I thought the world had stopped revolving. I blinked several times, wondering if this was just a horrible nightmare. “What?” I asked him, staring at Zian.
“He took Archie like this and ran away,” Zian said, showing with his hands how Archie was picked up and swung over the stranger’s shoulder.
My jaw dropped. It was real. The nightmare was real. Someone had taken my pup! But who? The only one who would have a motive was Heath. Did this mean that he infiltrated the pack? But we had taken so many precautions. The patrols were specifically told to be super careful while patrolling the borders. We set up silver fences and didn’t leave the pups alone, even in the pack house. Either one of us or an omega nanny kept an eye on them at all times.
