Ellie falls off the porch and lands her stomach first on the ground. I push past her i***t brother and run to her. There is blood on her head. I roll my precious wife over carefully. Her eyes are vacant. "What have you done?" I scream at Thomas.
Thomas kneels down beside Ellie. "I am so sorry, Ellie," Thomas says. He touches her. I push him off of her. My mother and Crissy come off the porch. "I will call an ambulance," My mother says.
I look at Thomas. I have so much hatred for him at this moment. I want to wrap my hands around his neck and choke the life out of him. "I did not mean for her to fall," Thomas says.
"You and your family have hurt her enough. Get out of here, now!" I scream at him. Thomas gets up and runs back to his car. He takes off before my mother
