Mr. Mystery man

801 Words
The weekend was over and the first thing that came to my mind once I ended up in town was if I were to ever see the mystery man again. Everybody in town was on their nerves about the serial killer going around. Still there were no leads to how this person looked, or where they were last spotted. I was also on my nerves just slightly since people were dying off like flies. No one had any idea as to why the serial killer was targeting the people that it was, but everybody was scared and on edge. Understandably so. I walked over to my class that was starting and I sat down. I sat down and soon after, somebody sat down next to me. I immediately could recognize that smell. It hit me. Mr mystery man. The smell of vanilla and jasmine hit my nose, and I could feel my cheeks grow immediately red. I stared at the screen in front of me, and I tried calming my breathing since I almost sounded like a panting b***h, but soon I heard that familiar and seductive voice. “Fancy seeing you here.” I smiled, looking at him. His perfect face, and perfect black hair that looked messy. “I could say the same for you.” I replied, and he chuckled lowly, his deep laugh giving me butterflies instantly. “Seems that I’ve wondered in the right place then.” He states, and I smile. I immediately felt a sense of happiness knowing that he was with me here, and that I didn’t have to wonder where he was, because instead, he was here with me. “You just disappeared.” I said softly, and suddenly he put his arm behind me, leaning onto my chair, and I couldn’t help but to blush at the fact that his arm was behind me. His arms were long... but so was his whole body. Class started and I couldn’t help but have my mind set on him, and his strong presence around me, and how he made me feel. He made me feel as if I was on cloud nine without even doing anything. For some reason, I felt safe. Safer than I had ever felt in my entire life. I felt untouchable with him at my side. Time went by so fast, and before I even realized it, class was over and I didn’t write anything down, not taking down any notes at all. I was so fixated on him that I wasn’t focusing at all. I sighed when everybody got up, and I got up afterwards, the mystery man getting up behind me and following me out the hall. All the women were staring at him, and I was one of them too. He didn’t seem to even flinch as the girls were practically drooling at him. His eyes didn’t land on one of them. We walked out the building, and he walked me to my car. “I have so many questions about you.” I mumbled, and he looked down at me as his tall frame towered over my small one. “Such as?” He asks, and I sigh, unlocking my car. “Too many to ask here…” I say, hinting for him to ask us to go somewhere more privately, and he smirks slightly. “You don’t have to hint for me to take you out, Luna. I was going to ask you anyway.” He says, and I blush even a deeper red. “I didn’t mean that-“ I mumbled, but he cut me off. “So, you don’t want to come on a date with me then?” He asks, and I shake my head, looking down at the ground, hoping that the embarrassment would just pass. “Of course, I do, but I don’t even know your name. What if you’re the serial killer?” I mumbled, trying to defend my stupidity. “Well, I suppose there’s only one way to find out and that’s if you go out on a date with me.” He says, clearly amused, and I smile. “Seems so…” I mumble. “I will pick you up around 6pm.” He hands me his number, and I smile, taking it. “I will send you my address as soon as I’ve gotten home.” I smile, and he opens the door for me, allowing me to climb in. “Goodbye Luna.” “Goodbye, Mystery man. See you tonight.” I smile, and I drive off. I couldn’t help but to feel a bubbling excitement inside of me. I was going on a date with him. The man that wouldn’t leave my mind, and finally I’m going on a date with him.
