As Nadine and Edward left Elliot’s house, they thought that they had been able to fool Elliot into believing that their relationship was doing well.
However much to their dismay, Elliot reached his breaking point after seeing how Edward treated Nadine.
Frustration seeped through every word as he dialed his grandfather's number, seeking guidance and understanding.
The seconds stretched on, filled with anticipation, until finally, a heavy sigh echoed through the phone.
"I should have known," Grandfather William lamented, his disappointment palpable.
"Why can't that brat see what's before him?"
