I couldn't believe it when I heard Nadine had been seen at the hospital meeting with a doctor. My mind immediately started racing, thinking of all the worst-case scenarios. Was she sick? Injured? What was going on?
The only person I could think of in this situation was Aya, so I decided to talk to her about it. Aya was always kind and loving; I knew she loved her family. This was one of the qualities that always seemed to pull me towards her.
