Catherine said, and I could really hear her sad voice.

-I do not think so. At least not now.-Dom said and left with me.

We were not sure what Catherine was thinking at this moment. I often saw Dom thinking about her, but I never saw her talking to me or him. Later I heard that she went back to the GIM section. A week later, I heard that she killed herself by drowning in a well. It was sad news for all her previous classmates, but it was for sure most heartbreaking for my brother. I knew that he loved her.

On the selection day, Dominic to my surprise has chosen a BK section. I have never seen him since that day. I mean, I was surprised that he took the BK section and not TTV since he was able to go to both places. I think that he wanted to open a new page in his life. It was a day when I lost my brother and dad's son, since he was pretty sad about it. „A skills are more important than life, but they never are essential as a family“. That phrase meant for him a lot after all.
