Watching those people who call Ellie family hurt her is too much for me. I do not want them around her or Leah. I will fight for my family with everything I have in me. I do not need these people upsetting Ellie. It is not a wonder she spent her life sick. If I had to live with that horrible woman, I would be sick too.
After calming Ellie and helping her into a housecoat mom bought for her in the hospital's gift shop, she finally is out of bed and in a wheelchair. Ellie will finally get to see baby Leah. I feel terrible I was able to touch baby Leah and lay eyes on her before Ellie. She deserved to be the first person.
The nurse lets me push the wheelchair, and she follows along behind us. My mother and Crissy stay behind this time. They want Ellie to have her moment
