Leviathan’s P.O.V: This weekend proved to be an educational one for me. I learnt how to use a cell phone, and I learned that the witch goes to university. The same university that Luna goes to. The irony. I couldn’t resist but to ask her out, and I couldn’t resist seeing her again. The sooner I could go back to hell, mean the sooner I can go back to normality and forget about her. I hated feeling so vulnerable around her. She made me feel weak, and I wasn’t one for weakness or vulnerability. Why did I ask her out on a date when I’ve never asked anybody out on a date? Why was she so good at making me feel weak? I watched as the time ticked past, and I felt myself grow more and more excited. Pathetic. I have become pathetic. If my father had to find out about what has become of me, he would surely send me to burn in hell for a few decades. I got on clean clothes, as the others were drenched in blood from people I had just slaughtered, and I burned the clothes. She was aware about the serial killer running around town, killing hundreds of innocent humans for ‘no reason,’ so why go out with me? You don’t even know me. I am after all, the mystery man. I am after all, the ‘serial killer’ running around and killing people by the dozens. If she had any idea about who I was, what would she think? She would probably run as fast and far as she could. Nobody wants to be around a ‘serial killer’ that kills people for the fun of it. Although it was partly for my dad, I did get a certain amount of enjoyment out of it. I don’t see the purpose of the human population, other than to act as slaves to us, and to worship us. It was pathetic that I had asked her out. Why couldn’t I have just left her? Life would be so much easier then. I wouldn’t have to worry about anything. I never worried about anything. Now? Now I’m worried about what a human will think about dating a killer. Never mind a killer, but the prince of hell that’s in line to inherit the throne. What was I even thinking? I wasn’t. Oh, but her eyes. Her ice blue eyes drew me in and captivated me. “You’re looking rather handsome. I didn’t know killing was such a precise job that you had to dress all formally. What? Do you have meetings with the people first before taking their souls?” I heard Satan’s voice, and I rolled my eyes. “What are you doing here?” I ask, and I button my black shirt up, looking at myself in the mirror, and Satan laughs, making me roll my eyes. “Father wants to know how far you are. The full moon is in a few days, and he would like an update or to know that you’ve come even a bit far. What do I tell him?” He leans against the door frame, and I sigh heavily. “I will only be able to tell when the full moon nears, when I can smell her. Then I’ll bring her straight to hell. Okay? Tell him to be f*****g patient.” I clench my jaw, and before I could counter it, Satan was in front of me, and I looked at him closely, and he laughed, making me roll my eyes back. “Tell me why you’re dressed so smartly.” He pushes, and I walk past him, walking over to where my car keys were. “It really doesn’t concern you, so mind your own business. I’m not telling you again.” I pushed past him towards the elevator. “Satan, if you even try to follow me, I will hurt you.” I walk into the elevator, pushing the button, and Satan looked at me with a sly smirk on his face, and I felt the urge to rip his throat out. Luna’s P.O.V: I got dressed in a cute little black dress, and I got on a pair of heels that I had just bought. I sighed, looking at myself in the mirror. I looked strange. I never dressed like this usually. I looked pretty. I spent money that I didn’t have on this dress and shoes... I just hope I looked okay in his eyes. My hair was down, and my dress sat perfectly above my knees, the heels putting a few extra inches to my height. I sprayed perfume on, and I got cherry lipstick on. I think I was ready, or so I had hoped. I wanted to be as appealing to him as he is to me. I sent him my location, and I waited around patiently for him, although my heart felt like it would beat out of my chest. My heart wouldn’t stop racing, and what seemed like forever, a black sports car arrived in the front of my house. It looked expensive, and I couldn’t help but to feel slightly embarrassed. He parked the car in front of the door, and he climbed out. He looked drool worthy. He was wearing black suit pants, black shoes, and a long black shirt that had a few buttons on the top unbuttoned, allowing me to see his muscular chest and collarbone. His hair was slightly damp, and messy. Sexily type of messy though. I opened the door, and he walked to me with a red rose in his hand, and he gave it to me. I took it with a blush on my face and he looked me up and down, his eyes analyzing every inch of my body. His eyes darkened, and I couldn’t help but feel my cheeks darken more and have butterflies in my stomach. He made me feel euphoric just by looking at me. Shadow came suddenly running past me to him, and she rubbed herself against his legs. He looked down at her, and he crouched down and started stroking her. Shadow usually kept to herself, for me