Reid pov

It's been four days since Conny has been gone. I felt a slight ache, I felt like something was missing from my life, I knew it was because she was gone. My wolf was crying out for her. Telling me she wasn't really dead. So I decided to have rogues to find her. Two days went by and they had found nothing. He had finally settled down. I knew he was heart broken. So I told him we will find another mate at the ball. That will do what we tell them to do.

"Mates are not to be told what to do Reid, They are our equal. They are meant to be loved and help us. Not to be used like you did with Conny. Now look at what you've done."

"Will you calm down? Things will get better once I take over this pack. It will be all mine. Conner is there right now trying to keep her in love with him. I'm sure he will be able to do it. Conner pov

Once we were at Mariah’s house, we settled down. I sat on the couch and she went to pour her a glass of wine and handed me a beer, i sat on the couch relaxing. I still could not believe my father tried to give me wolfbane, what is he thinking? I knew what he was thinking, He knew sooner or later I will be challenging him and he wants me weak and my wolf at bay, there is no way i will keep my wolf at bay he has helped me so much, he was the only one there for me when my mother had died, my father didn’t care, he did his own thing, he didn't even comfort me when my mother died, i still until this day think that he was part of what had happened, And for that, i will find out the truth, once the truth comes out, i will be all over him, Mariah set beside me looking at me with concern on her face,

‘Are you okay? You look really deep in thought. maybe i can help, if you let me.”

“I was just thinking of my mother. She was so strong, she would help with the pack, go out in train she even helped in battle, my father never liked that, he never liked her being strong. He liked weak women. He never loved her. I am figuring things out right now. The way he would not talk to her when others were around, he wouldn't take her to meetings. He was always thinking of ways to keep her home. So when she was home she would train. The pack was wanting her to be alpha instead of my father, they loved her we all mourn when the rogues got to her, you see i'm not the only one that thinks he had something to do with it."

"Do you really think he was involved? What are you going to do once he is here, I'll help just let me know what I need to do and I'll be there."

"You are helping, you're listening to me when I need it the most. But I think once he's here he's going to do everything possible to bring everyone down. I can't let that happen Mariah," she listened to me until I was calmed down. She reached for my hand her thumb rubbing the top. I felt so at peace right now, I was glad I was here with her right now. But the moment got cut short when a knock at the door made both of us jump. We got up to answe the door. It was Cindy and Helm. I wondered what they wanted?

"Alpha Jordon wants all of us to be at the office right now something to do with a alpha coming,"

"Well let's get going, don't to keep alpha Jordon waiting."

Cindy pov

I knew I was a part of this pack now. And it's only been a few days. I liked it here more than Reid's pack, no one puts anyone down, no one picks on each other unless they are just joking around. I was waiting for Helm to get home from his shift when he came into the house he told me that Jordon wants Him and I with Mariah and Conner to the office. There is an alpha coming and he would like all of us to meet him. That is so weird. Why do we need to meet an alpha, well I went to Mariah house letting them know. We are now on our way up the stairs. When Helm said.

"I wondered what alpha is coming. Maybe he is of royal that we need to protect him when he comes."

"I don't know but we better get to Jordon before he gets here.'' We were all sitting in his office waiting. I still can't get over the fact that his office is so beautiful. Reid never had family photos up on his wall. His desk was always a mess but this one was clean. Everything in its place. Even his books shelf was organized with scrolls and books in their place. And it smelled good in here, not like old farts and s*x, I didn't see a single thing of trash on the floor. He was very clean here, very respectable, he was an awesome Alpha, I am glad I'm in this pack. When Jordon walked inside he looks at all of us smiling his wife Violet walked with him behind his desk and stood beside him.

"Alright guys, we are going to have a house full of people soon. Not to mention Alyssa had found her mate. She should be on her way back inside with him as of now. But that's not what I wanted you here for. We are going to have a whole lot of visitors for a few days. The house is going to be full until this whole danger shi't is done and over with. Cindy, I will need you to be calm okay.

"What do you mean by that? I am calm, Alpha Jordon." We all turned when the door slowly started to open. My eyes were huge when I saw this handsome alpha come into the room. But I was shocked to see who was behind him. I jumped out of my chair, almost knocking it down and ran to my sister with tears in my eyes. I threw my arm around her

"Conny, Conny, oh my goodness I thought I would never see you again." We both cried hugging each other.

"I thought so too. But my mate insisted we come here to help Alpha Jordon. He tried to take over Ming's pack as well. But he threw him out of his land. Now half our pack is here. With some other alphas the grounds have three different packs now."

"Yes of course. The party is in two days. So the packs are either staying here or in a hotel. But first things first. Conny, Cindy, you have to keep hiding until the party. You can not let anyone see you outside these grounds. If Reid finds out. our plan will be ruined. He will know that we know that he's trying to take this pack, we just have to be ready for him that's all

Alyssa pov

Lexus and I talked almost until nine at night, I realized we were late getting back so we hurried back into my dads office, he wasn't even mad, I guess he forgot about the time because there was butload of people sitting around talking to dad, Lexus sat down pulling me on his lap, I knew dad didn't like it so I got up sitting in the chair next to my mate, he understood so he held my hand instead.

"Well you too are late, but I will, let that go this time, Alyssa this is Cindy's sister, I guess you already knew that since they look just alike. They are here to help us, including going to the party. Lexus, did your members find the cabins to their likings?"

"Yes they did, they are hoping they will, get to find thier mates while they are here. Thank you for inviting us here until the party is over. Hopefully we can get rid of the danger before we go home. And Alyssa will be going with me." Oh no, I knew dad was going to burst a blood vessel I can tell by the look on his face, I was ready for the blow up,but there wasn't any, he was calm.

"Alpha Lexus as long as she is eighteen she will be able to go with you, that will be in another few weeks, but she also wants to go to college and travel the world, I hope you will not hold her back from doing that."

"Of course not, she can go to any college she wants, for traveling the world I would love to go with her, I've been to many places I would love to show her. Including the place I was born," I couldn't stop watching both my dad and Lexus, my dad was taking it so well about Lexus, taking me around the world showing me his home where he was born,I had to put my two scents into it as well there talking like I'm not even here.

"Hey guys, you do know I'm right in this room right? And I'm listening to everything, dad I'm going to go to college but I want to travel the world as well, even if I didn't have a mate I will still be going,"

"I know dad, but I'm growing up and you have taught me so much. I learned from the best," we both smiled at each other, my dad understood me. Just because I have a mate now doesn't mean I won't do what i been wanting to do, I already know the first place I want to go and that's Paris. Then London, then I will go from there. I already have my passport and plenty of money. I have the hotels booked and the restraunts I want to go to, I want to try the food,
