Chapter 16

Reid pov

When I walked into the room i saw her sitting there on the window sil looking out the window. I knew she loved looking out into the woods, she looked so beautiful just sitting there. When I walked over to her, I held out my hand to her, she got up putting her hand in mine. I pulled her to me. I was coming so close to marking her. My wolf was chomping at the bit to do it. my canines grazed her neck, she slowly moved away.

"What do you need me to do today Do you need me to follow my sister and watch her to make sure she is doing what she is told to do. i hope she won't ruin what we have planned, i know how you are wanting us to rule that pack together, if she messes up i'm sure the plan will be ruined, You know i will need to go. if I see anything at all. I will have to bring her back here.” Conny knew what i wanted her to do, she has been spying for me for many years now. i think once she is back i will mark her as mine. i will have to let the rest of the women know i will be a taken man soon. But when she leaves. i will have my fun. i wont mark her until she is back. Maybe i wont. it all depends what she tells me once she is back home.

“You know we are going to lose her right. you keep using her to do your bidding, she must know you do not love her,”

“We won't lose her, she will be back like she always does. besides you worry to much,”

‘You need to stop fu,cking these skanks, they are nothing compare to Conny,” I kissed her softly on the lips telling her how happy she makes me when she is willing to help with watching over her sister, that she should leave in thirty minutes. I will be waiting for you when you get back. We have alot to talk about. im sure you will be happy with.”

‘Is that so, well I must hurry to dress so i can go and get back then. You have me wondering what we must talk about. i will be back soon. give me three hours and i will have all the information you need.” she kissed me back i moved to leave i saw something at the corner of my eye, it looked like a letter.

“Is that for me?”

“You know it is, i write you a letter everytime i leave here to do things you want me to do. i will be down shorty to give to it to you.” i nod as i walked out. she might not know this. but i read every letter she had given me. i had tossed them in the trash afterwards. there was no need in keeping them. some i had kept. alot i had thrown out, i headed to my office to wait for her. I poured myself a glass of brandy sitting down to get on my computer, it was an hour before she came down to give me my letter. she walked over to hug and kiss me, handed me my letter,

“I will be back in three hours, i just want to make sure she is doing what she is told, i might have to remind her who is in charge here,” she didn’t see me smirk as she hugged me and told me she would be back. i watched her walk out the room. i heard the front door open and close, she was gone to do what I told her to do, i knew she didn't know she had a tracker in her left leg. how would she find out its so thin that she wouldn't even feel it, i took out the device, that's how i kept track of her, that's how i know where she goes at all times. I opened the letter up to read

"I shall be back soon. I love you darling"

Conny pov

I was finally out of that house, I was glad his hand didn't move to my back. He would find the envelope with money inside, he only kept his hands on my shoulders, he had a weird way of hugging me. I wrote his letter and placed it in his hand. The letter he saw was the letter to my sister. I was thankful that he didn't want to take it and read it, so I only wrote a few words to him. I wrote him i will be back soon to talk to him, and i loved him. though the love part was lies, when i felt him graze my marking spot, i moved away, if he had marked me i wouldn't be able to leave. the necklace wouldn't work. so i had to move from him when i felt it canines, I was now in my car. once i was close enough i would park my car get out shift and run in wolf form the rest of the way, i drove for about forty five minutes, i stopped and parked the car so no one would be able to find it for a while. I tied the elevlope to my ankle making sure the tracker was in it, i will have to make sure that I take it out before I leave. i also tied my close to my ankle as well, i don't want to be standing there naked if i was found. i then walked into the woods making sure no one would see me, then i started to shift into my Brown wolf, when i first shifted i looked into the mirror to see what she looked like, she was so beautiful, with her brown fur and hazel green eyes, she whimpered wondering why we had to leave without telling our sister.

‘Izzy, we have to leave, if we don’t she will always be in danger. just calm down okay, once we are gone we will be okay,. She will be to. i promise.” i didnt hear anything else from her., she enjoyed running and i let her take over until we got to Jordons pack. i got to the spot were i knew they could not tell if i was there or not. i sprayed the spray on me so the guards wouldnt be able to scent that i was there. I placed the letter on the huge bolder that was there. Then I placed the bond ring on top of it. Once I put this necklace on my neck. the bond would end. tears started coming down from my eyes. as i watched her i already knew what she told me she was going to do. she was not going back there. that would keep her safe. but me leaving will make her safer. I watched as she started a fight with Alyssa,. then a guard came and grabbed her. Her father told her to take her to the cells, i knew the guard wouldn't. That was her mate. He would take her inside,. the rogues that were watching would report back to Reid, okay, its time, I put the necklace on my neck. she made it so the chain would grow when I shift and shrink when i am human, i took the chip out of the package tossed it as far away as i could. then put the necklace around my neck. i shifted into Izzy, i heard my sister calling for me, but i couldn’t turn to look at her, I knew i had to run. I had to get out of here before i changed my mind. i ran until i couldnt run anymore. i was out of his territory, i could feel the bond between sisters break i howled loudly i could hear her scream, i wanted to turn back and run to her. but i couldn’t i had to keep going, it was going to be the afternoon, Reid will end up having trackers track me, i knew he had a tracker to track me, and once i tossed that thing as far as i could, i knew he would have them right away to find me, the necklace would keep them from doing that, they wouldn’t even be able to smell my scent. the witch said it was very powerful. that only my true mate would be able to know who i was. Reid was not my true mate. he had fooled me for so long. and when she had told me this. i knew then i had to get out of here,

