"That's why you keep going back right? Is she good in bed? Does she treat you better than I do?"
"Athena----" I took a step towards her but she took a step back wiping her tears, saying,
"Choose Indigo, Either you continue dicking that girl or stay with me and make love to only me!"
"I need her powers, Athena. You know dad----"
"Bullshit! Full of excuses. It seems you've made your choice! You can go to her I don't care! Don't contact me ever again!" she huffed turned around and walked out of my house leaving me standing there like a statue,
What just happened?
No wait ---- I can't lose Athena--- she's the only one who can help me take Zoey's powers and use them to free dad!
Ignoring the pain, I ran after her and thankfully caught up to her
"I want you and only you!" Without giving her a chance to respond, I pulling her closer to me and in just a few seconds my mouth was already on hers, exploring her.
The kiss began to heat up but she pulled away saying,
"You need to go back inside you are injured,"
"You are my cure," I said about to kiss her again but she pushed me off leading me to the house.
She tucked me into bed and said, "get some rest and fully recover,"
She was about to go but I pulled her closer to me and she fell on top of me,
"I love you so much," I said kissing her again and with little me already up and activate, I pulled on the dress she was wearing suggesting that I wanted her.
"But Indigo
you are hurt," she murmured in the kiss but I wasn't having it, I was already hot and ready and without a second thought I ripped her clothes apart pushing inside of her while she mourned out my name.
I continued pushing in and put of her but even though she was good, something was missing, I didn't feel the same deep pleasure I felt with Zoey, Athena was good but for some reason I was craving --- Zoey!
"Why did you stop," she asked looking at me
"It's nothing my love," I said and continued lavishing her while making a mental note to visit Zoey as soon as I finished here.
*Zoey pov**
"Mom!" I said crying even harder the moment mom walked into the room
"Raima? What are you doing here and---" Queen Kaira let go of me as mom wrapped her arms around me in a comforting embrace.
"Oh my baby I'm soo sorry that I wasn't here to take care of you," mom said tears flowing from her eyes.
"It was my mate mom, he did this to me he he even --" I couldn't finish as sobs escaped my lips while mom froze in my arms.
She let go of me and looked at the queen who nodded her head
I removed the blanket that covered my shoulder and showed her the large tattoo looking bite mark that was there
She gasped in horror, her eyes
wide open.
"Oh my baby, why would he do this to you," mom asked and all I did was shake my head saying
"I don't know,"
Mom didn't say anything else after that and instead helped me shower while the Queen just stood there as usual, looking helpless.
After I was done cleaning up, we walked into the room and there was no one there, everyone was gone
I got dressed and lay on the bed with mom laying next to me
"I'm not going to leave you again okay," she said kissing my forehead while I hugged her tightly,
"I will just leave you to," the queen was about to leave but mom stopped her saying,
"No stay, Zoey is your daughter, you need to bond with her,"
I wanted to disagree but let it be and before I knew it sleep caught up to me.
"Zoey, Zara there is something we have to tell you. We are not your real parents!" Dad spoke staring at me and Zara.
"What?" I asked looking at mom's glassy looking eyes and I knew it was true.
"Yes honey, your real parents are my brother Kaden and his wife Kaira, You, Zara and Zane are triplets," mom added wiping away a lone tear.
"we are?" I asked covering my mouth in shock, this all made sense now, no wonder the queen called every day and why they visited every month.
The scenary changed and I was in a room, it was dark cold and smelled like rogue blood.
"Zoey," I heard a voice say, I looked around trying to pinpoint where the voice was coming from only to be met with red eyes.
"No!" I screamed so loud running to I don't even know where until----
A sharp pain coursed throw my lower abdomen, forcing me to open my eyes.
It was just a dream.
"Hey you okay?" The queen asked.
I nodded my head sitting up but winced when I felt the same sharp pain again, I instinctively placed my hand on my stomach tightly closing my eyes.
"Zoey what's wrong?" mom asked placing her hand on my forehead, "You are burning up, Kaira call the doctor," she said and the queen took out her phone
Another sharp pain hit me with full force and I let out a scream curling myself into a bowl, writhering in pain,
"Zoey," I heard mom say while ordering queen kaira to hurry.
"My stomach hurts real bad," I spoke in the midist of the pain which kept increasing.
It felt like I was being cut in half and at the same time, being burnt alive. My skin felt like I was being poked with tiny little lava hot needles all over.
"I think she's going into heat," the queen said.
Heat? No I can't go into heat, not when I don't even have a mate whom I like.
"Heat? But she hasn't shifted yet! Maybe she's shifting!" Mom said
"No if she was then we could have heard bones breaking!"
I tuned out the two women and focused on the intense pain that shifted from my lower abdomen to my chest.
The air around me began diminishing and it felt like my nose was blocked, I couldn't breath.
"She's having a panic attack!" I heard someone say but I couldn't make out the owner of the voice.
"I can't breath," I whispered gasping for breath until I felt warm hands being placed on either side of my face,
"Open your eyes," the person ordered and I instinctively did as told.
I could tell someone was right infront of me, looking at me but I couldn't make out the person, my vision was blurry.
"Look into my eyes," the person ordered again, I gasped for non existent air while blinking rapidly so that I could see the person but no matter how much I tired I couldn't see.
Another scream erupted from my lips as the pain multiplied ten fold and the person who was holding me let go.
I screamed again hugging myself tightly until ---- like a snap of the finger, all the pain I was feeling completely vanished like it never even existed.
I took in a deep breath, fluttering my eyes open wondering what just happened and why I'm suddenly feeling all better only to see aunt Melissa holding my hand while breathing heavily with beads of sweat adorning her perfectly clear forehead. She had her eyes closed.
"Aunt?" I whispered, she opened her eyes and gave me a weak smile, blood trickling down her nose.
"She's bleeding, Mel --," Queen Kaira gave her a worried look while mom took the box of tissues that was on the bedside table, placing them on her (aunt Melissa's) nose.
A gasp escaped aunt Melissa's lips and she closed her eyes again, letting go of my hand.
"Her mate is cheating on her," aunt Melissa said.
Neither mom nor queen Kaira looked suprised, it's like they knew he was cheating.
"How are you feeling?" the queen instead asked her.
"Not good it hurts so bad,"
"Oh Mel," the queen hugged aunt melissa and I just looked on wondering how she was able to take the pain away and most importantly why she would choose to take my burden away and let herself suffer.
"Why did you do it?" I whispered looking at her and she looked at me
"I couldn't just sit and watch you suffer, you are like a daughter to me," she explained
I couldn't help but be grateful, she was indeed a nice person.

"What are we going to do, I mean if he can cheat now I'm sure he will do it again," mom asked
Aunt melissa was back to normal, nolonger feeling the pain.
"There is only one solution," Queen kaira said looking at mom, "To break the mate bond,"
