chapter six: I don't like her

***Zane***

I watched as Zoey ran up the stairs while uncle told aunt to let her be.

Zara and Breana stayed back too but I didn't want her to be left alone so I followed her up the stairs.

"Zoey," I knocked on the door waiting for a few minutes but there was no response.

"Zoey can we talk? I know you are fond of aunt Melissa and you blame us for everything but I really want to talk to you," I said but again silence.

"Zoey," I knocked on the door again but still silence.

I let out a sigh walking away but stopped in my tracks feeling a sense of dread,

something isn't right.

I went back to the door and knocked again but silence

What if -- what if she tried to hurt herself?

No she's probably sleeping.

'Maybe I should just check up on her to make sure that she's okay'

I slowly opened the door and that's when I heard her pleading and a man on top of her.

Rage filled me up and without a second thought I rushed in punching and hitting the man for laying his hands on her but he disappeared in a dark mist.

Zoey even wanted to commit suicide but thankfully, my healing abilities kicked in and I repaired her wrist.

I looked at her and her eyes weren't the same happy and bright eyes that I used to see each time I visited Italy but these ones where just dull and lifeless,

She stood up not even caring about the fact that she was naked and I looked the other way not willing to see my sister naked, I mean we were werewolves and it was normal to see people naked but my sister deserved some privacy.

Mom quickly covered her up with a blanket and they both went into the bathroom while I just stood there watching.

Zara was crying her eyes out, dad was pacing around pulling his hair while aunt Melissa was talking on phone I wondered who she was talking to

She hung up the call and a few seconds later, uncle Hugo and aunt Raima appeared in the room.

I wasn't even creeped out because we had two people in our family who could teleport,

Uncle Hugo, and aunt Melissa.

We were used to them popping up out of nowhere and it wasn't even a surprise to see them here.

"What happened? Where is she?" aunt Raima asked aunt Melissa who pointed to the bathroom.

Aunt Raima ran to the bathroom while my dad gave aunt murderous looks.

Aunt Melissa just gave him a sheepish smile but dad wasn't having it, he dangerously growled stalking towards her.

Uncle Dean quickly stood infront of aunt Melissa shielding her and giving dad a challenging look.

"I made an order that these two should never step foot into this house so then why the f**k did your mate call them here!" dad growled staring at uncle Dean.

"calm down Kaden--" uncle tried to calm him but all my dad did was growl.

He was about to grab aunt Melissa's hand but the later swatted his hand away.

"You do not get to tell me what I can and can't do you are not the boss of me!" she shot back.

"I'm the king your alpha you have to respect my word!"

"And I am the queen of Atlantis you do not have the right to order me around!" she stated, challengingly standing infront of him.

She looked so small and dad was so huge yet she was confidently defiling him? Aunt was something else.

"You---" dad was about to say something but aunt growing saying,

"We are not going to fight about this in front of the kids so just keep quiet okay,"

Dad growled at her and she did the same with her hands crossed infront of her chest.

"Melissa," we all looked at uncle Hugo as he continued saying, "I think it was a bad idea, we shouldn't have---"

"no no no--" aunt Melissa cut uncle Hugo off.

"You deserve to be here, Zoey needs people she's close to," aunt calmly said while dad just looked at her as if he was planning her murder.

"But Kaden he --," uncle Hugo tried to say but aunt brushed him off saying,

"Oh don't mind him, he's just upset right now, you and Raima are family and I don't care what Kaden says. He can go to hell for all I care," she whispered the last sentence but we all heard it with our werewolf hearing.

"What did you just say?" Dad asked and anyone could tell that he was hella angry and his wolf was on the surface.

"You heard me," aunt who didn't even look scared the slightest bit spoke shrugging her shoulders.

I stood there wondering why she wasn't even scared

Aunt was the only one who never listened or obeyed dad.

"That's enough you two," Grandpa Ryan said but aunt Melissa quickly shook her head saying,

"No uncle, someone needs to tell him, yes he's the king but not of this house, he's the king outside! Just because he's a ruler doesn't mean he gets to dictate who stays in this family or not, I mean I like Raima but I can't even keep contact with her all because he commanded not to and why is that, why can't we communicate with our very own relatives all because he said so? And did you see that, he blames Raima and Hugo for not taking care of Zoey but look, it happened again right under his nose and he---"

"Melissa, enough!" uncle Dean growl staring at her and aunt immediately went mute.

