1212 Words
In the study room. Delta slumped in his chair, wondering what to do now. He didn't want to upset Ian Because he also wanted to visit this prison-like palace and see the outside world. He wants to feel the cool fresh breeze outside. But as his little sister Jade said. He is not allowed to leave this palace. It's not that he didn't try to leave this place. When he was seven years old he had tried to go out a couple of times but because of that many people lost their lives. His powers got out of his control and he even put his own life in danger. But every time an unknown voice stops him from moving forward or losing his temper. Delta didn't tell his grandmother about those voices because he was very attached to those voices. Only those two voices used to lighten his loneliness. Due to not going out, Delta still did not face any kind of inconvenience or lack of anything. His grandmother and Uncle Manson would visit Delta on full moon nights. Similarly, Delta's grandmother used to arrange for some wizards to teach Delta to study and control his uncontrollable powers. Delta loves machines. Along with this, he was also interested in magic. That's why Delta made his own secret lab. He is making a time travel machine. He had read about that machine in a historical book. So that he can get his memory back by going back to the time he lost his memory. Delta doesn't remember anything about his childhood or anything related to his parents. His grandmother told him that his parents were killed by enemies when he was five years old. Delta felt sad knowing that he did not get the love of his mother-father. Anger was also coming for them who snatched his family from him. He made a promise to himself that he would destroy them once he grew up. That's why he trained himself from the age of seven. Delta asked his Grandma who they were and why killed his parents. But his grandmother told him that he was not yet ready to fight with his enemies. He needs to train stronger. Once he proves himself she will tell him everything about his parents. He just needs to follow some rules for that. The most important rule is to control his power. And for that, he needed to stay in this palace. That's why Delta was kept here away from his pack so that he would be able to train and learn for the war against his enemies. While Delta was trying to regain his memories, it got harder for him because as his age grew his powers also became uncontrollable. To control his powers, his grandmother had put a collar around his neck. Which was used to prevent Delta's power from getting out of control. And whenever Delta was out of control, some wave would emanate from his belt which would put him to deep sleep. Today Delta turned twenty years old. He was waiting for this moment so that he could know about his mother. He is so observant about knowing his mother. Delta's grandmother promised him that he would tell him about his mother. So Delta was eagerly waiting for his grandma's arrival. She was going to come tomorrow, but suddenly she changed the plan. This is why Delta didn't want to make his grandma. He had prepared himself completely. So that he can hear about the death of his mother and father. But now he was getting worried about his younger brother. Without thinking twice, he promised to visit Ian at his school and meet his friends. Ian and Jade were his uncle Mason's children. They have come here for further studies. Dalta was kept separate from everyone since childhood. Because his powers used to kill anyone. But his collar kept Ian and Jade safe. When he was sent to live in a dark palace outside this city, Delta was all alone. As the time changed, Delta had done it in its power control. That's why Ian and Jade were sent here. Ian and Jade strike up a good friendship when they first meet Delta. Delta was most happy to have a younger brother and sister. Both the kids, who are now in high school, love Delta very much. That's why they want Delta to see their high school knowing that Delta didn't go out. The same Delta also loves him more than life so he didn't refuse their demands. And today the same love created the war in between his heart and mind. His mind was saying that he should wait for Grandma to stay in this place, but his heart was saying that he must go to school today to cheer up his upset siblings. Delta was sitting in this confusion. "Sir, your tea." Butler placed the cup of tea in front of Delta. "Have Ian and Jade reached school?" Delta asked the butler. "Yes, sir." The butler nodded his head. "Has Ian's mood improved?" Delta asked in worried. "No, sir. He seems very upset today. If you don't get angry at me, can I say something?" The butler asked. "Say it." Delta waves his hand. "It is not wrong to go out, sir." The butler said. "You also say that I should go out? You know that if Grandma sees me outside, she will punish me to stay in the black room. And worse is she will not tell me anything about my Mom. But I want to know. I really want to know about my Mom." Delta said calmly, the Butler can feel desperation. "The Witch Queen Melissa must have told you something about your parents." The butler said. "She does, but a very small amount. Didn't tell me about Mom. She only talks about Dad. What a great king he was. But she didn't say anything about her Mom. And whenever I asked about my Mom, she just said that she would tell me after I turned twenty years old. And today is the day when I will get to know about my Mom and if grandma has her picture then I want to see that too. This is why I don't want to anger Grandma in any way. Now you tell me what I should do?" Delta looks at the butler. "I think you can go out for a while. Anyway, the Witch Queen and the Alpha Manson are coming in the evening and they inform me." Butler said, smiling softly. "Really? I thought they were coming now." Delta quickly got up from his chair and asked for a surprised face. "Yes Sir, Alpha Manson has sent a message that they will come in the evening. Also, Alpha Manson's younger brother is coming to meet you too. So you will be very busy in the evening. You better go now. If you really want to go. Hey, where did he go?" Butler looked at the place where Delta had been standing a while back. In the blink of an eye, he was nowhere in the room. There was only an empty chair now. The butler smiled, picked up the empty cup of tea and went out. *****
