Lily had paced back and forth for a few hours, she had called Alice but she had not picked up any of her calls, which made her panic all the more, even Robin had tried to but for now, Robin had calmed her down but that didn't stop her from worrying, she ha then heard small footsteps at the door, in an instant Lily had leaped up and opened the door in desperation

"Alice?!" she called hopefully but her heart dropped as it wasn't her sister but a strange older woman at the door,

"Hello, may I help you?" Lily asked

"Is this Alice Scott’s house?" she called looking over the place with disappointment

"And you are-"

"Vera Romano, Lucas's mother, and her boss"

Lily had perked up but hearing that it was Lucas’s mother, opening the door for her,

"Um you can come in but my sister isn’t here"

"Clearly," the older woman said rudely as she looked around the house,

Lily had just stepped to the kitchen to get her a glass of water in case she wanted to wait but Vera had her plan as he walked around, looking over their picture and wondering what Alice had over her son, she had then stopped a t a particular picture with the two sisters and their parent in the frame,

Looking over at the two adults who looked so familiar Vera started shaking until she dropped the frame spooking Lily who came out of the kitchen in shock to see Vera frozen like she just saw a ghost a she could smell Vera's scent spike in fear

"Excuse me ma'am are you alright?" she asked cautiously

"i-i have to go" she answered before leaving

Vera rushed back to her car, where her driver was waiting as she was still spooked by the revelation that she had just found out, no wonder their names sounded so familiar from the background check, with rounds of flashbacks bringing back to the accident from years ago,
