Kaya’s pov
My heart raced faster than a speeding jet as I sprinted towards the main gate of the hospital. The first person I encountered there was a security guard. He grabbed a stretcher and quickly ran to my assistance when he saw me. Every member of the pack was alerted about Archie’s k********g, so I reckon he knew why I was there. I saw relief wash over his face when he saw Archie in my arms, but his lips pressed into a grim line when he saw that my pup wasn’t moving.
“Put him here, Luna. I will reel him into the emergency room.”
Despite my reluctance to part with my son, I allowed him to take Archie to the emergency room so that doctors could treat him. I provided some basic information and then waited in the waiting area for them to call. Though I had the option, I did not exerc
