Theo’s P.O.V.

How dare he try to harm her? I was way beyond of angry. She was shivering like a leaf and it infuriated me more.  I doesn’t matter what I feel towards her but right now she was my employee and it was my duty to ensure her safety.

She was shivering and her breathing was not even. I was worried for her. She was becoming pale. She was still holding my shirt like her life depended on it.

“Hey… Maggi… everything is alright. You are safe”, I whispered in a soothing voice to her. I wanted her to ensure her safety. Her condition is making me hell worried for her.

On our way towards the elevator, the lady who was sitting behind the cubicle in front of elevator looked at us in confusion. Maggi was now breathing heavily. I didn’t what was happening with her.

The lady immediately came towards us and Maggi collapsed suddenly. I was holding her securely and it avoided her to fall down on the floor. She got limb in my arms and I was scared now.

“Maggi…. Maggi”, I yelled her name but she was breathing hard and was looking so pale.

“She is having an anxiety attack, Sir. Please make her sit here”, the lady said to me hurriedly and motioned me to let Maggi sit on her seat.

I swoop her in bridal style and went behind the cubicle. Maggi refused to leave my shirt and I didn’t mind it all. Her wellness was my primary concern now.

I put down Maggi on the chair but she didn’t lose her grip on my shirt. Now I was leaning on her. The lady gave me a glass of water and I asked Maggi to drink the water, “Maggi… calm down… here…. Take a sip please”. I put the glass on her lips and she tried to take a sip but spitted out the whole water on my neck while coughing hard.

At the same time, all the person from the meeting room came out and all of them surrounded the cubicle.

“You need to take her the hospital immediately, Sir. She is suffocating”, the lady said again and I looked at that b*****d CEO in anger who was looking pale in shock right now.

I called my driver immediately and instructed him to bring the car at the front of the building.

I once again took her in bridal style and she rested her head on my chest. I felt her breathing becoming shallow that made me scared badly.

“Now… you better be ready for the consequences”, I threatened him again while going back to the elevator.

“Elevator is not a good option for her right now, Sir. But, considering the height of the building, you need to take this risk”, the lady told me with worry in her voice. I nodded and went inside the elevator.

“If he fired you, you are more than welcome in my office any time”, I said to her before closing the door.

Maggi has closed her eyes and my heart was beating like a s**t.

“Please… please… calm down Maggi… For my sake… please… calm down”, I was never so scared throughout my life. I held her firmly in my embrace and eagerly awaited the elevator to stop.

As soon as the elevator opened I stormed outside. All the person in the way looked at me weirdly but I ignored everyone gaze.  I saw Aiden with the driver. I had called him in between our meeting. I had another meeting post lunch and Aiden was supposed to accompany me in that meeting.

He looked at me worriedly and instantly opened the back door. I placed Maggi gently and securely on the seat and sat beside her.

“Gather all the things from their meeting room and meet me at the hospital”, I instructed Aiden and he nodded. “And you know how to deal with these pathetic b*****ds”, I instructed him again and then closed the door. The driver instantly hit the gas paddle. I don’t need to tell him where to go now. I knew that Aiden understood what I wanted to tell him. If they would try to mess with him, that would be their doom.

Aiden’s P.O.V.

I was shocked to see Theo running towards the car like crazy holding Maggi in his embrace. I immediately opened the back seat. I was concerned what had happened with her.

Gather all the things from their meeting room and meet me at the hospital”, Theo instructed me and I could sense the coldness of his voice. They had done something really wrong. I nodded and was about to turn when I heard him again, “And you know how to deal with these pathetic b*****ds”. Now, I knew how to deal with them.

Theo closed the door and the car instantly ran on the road. I stormed straight towards the reception area.

“Where is your meeting room?” I asked in a rude tone to the receptionist sitting there.

She hesitated a little bit and then asked me in a polite tone, “Do you have any appointment, Sir”.

I said to her in an irritating voice, “I don’t give a f**k about the appointment. My boss left his things in that meeting room. You can ask anyone right now and tell me where is the room?”. I knew that I was too harsh right now and it was not her fault but Maggi’s unconscious state made my blood boils.

Theo cared for his each and every staff. I never encouraged bullying and abuse at the job front.  There is a strict policy against bullying and any kind of abusive behavior. He was might be strict and ruthless but still very concerned with safety and security of his staff and it was Maggi who was hurt today. So, no mercy for them now.

“Excuse me, Sir”, he came out of his trance when the receptionist called him.

He looked at her and she passed a small nervous smile. “The meeting room is on the top floor. You can use that elevator”, she pointed out in the specific direction and I nodded.

“Ms. Nia will be there waiting for you”, she told me further and I went to the elevator.

When I reached at the top, I saw a lady standing in front of elevator. “Ms. Nia”, I asked her and she greeted me with a nervous smile.

“I am PA of Mr. Theo Turner. He had a meeting here a few moment before and he left all the things here. I am here to collect all the things including his associate Ms. Maggi’s clutch and her folders”, I introduced myself and told her my purpose to be here.

“If your CEO thinks that he could ruin my reputation then told him that he will make himself a joke when he let out the word out that I made his associate faint in fear”, suddenly a man came out from one of the room and said to me in a threatening voice. So, it was him who was responsible for her condition. I took a long breath to calm myself down before saying anything to him.

“I beg your pardon, Sir but you should think before speak”, I politely said to him and he shot daggers on me.

“First of all, you scared a woman during an official meeting so badly that deteriorated her health instantly that is against the law specifically written for the working woman. It can be considered as an abuse to her and you know very well about the legal punishment for this”, I stated the fact and his jaws hit the floor. He looked at me with wide eyes.

“Secondly, you didn’t supply her basic medical aid when she got fainted in your office premises during official hours. Once this news gets out, you know better than me how this kinds of news spreads like a fire in the forest and now you can assume how much it effects yours and your company reputation that is already set as a defaulter”, I told him in a calm tone and saw Ms. Nia bring all the stuff I needed to gathered from here. He was staring me at without blinking his eyes. I was calm and composed.

“You are trying to scare me?” he accused me and I chuckled while mouthed thank you to her.

“No, Mr. Campbell. I am just the PA of him. How can I threaten a tycoon like you. But….”, I stopped a little and then spoke again. “You angered a sleeping tiger who loved his employees like his family members and you messed with his family”, I was standing in front of him talking with him while looking straight into his eyes.

I saw fear and guilt in his eyes and I smirked internally. He should scare of Mr. Turner now.

“As he already told you, Sir…. Ready for the consequences”, I said to him while entering the elevator. I looked at Nia and she mouthed sorry to me. Her eyes were sad and I could say that he has more sensible staff than him. I gave her a small smile.