"I will go take a swim," she said walking out of the room while uncle looked at dad saying,

"She's right, you can't punish Raima and Hugo over things they've got no control over,"

Dad just let out a sigh mumbling a "I'm going for a run," and walking out of the room.

"Let's go everyone, Zoey needs some privacy," uncle said again and we all left the room with him and uncle Hugo conversing and talking about what just happened while I silently wished that I didn't let that bastard get away, I should have made sure that I broke one or two of his bones.

**Indigo POV**

"That fucker did a number on me," I winced while nursing my broken nose which was bleeding profusely.

I didn't think that I would get caught today I mean, I'm always careful and very vigilant but

"You couldn't control your demon?" A voice said and I stood up staring at the source but immediately I did that, pain rushed through me and I winced sitting back down holding my bleeding stomach

"Oh my gosh is it that bad?" Athena Gasped rushing towards me and removing my shirt.

I couldn't help but grimace seeing how deep the wound was. Zoey is going to pay for this!

"Why don't you take care of yourself Indigo? What if they killed you," she spoke her voice quivering followed by sniffing and I knew she was crying.

Athena was my best friend and first love.

She was a witch and her father and mine where good friends, fought side by side until twelve years ago, a war occured and that stupid goddess serene with her friend syria Killed her father and imprisoned mine.

They couldn't kill my father because the only tool that was capable of killing a full flesh demon like him was the combination of the hybrid triplet's powers, Zoey, Zane and Zara, the alpha king's kids.

Their powers were capable of killing him but at the same time, they were capable of breaking the prison where he was kept and that's why I badly needed her powers, so that I can free him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked her but all she did was clean my wound and wrap a bandage around my waist.

"Athena," I held her hand forcing her to look at me and her nose was red with her eyes filled with tears.

"You know I don't like seeing tears in your eyes,"

"Well if you don't then why do you always jump into danger! When are you going to stop this? Don't you think you've tortured the poor girl enough, she's your mate Indigo," she said pushing my hand off and cleaning the cut that was on my forehead.

I didn't say anything and instead wondered why my wounds weren't healing fast enough

I mean I was a half demon, half Angel, surely my wounds should heal faster than this!

" I thought the plan was to seduce her then take her powers not break her!" She added once she finished cleaning the wound on my forehead and started working on my nose..

"I'm sorry, I just couldn't control myself, each time I see her my demon side takes over and all he ever wanna do is mate with her," I lied, truth is I didn't lack self control but I just enjoyed it when she cried and begged while I f****d her, it made the whole experience awesome.

You can say I had a fetish of seeing my women crying and begging while I f****d them and Zoey----

Just thinking about her had me becoming hard all over again

" Why can't you just stop seeing her then?" Athena pulled me out of my thoughts and I looked at her

"Athena, we both know that her powers are the only ones that can free Dad, I need to take her powers and ensure that she doesn't stand in the way of the war,"

"She's your mate indigo---"

"I f*****g don't care!" I said feeling a rush of anger inside of me, "The only thing I care about is freeing my father and rulling this land and plus, I already have a woman that I love!"

I snaked my arms around her waist pulling her closer to my chest but she sighed placing her beautiful smooth hands over my chest and pushing me off,

"You are mated now and judging by how different your scent is, I can tell you marked her," she let out a chuckle but there was no humor in it.

"Athena I---"

" Just stay away, it's obvious you are going for her and not me,"

"Bullshit!" I growl pulling her closer to me, "that girl can't be mine, I hate her!"

Lies I didn't hate Zoey not even a little bit, infact I wanted to be seeing her every second!

"Then reject her. Don't touch her again, forget all this and stay with me," she pleaded her glassy green eyes staring deep into mine.

"But I need her powers---" I tried to say but she pushed me off saying,

"There are so many other ways we could take her powers without you even touching her unless-----" she posed her eyes not leaving mine, "You like her don't you?"

"What?" I asked horrified! How did she know??
