"Do it Zoey!" Indiogo yelled while his head was locked under the large dragon's sharp curved talons. He was in a really fatal position such that one wrong move and his head would be squashed like a berry. "No I can't!" I said my hands shaking in fear for his life while holding the orb tightly. Even though I hated him with all my heart, he was still my mate and I couldn't bare the thought of seeing him dead. "Don't worry about me Zoey, just do it!" He harshly spoke again and the dragon squeezed him tighter while looking at me with those deep silver eyes. I didn't know what to do. Both options were fatal, if I didn't destroy the orb, the large Dragon would take it from me and give it to Ceros then the war would happen sooner rather than later but if I destroyed it, his powers would be free and they would find their way back to him, Ceros, the owner, and the war would still happen! "Give it to me girl or he dies!" The dragon sneered but I took a step back holding it tighter while shaking my head. With one ferocious growl, the dragon threw Indiogo across the clearing and he hit himself on a nearby tree which was followed by a sickening snap. I didn't feel the bond break so I knew he was still alive. The dragon flew in the sky then with full speed started dropping and aiming towards me. "Do it Zoey! Destroy the orb!" My wolf Lelia urged, "Destroy it or else it will be too late!" she urged again and I knew what I had to do. ________________________ Hi guys, sorry it took me this long to come up with a chapter.
