Chapter 12

1385 Words
Mcaiden’s POV I pulled Taleigha’s hand towards the swimming pool area of the mansion. I noticed her grimace as I tightened my grip on her arm, intending to cause her pain. “What, are you really going to ride with me tomorrow on our first day of school?” I asked her. My fist involuntarily clenched. “That really can’t happen, Taleigha. I can’t give you a ride in my car. What would the students think if they saw us entering school together? They might even think you’re my girlfriend, yuck!” I said to her, still trying to contain my anger. It’s annoying. I already told her to do everything to avoid riding with me, but it seems like she really wants to ride with me tomorrow just to feel wealthy. “May idea ako, Sir Mcaiden. I just shook my head. “Anyway, no blaming, Taleigha. I already warned you from the start. You know me. You should be distancing yourself from me, not getting closer. And besides, you shouldn’t have agreed to enroll in that school in the first place. And when my mom and dad said you’d ride with me, you should’ve refused to avoid any problems. “Maybe you’re into me. Maybe you have feelings for me. Maybe you even enjoy it when I bully you because I’m getting closer to you,” I said to her, shrugging. I also noticed her grin, so it seems like my suspicion was correct. “Sir Mcaiden, do you really think I would still develop feelings for you when you're so intense in bullying me? Your suspicion seems somewhat amusing to me now.” It’s impossible for you not to like me. Admit it, the reason you want to follow me to school and ride with me is because you really like me.” ** I have arrived here at the coffee shop where I'm meeting my friends. We talked and decided to go to the mall because we also need to buy our school supplies. “We went to Tokyo with my family before our classes started. I wasn’t active in our group chat because, you know, it was family time,”he replied. “Zeshwan, were you the reason why Taleigha got drunk that night? Is it true that you handed her wine?” I asked him. The truth is, my parents wanted to talk to him. They found out about Taleigha getting drunk because of Zeshawn. Ate Micai told them, so they knew about it. “Because of you, that girl had the courage to insult me that night. “Mcaiden, Taleigha is actually nice. And she looked beautiful that night. I didn’t expect her to look that stunning with makeup and wearing a beautiful gown. It’s not obvious that she’s just a maid in your mansion. Honestly, I feel sorry for her because you’re bullying such a beautiful girl. Maybe you should stop what you’re doing to her, bro, it’s not right to treat women like that,” he said, which I just laughed off. “Ah, it seems like what she also told me that night is coming true. She mentioned that someone would defend her, and she said it would be you. It seems true. Is it true? Will you defend that girl against me, Zeshawn?” I asked him while giving him a sharp look. “Damn it, Zeshawn, I’m already sick and tired of the lectures at home from my parents, and now you’re adding to it. And karma? Come on, that’s not real. You believe in such things. Plus, you just don’t get it. Don’t you know it’s fun to bully weak people? Seeing them frustrated and even crying, it feels great. It’s liberating from boredom,”sagot ko sa kaniya. Of all the things he said, that’s the one thing that could never happen. Taleigha, bullying me? It will never happen in my life. Never.
