Kaya’s pov
Theo's scent overwhelmed my senses no matter how hard I tried to ignore it when I was around him. It took a lot of my strength to stop taking a deep breath, savouring his scent. His aura was just too comforting. I was ashamed to admit it, but being with him gave me a sense of protection. Especially when he did things like cover me with his wolf's body in the woods. I thought it was sweet. When I was around him, I felt like I was home. I knew it was dangerous and that I could easily get trapped in a ruse if I got too close to him. So I kept my distance from him. I still had to work and co-parent with him, so I had to get used to it.
