chapter 19

Alyssa pov

I was finally done painting the nursery, I loved this color soy blue. I even did some clouds that would look like they were floating in the sky. I had opened the window so the fumes were overbearing when they walked into the room to see what I'd done. I uncovered all the furniture so it would get paint on them. I think I got more paint on me than anywhere else. I had to take a shower and scrub the paint off of me. Then I tried off got dresser on jeans and a pull over pink shirt. Dried my hair and brushed it. Then put on my sandals. I wanted them to see it. So I hurried to my dads office. Riot was jumping around like crazy. Saying something about mate. Hub what. I stopped and asked her,

"Riot, what are you talking about?"

"Mate. Mate is here. He's close by. Come on, we need to find him."

" Riot he can wait, let's just go and have mom and dad look at the room if they like it." she whispered when we walked into the room, I knew he was in a meeting but I was just to excited.

"Mom dad, you should see the nursery. It looks so good." I didn't pay any attention at first. Then I smelled a scent of forest and fresh cut grass. I slowly turned say parents watched on. And I looked at the most sexiest man I have ever seen in my life. His eyes was the brightest green and his hair was put up in a man bun. He had tattoos on his arms and neck. Riot was packing and jumping around. I came back to my mind. And ran out the door. He is not going to want me. I am only seventeen years old and I won't be eighteen until another week. Riot told me to stop running. He wants us. I was shaking me head when I was about to open the front door shift and run into the woods when he stopped me, he had me in his arms looking into my blue eyes

"Why are you running from me. It was you that I scented last night wasn't it. You were in wolf form running around. I watched you, how old are you honey?"

"She won't be eighteen until another week. Alyssa what did we tell you. You have to be careful. Why were you out in the woods in the middle of the night? Rogues could have gotten you." my dad had said. damn it I knew I was in trouble now. I slowly looked at my dad.

"I'm sorry, all this stress of everyone else having mates. I just wanted to get out and run for awhile. But wait. Riot tried to scent you out. How come we couldn't scent you out? He softly laughed as he told me

"Because i know how to cover my scent when i want to be left alone, I was out for a run last night as well, it was my wolf that scented you, we watched you for some time. it looked like you wanted to be left alone, So we only watched making sure rogues did not attack. But once your wolf growled i knew she could scence something. Once you ran i had hoped back home. i went back to the hotel. I wont tell you what i did,. and no it was not what you think. I couldn’t sleep when i got back so i got on line and ordered some stuff, So, you still have not told me why you ran away just now.”

“Yes, we are waiting for you, young lady. Why did you run when you knew he was your mate? Is there something wrong honey?” I knew I had to tell them or they would be standing there all day and night waiting for me to answer. so fine. I will tell them.

“I don't even know your name yet. But I am only seventeen years old, I won't be of age for another few weeks. Everyone here has a mate. even my best friend has a mate, oh mom, dad. Mariah knows i can shift, she saw me out there in the woods too. She confronted me when I shifted back up in my room. but anyways. I looked into his eyes and just blurted it out, not caring what he would say. I was worried that you just didn't want a mate so young, I can’t even be a luna until I am of age. So, you can go ahead and reject me if you want, i can take it, He looked at me with so much emotion, i really could not explained what emotion it was, but he pulled me close and held me tightly, until my mom cleared her throat,. he didn’t push me away though he still had his arm around me,

“Honey, I am only twenty one years old, I have been looking for a mate since I turned sixteen. If you think I am going to reject you because of your age you have another thing coming. You will be eighteen in a few weeks. You are my mate, my Luna, you are my pack luna. Some will be here in a few minutes. they will love to meet you. I Alyssa Black of the Green Oval moon pack, accepts you Lexus Smith as my mate for life. he again pulled me to him hugging me tightly to him, it was my father that cleared his throat, he gently pulled away from me, looking at my father,

“So, since we got this business done and I found out my daughter was out there by herself running around, we still have to talk about this Alyssa, but until then let's go back to my office and talk about this.” I could tell my father wasn’t very happy that I had found my mate so soon. but he is dealing with it as good as he can, when we got back to the office, the first thing he had said, and i agreed to it and so did Lexus, and my mother,

