Chapter One
"Hello, brother," a small girl said. Her white dress flowing around her ankles and she giggles when he looks at her. Walking in front of the male, she continues to smile.
"Who are you? Don't call me brother," he tells her, a frown on his face.
"Let's play a game."
"I'm not interested in childish games."
"Then I'll make you interested..."
"How?"
"You'll see," she says as she starts to fade. "Watch me and brother, watch out."
--
"So you haven't seen her since last night?" a man with brown hair and tanned skin asks, taking a sip of his ice coffee from the bottle he brought from the school's canteen.
"Isn't that what I just said?" his friend asked him, before going back to writing his essay for English class. They had spares first two, he didn't have time to look for his twin sister. "Besides, she's old enough to be going out without permission."
"Your the worst brother and twin, in the history of siblings, Charlie."
"Don't call me Charlie, it's Charles -"
"And what if I do, Charlie."
"f**k you, Diego," Charles told him putting his headphones and ignoring his friend. He didn't have time to waste, so he didn't have the 'luxury' to ague with Diego.
"I went to your house," a female voice said, drawing Diego's attention away from the raven haired male and to the red head in front of him. Taking Charles headphones off his ears, he points to their female friend. Sitting in front of them, she adds, "I didn't see Maddison."
"She went out. I don't know where she's gone," Charles told her and she looks at the tanned male next to him. They had known each other for around six years, ever since Diego's family moved from Mexico to America.
"Maybe she'll be home later, Meleah," Diego said looking at the door, wondering if Maddison would walk in and surprised them. After all, both she and her twin were like that. "Or at least I hope so."
"I made something for you two," she told them while getting two boxes from her bag and handing it to the correct owner. She had to make something different for Diego and Charles, since they had difference things.
Opening the box, Charlies tried to give it back. "I don't eat sweets, Meleah."
"It's not sweet," Meleah tells him opening the box and takes a teddy bear cookie out of it. It was covered in dark chocolate. "I tried to make not as sweet as I could."
Charles only looked at her, as she pushed the biscuit into his face. He frowned when he saw the weird smiling face of the biscuit in front of him.
"Please try one."
"Why does he always have to play hard to get," a male in front of them asked his group. Other students starting to talk about what was going on. After all, barely anything happened. "Does he know that it doesn't look good on guys?"
"Maybe his gay. Don't you think?" another said. "Think we could catch him taking on up the bum?"
"Gross, James."
"Thank you," Diego told him, while ignoring the other students chatter. Somehow James group started to argue if being gay was 'natural'. Charles only looks at the bear, before taking both it and the box. Maddison would like them more then he does, but he already knew that Meleah had made one for his sister.
He muttered to himself when Meleah talks to Diego, he helps her with her Spanish and she helps him with his English tasks. He ignores the two, when they start to talk about something his not interested in.
"This is way I want to graduate."