Reid pov

i was coming inside from watching the warriors train,. when my tracker was beeping like crazy, did it happen? did she find out that i had put a tracker inside her skin, then i felt it, the pain of death from my mate. i roared as i went down to my knees, this could not be happening, my mate is dead. how could this happen, She was always smart not to get cought, did Jordon find her and kill her, this can not be happening, i started laughing, i was thinking well one sister down one sister to go, if she had died then Cindy would be feeling the pain and soon she will follow, all I need to do now is have Conner follow my lead, he would make a great leader. He will learn from me of course, Now here comes the fun part. my son will come home alone and i will be here to comfort him about the death of his mate,

Cindy pov

i dont know what happened, We where doing what we was plaining to do. Alyssa walked over to hug Conner, then i attacked her just a little bit, i smacked her shoulder but those that was wacthing from afar would think i slapped her face. there was some hair pulling and a little bit of hitting, nothing hard. Then Jordon hurried over made me let go of Alyssa i had her in a head lock she was trying not to laugh, he demanded that i let go of his daughter, Helm hurried over and take me to the dungone but he wouldnt take me there., he was leading me to his house, but something was wrong, i felt my sister near, but it was different, i saw her toss something and then place something on a bolder,

“Helm wait, something is wrong. I watched as she placed a necklace around her neck, she looked into my eyes then she shifted into her wolf, i screamed out her name but she didn't turn around she ran, i felt our sister bond break, i screamed going down to my knees, the pain was so strong that i doubled over, Mariah came running over with something in her hand a letter and her ring. but why would she do this? I just do not understand. Helm picked me up and hurried me to his home to lay me down on his couch, everyone was there making sure i was okay,

“Do you want me to read the letter to you?” Helm had asked me, I was still feeling a stabbing pain in my chest in stomach, i turned on my side and curled up in a ball, shaking my head no,

“Just,,, just,, please,leave it on the table, i will read it once,, im able to,

Cindy pov

I don't know why she did this. She broke our sister's bond. Why? Mariah came with Connys ring and a letter. I was in too much pain to read it right now. I knew once I felt better I would be able to read the letter. After a few hours of sleep. The pain was gone. I woke still on the couch, I sat up and saw Helm in the chair beside me. He was pretending to read. But I knew he was waiting for me to wake up. I saw the ring on top of the letter she had written. I was not ready for that thing. I was to upset with her,

"Just read it. You will understand why she had to do it." My wolf Itsy had said."

"what if she hates me, that's the reason why she broke our bond?"

"She doesn't hate us Cindy, just read it you will see." I knew Itsy was right. I sat up to grab the ring and letter. I placed the ring on the same finger as the one I was wearing. I opened the letter and started to read it.

"Dear Cindy,

By now you are done with the pain of me breaking our bond. I am feeling it as well. I'm not dead, I had to leave. It was the only way to keep you safe, if he knew I was still alive he would find every way to hunt me down and hurt you. I will be alright. When I get to where I am going I will reach out to you please don't try and find me. You won't be able to.You see Reid had put a tracker in my skin. I found it and took it out. Once I was there. I tossed it as far away as I could. He might even think I'm dead now. Please be safe my dear sister.. You will always be in my heart. I must go. You will hear from me again one day

I read the letter several times before I placed it in the fireplace and lit it on fire. I knew if I didn't. Someone would come and find it. I had no choice. I set back, I had to try and mindlink her, I wasn't even sure she would get it, but I had to try.

"Conny, when you get to where you are going, find some way to reach out to me, I love you my sister." When I was done my eyes went back k to normal, Helm was sitting next to me, I laid my head on his arm as he held me, I really hope I hear from her soon. She's the only family I have left. Somehow I knew it wouldn't reach hersonce she broke the bond. I just hope she gets to where she wants to go