“First off, our daughter is only seventeen, you will not be in the same room with her, you can be in the room across the hall, there will be a guard outside her room,”

‘Dad, come on, there doesn’t have to be a guard… the look he gave me told me if i said another word, i would be locked in my room until i was in my thirties, so I shut up and agreed with my father and mom,

“Alright, the dance is this Saturday, Conners dad will be there he had called me and told me he was already back here with Mariah, he will be here in a few minutes, he just wanted to see her first, other then that, I will show you to your rooms in a few minutes, Alyssa why don’t you take Lexus around the grounds to get to know each other, be back here in a few hours on the dot, and i better not see any marks on your necks,

‘Alpha Jordon, You do not have to worry, she will not be marked or anything else until she is eighteen, this i promise you, this is your land and your rules, he took my hand and lead me out of my dads office, i was a little worried i didn't know where to take him so i decided to take him to the pond i like to go to think at times,

Jordon pov

I didn't know what was going on when my daughter walked into the room, she wanted to show us what she did in the babies room, i couldn’t wait to see it, then she just ran out of the room after she looked at Alpha Lexus, i knew what had happened, and i did not like it at all, she was only seventeen years old, she was my little girl, i knew she wasn't little anymore, but dame, why did she had to find her mate so soon, i wanted to cuss the moon goddess, but i dared not to. but i did set some ground rules, no sleeping in the same room, and when they left to go get to know each other, there better not be any marks on eithers neck. i will go off if i see any mate marks on their necks, i am not ready to see this, my mate clearly wasn’t either we knew it was going to happen, but not this soon, she will be eighteen in a few weeks, she can do whatever she wants to do then, but right now, she is still my little girl until then, the door opened again Cooner and Miraha walked into the room, he pulled her on his lap, you see i didnt mind this, Miraha was of age and she wasn’t my daughter, even though i have thought of her as a daughter we took care of her when her parents go travel around the world, then tend to do that every now and then, so she decided she would have her own house, she's been living by herself since she was seventeen, we look in on her from time to time,

"So Conner, is everything set to go? Did your father agree to come to the dance with a few of his unmated pack members?” He nodded but I could tell something was wrong just by looking at him, “What's wrong. Did he want you to do something?”

“Yes sir, he did. He wanted me to come back here to be with Alyssa to make sure she didn’t fall out of love with me. He’s coming to the dance with some of the pack members, but the thing is, they're not on his side. even the guards are not on his side, they want me to be the alpha of my pack. But something tells me that he won't be only bringing the pack, he will be bringing extra company, we are going to need to keep an eye on him and the rest of the group, what are we going to do if he wants to see Alyssa with me?"

"Easy Conner, Alyssa and Mariah both have long dark hair. If he wants to see you with her, then he will. Just Mariah will be on your arm not my daughter, then we will set our plan up for him. I Know you don't want to hurt your father. So If you want to stay out of it, them you can."

"No sir, I will need to help, i will need tp challenge him, he's tried to poison me with wolfbane, i let him believed he did, now he will find out what I can really do. i am so sick and tired of him trying to hurt people, i am tired of him trying to make me do something that i do not want to do. He thinks Conny and Cindy are dead. He is going to be really in shock when he sees her,”

“Let him think she is. because then he will be really in shock, has she heard from her sister yet”

‘No Alpha, Sadly she hasn’t, she keeps hoping she woul find something from her or have a mindlink or a call from her, its only been a few days now we are hoping she made it out without getting hurt, or worse dead, It would break her heart if anything happened to her,” I am thinking we should send some trackers to see if they can find her, i mean not to bring her back because that is going to make her run but to just see if she is okay,”

“Mariah it's a good plan but we do not know where to start honey, as far as we know she is out of this state by now, Her scent might be still lingering in the woods, we could put a few trackers on that. Maybe they can track to see if she is still on the land or if she got out,. look for any trace of fighting or blood, But if we do find her, we have to be hushed about it. Cindy will want to go to her and try to being her back here knowing it's dangerous,”