that was strange. “She likes you.” I stated, and he smiled, petting her gently. His hands were so big. Shadow purred and rubbed herself continuously against him. “Okay girl, we have to get going.” I giggled, picking her up and putting her down onto the bed. “Ready?” I ask him, and he nods. We walk over to his car, and he opens the door for me, and I climb into it. The car smelt of leather and lavender. The car looked brand new, and he climbed in the other side. He started the car, and we began to drive to our destination, wherever that might be. “So, where are we going?” I ask, and he drives out of the driveway. “Somewhere special.” The car ride was silent but peaceful. I felt comfortable in his presence. He had a strange feeling of making me feel safe and protected. “Where do you think we are going?” He asks, his eyes fixed on the road ahead. “I really have no idea.” I smile, and he had a slight smile playing on his lips. The scenery was beautiful. Wherever he was taking me, it was beautiful. I have lived in this town for my whole life, yet I have never seen this area we were in. We were surrounded by long trees. He stopped the car in front of a small wooden cabin that had a handful of cars outside of it. “Where are we?” I asked, and he climbed out, walking around to my side of the car and opening the door for me. I climbed out, his tall figure towering over my small one. “Like I said, somewhere special.” He gestured for me to walk first, and that’s what I did, I walked up the stairs towards the door. The cabin was small, but cute. Before I opened the door, he opened it for me, and I walked inside. I was immediately hit with the smell of good food. I felt hungry just at the smell itself. “Smells good.” I moan, and he looked at me with a slight smirk on his lips. The restaurant was adorable! There were small fairy lights in the room, lighting up the room just perfectly. Not too bright or not too dark. The lighting was perfect. The theme of the restaurant was cottage core, and I really loved the vibes that it gave off. “It’s so beautiful.” I state, and he smiles. “Hi there. Welcome to lakeside. Table for two?” A man asked, holding the menus, and I smiled at him, nodding. He smiled back, and he led us to our tables. Our table was outside on the balcony, and in sight and below us was a massive lake, the moon shining down on the water, lighting everything up. There were trees on either side of the lake. It was breathtaking. The view was just gorgeous, and the lake went on beyond the eyes view, and so did the forest. I was in awe. Mister mystery man pulled out the chair for me, and I sat down. He sat across from me, and I stared at the lake and hoe peaceful everything was. “It’s so beautiful.” I said, and he just stared at me, his eyes never leaving my face, and I couldn’t help but to blush as his eyes burned into me. “It has nothing on you.” He said quietly, and I couldn’t fight the smile that I had at his comment, my face burning red. “That’s a lie.” I mumble, and he chuckles, his deep voice sending butterflies down my body. “I wouldn’t lie about that. You are the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen.” “That’s not true.” I mumble, and he glares at me. His dark eyes sending shivers down my spine. “Don’t argue with me.” “Sorry…” I mumbled softly, and he nods. “Can I take your drinks?” The man asked, and he smiled at us, taking out his notepad, and holding a pen. “I’ll just have an iced water. What would you like to have?” He looks at me, and I smile. “I’ll just have a Pepsi cola please.” I smile, and he nods. “I will give you a few minutes to decide on food.” The waiter smiles and walks off. “So, are you going to tell me your name?” I ask, and he raises his eyebrow. “My name is Levi.” He smiled, flashing his white teeth. The name suited him. Levi the mystery man. “What’s Levi short for?” I ask, and the drinks came and got set on the table. I took a sip of my drink, and the waiter took down our food, leaving again. “It’s short for nothing.” He stated, taking a sip of his iced water. “It’s a really nice name.” “What do you do for work?” I ask. “A bit of everything really. I dabble in everything.” He smiles, and I nod. “Are you going to tell me what?” I ask, and he smirks. “Maybe one day I will.” I roll my eyes. What’s with all the secrets? “What do you do?” “I work at the vet and at the rescue shelter.” “Sounds like you are busy.” He says, and I nod. “Whatever pays the bills.” He didn’t seem to have a problem with money, so I don’t think he relates to my problems. “How old are you?” He asks. “Twenty-two. And you?” “Much older than you.” He smirks, and I raise my eyebrow. “How much?” “I am twenty-six.” “You aren’t that much older, silly.” I giggle, and he looks at me clearly amused. “I am quite much older actually.” He says as matter of factly, making me roll my eyes. “Sure.” I say, and he smiles. We both finish our food, and I can’t get over the moon and how beautiful it is. “This view is just something out of this world.” I sigh, and he hums. “I completely agree.” He takes a sip of his water, and I blush, noticing him staring only at me. He seemed oblivious