‘Agreed. You two go rest up and make sure you have your mindlinks unblocked just incase i need you to help out, i will give my trackers a call andand see what they can do okay,” Mariah and Conner nodded then left my office, this has been a very long day, first my only daughter found her mate, as much as i do not like it she will be eighteen soon enough, Then she will be going with her mate to his pack there she will be luna and help with the pack. da”mn it i hate this, Shes growing up and i hate it, where had the time gone, I had to clear my head really quickly, i know at any time my daughter could read my thoughts, i dont want her to know how i am feeling she might feel guilty and reject the alpha, and i do not want that, I made the phone calls to my trackers, letting them know to just see if she is alright, not to bring her back, i do not want to know where she is at, just find out if she is still on this land or in this town or state, I hung the phone up leaning back in my chair i had to drink a drink to calm my nerves, we have the dance, then two weeks for her to be eighteen, how am i going to deal with all of this, how is her mother dealing with all of this, I knew Alyssa was with him right now, i will give her a few more hours to spend time with him, and then time is up,

“Jordon, let them spend time together, its not going to be long for her to be eighteen, i agree no sleeping in the same bed, or any marks not until she is eighteen, but let them spend some time together,” I knew my mate was right, i hated it but i knew she was right,

“Fine, but it doesnt mean i have to like it,” I watched her smile then walked over to me sitting on my lap, i loved how she always smiled when she knew i did not like something,

“Honey, you do not have to like it, shes going to be doing a lot of things we wont like, but shes growing up now, remember her dating that human boy, she handled it well when she cought him cheating, even though she wanted to rip his head off, but she didnt, she was upset for awhile and then got over it, she knew one day she would find her mate, she has graduated, going to college, and now this, our little girl is growing up,”

‘Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, now shut up and kiss me.” she started laughing as i pulled her close to me kissing her passiontly, goddess i love this woman, even though i hate it when she is right but i do love this woman.”

Conney pov

Ming had me in his master bedroom now, I asked him why he would do that. the last mate i had had me locked in another room until he needed me, he looked at me really strange, shaking his head,

“Listen, i dont know what kind of mate you had that would do that to you, but mates are suppose to be together, sleeping in the same room and bed, we learn from each other and get to know each other, im sorry he put you through this, but i am not him, you are my mate and i want you with me in the same room and in the same bed, i even bought a new bed because i didnt want my mate sleeping in a bed that well never mind about that, but i threw the old one away, you will know everything about me, and i will not be locking you in a room where noone will be able to see you or meet you, You will be in the office with me during meetings and i will be teaching you about the computer as well,” we had talked for hours about these things, and i had learned away around the pack house, i even met all the pack memebers, and trust me it was a heck of a lot, even some of the females didnt like me much at first, i knew why and i didnt care, they wanted to be luna, when they figured out i wasnt going anywhere, they had learned to respect me, and i them, i knew i needed to somehow try to reach my sister even though i couldnt say anything to her, Ming had given me a phone that could not be traced, and a phone that could, he had told me he knew i would want to try and reach out to my sister, he handed it to me, and told me the phone can not be traced, if she has a cell phone call her, atleast try and talk to her, she is your sister. i knew he was right, i was sitting in the living room with the phone in my hand, i knew it was time to atleast try to let her know that i am okay, Taking a deep breath, i dialed her number, i listened for it to ring a few times, a fourth and fifth time, then she answered, her voice was like a breath of freash air, she was my sister, and i miss her so much, i dared not to say anything, i think she knew who it was,

“Hello, hello, if this is a scam call i do not want anything,” i wanted to laugh when she said that, other times she would say texas slaughter house we slice and dice how can i help you today, they would hang up and we would laugh, but this was serious, she knew who it was, she knew it was me,

“Conny if this is you, i miss you, i hope you are okay, did you make it out tap once for yes twice for no, i tapped a button once, i heard her breath a sigh of relife,

“Are you okay, Jordon said he was going to send trackers to find you to see if your okay, if i can just let him know you called and that your okay, he wont send them, are you okay please be okay,” i was starting to get nervous, if he sends trackers they would bring me back, i can't go back, it would be to dangrous. i had to hurry and tap once, she again sighed a relife, “Alright, i know your okay, i will let him know so he wont send them, i wish i knew where you were, and who was you with, but know everything is okay, Reid thinks im dead because he felt your death, Please Conny please call me again, atleast let me know your okay,” i hung the phone up quickly before i started talking to her, tears were running down my face when Ming came into the living room, he hurried over to me, kneeled down infront of me holding me tightly to his chest,

“My love, are you hurting, is your side hurting, what happened are you okay?”

“Yes im okay, i just got off the phone with my sister, i let her know in my own way that i was okay, Ming, i dont know what to do, a part of me wants to bring her and her mate here, but if Reid finds out that im a live then she would be in so much danger, he would stop at nothing to find me, and kill the both of us, i didnt realize that I had said his name when i realized what i just did his eyes where huge, and very angry, i thought he was mad at me, or angry, but it wasnt me that he was angry with, it was Reid that he was angry at, He sat me back down on the couch, he started pacing back and forth, i didnt even know why he was doing that, i stood up from the couch and watched him, when Reid did this, i tried to stop him, he would slap me so hard that i would be knocked down on the ground, I hope he doesn’t do what he did. When he would walk by me, i finally grabbed his hand in mine, pleading with my eyes for him to talk to me, i watched his face from being angry to a face that was very calm when he looked at me,

“Will you please talk to me, why are you so angry at me?” again he looked at me confused, he sat in his chair and tapped his lap for me to sit down, when i sat in his lap he kissed me and then he told me why he was so angry but it wasn’t at me.

“I am not angry at you Conny, i am angry of the fact that you had to run from this man to keep you and your sister safe, i know Reid honey and you might not like how i know of him, but i know him, He came to my pack not so long ago wanting a treatie, but he had this paperwork for me to sign, he didnt know that i was going to read every single bit of it, but i did, he had put down if any time that he wanted my pack i had to step down and give my pack to him, he had tried to start a fight, but my guards threw him off my land, this man is evil Conny, he would stop at nothing to get what he wants, I say we go to the pack that your sister is at right now, and we help those people, will you tell me the alphas name, do you know the alphas name?” i was so scared right now, what if he finds out i am there, what would happen if he figures out i was still alive, this man had beat me so badly once that i thought i would die, maybe its time to have my time now, maybe i can help, No matter what i do, he will find out about me still being alive so lets just do what we need to do, I softly sighed looking at him,

“I know who he is, and what his name is, he's a well known alpha, and his mate is as well, his name is Alpha Jordon, His mate is Luna Voliet,: he nodded smiling wide at me, this time i was confused, what did he know that i didn't know,

Ming pov

After Conny told me what had happened and who was her mate. I was outraged. I wanted to go and kick his a$$ but I knew she would just run to make sure he would never find her again. When she placed her hand on my arm. I could see the look of fear on her face. What did this man do to her that would make her scared to even touch me? I knew I had a long road ahead of me to get her to trust me. The other day. She let me mark her. And I let her do the same. But the mating part. I knew she was worried. She said she has scars. I have yet to see them. If I do. I know I am going to go slap off on him. So I let her go at her own pace. When I asked her if I could call Jordon to see if he would need my help. She nodded. But I still knew she was still worried. I didn't want her scared anymore, so when I called I put it on speaker so she could hear me, the phone rang a few times and then he answered it.

"Hello Alpha Ming. It is a surprise to hear from you today. Is everything okay. Are you still coming to the dance?"

"Of course I am. But I had found my mate. So I will be bringing some of the pack members with me some of my best warriors as well. We should be there in a few hours." I knew he knew that I knew. But he didn't know who my mate was. I have someone here that ran from that scumbag. She had told me everything he had done. Now these two sisters are powerful together. I can tell just by the way she speaks about her. Will it be alright for us to come?"

"Of course. Of course Alpha Ming. I will let Cindy know that she will be coming. They can get their bond back together. Maybe talk about what had happened,

"of course Alpha Jordon. We should be there in a few hours, just have your guards know when they see a cat with black out windows to open the gate. I will not put my mate in danger for anything she's already been through enough sir."

"Not a problem. I will alert the guards and let her sister know someone will be coming to see her." the phone hangs up. I mindlinked the unmated and my strongest warriors letting them know to pack a few things we are leaving for a few days. I told my Gamma to take care of the pack until I get back to the land. We got up and hurried so we can get things done