to the view, rather drinking me in. His eyes never left mine as he watched me carefully, watching everything I do. He seemed almost curious… I felt a headache start to appear, and I rubbed the side of my head. “Feeling alright?” He asked, and I nodded my head. “I am okay, thank you. Just got a headache starting.” I wasn’t one for headaches, but I seemed to have a rather big one starting. “Do you usually get headaches?” He asks, and I shake my head. “Not really. It's probably nothing.” I smile, and he nods. “As long as you are sure.” “I am, thank you.” The waiter comes and brings our bill. I reach out to pay it, but Levi takes it, putting cash down on the table, tipping the waiter and he nods. “Thank you for the food.” I wave the waiter goodbye, and I take in the view one last time, and then walk out the restaurant with Levi. I was stuffed. “Thank you for tonight, Levi. It was amazing.” I smile, and he opens the car door for me. “It is my pleasure. I hope that it was tolerable.” He says, and I giggle, climbing in the car. He climbed in the driver seat, and he starts the car, and we begin to drive off. “It was more than just tolerable, thank you.” I say, and he smiles. “I am happy that it was alright then.” We drive home, and the scenery is just to die for. The trees covered the road with their shadows. The forest on either side of us was dreamy. The moonlight shining through the trees had to be something out of a movie. “It’s really beautiful here.” I say, breaking the silence, and he glances outside the window, and he stays silent. He is a quiet guy. He is mysterious. Leviathans P.O.V: What would be more beautiful than her? Nothing. Her beauty scared me. She is enchanting. Drop-dead gorgeous and, in fact, heavenly. She could be an angel. “It is pretty.” I hum, and I glance at her, and she looks a bit taken back, but blushes. I can’t be doing this. I know that this is wrong, and I know that it also isn’t possible. I had to put an end to this. I had to forget about her. God, I wish I could just forget about her. I needed to, but I didn’t know how I was going to do that. Silence consumed the car, and I drank in her presence. I stopped at her cottage, and before she could get out, I opened her car door for her. She climbed out, and she fiddled with her house keys. I waited for her to go inside, and she put her lights on in her cottage. “Thank you again for tonight.” She smiled, her cheeks a bright shade of red. “Thank you, sweetheart.” I couldn’t help but let the last word slip, and she blushed more red. “I’m hoping this won’t be our last.” She says, her cheeks practically glowing. “There is no chance that you will get rid of me that fast.” “I wouldn’t want to get rid of you anyway.” She mumbled and I smirked. “That pleases me. Have a lovely night, Luna.” I take her hand gently, feeling her soft warm skin under my touch. Just the feeling of her hand in mine sent sparks up my body. She is different. Special. Incomparable to anything. I kissed her hand, and she tensed up of the feel of my lips on her skin. She was nervous, I could feel her shaking under my touch. “Sweet dreams Levi.” She mumbled, her voice shaky. “Thank you.” I walk to my car, climbing inside. I waited for her to lock up before I drove off. I headed back to the hotel, her never leaving my thoughts. I walked upstairs and reached my room, walking inside. I already knew what was waiting for me inside. I opened the door, and I walked inside. “What is it, Satan?” I asked, feeling annoyed by his constant presence. “Succubus has been asking for you. Your wedding date has been made and our father is adamant that you will be marrying her.” Satan says, and he crosses his arms, revealing himself out of the shadows. His horns were still to be seen, his wings out as well. “I don’t know how many f*****g times I must tell our father or that dumb w***e Succubus, that I will not be marrying her. Now or ever.” I roll my eyes, and Satan growls, grabbing me by my arm. I turned to look at him, and he clenches his jaw. “How could you do that? You know how much I like her!” He shouts, and I grab him by his arm, pushing him against the wall. “I don’t f*****g care about her. I never did. She isn’t meant for anyone but herself. I refuse to be wed to that creature.” I snapped, and Satan sighed. “And if you dare take your anger out on me again, I will snap your neck.” I clenched my jaw, and he got up, looking at me with sad pathetic eyes. “Grow the f**k up and stop boring me about Succubus. The only f*****g time you come to me is to cry over that pathetic creature. I don’t have time to listen to anything concerning that thing.” I roll my eyes, grabbing a glass of alcohol. “You’re a heartless motherfucker, Levi.” He shouts, and he disappears into the portal, back to hell. Leaving me in peace and quiet. I had to find that witch so that I could be rid of that thing, once and for all. Hideous creature. I wanted her out of my life once and for all. My father would not give up. I wish he f*****g would. My time was running up. I needed to find that witch soon. Regardless of if I find her or not, I refuse to be married to that creature.
