Chapter Nine  'RYAN, FOR f***s SAKE, PICK UP YOUR CRAP!!!' Thank you, Bryce, for that lovely wake up call. Groaning, I turned over and looked at the clock. It was only 7.30 . AM!! Oh man. 'Happy Birthday'. I shot up and looked over at the door. Chris was stood there, leaning against it, arms crossed, sexy smile, with nothing but jeans on. 'Thanks'. I mumbled, throwing the covers back, I got out of bed and made my way to the window, opening it, every one was in the back garden. 'Well, good morning every one!!' I yelled for no reason at all. I was just so happy today. They all looked up. 'Hey, Happy Birthday!' Uncle Ryan shouted up. I smiled back. Every  one went back to doing whatever they were doing before and laughing. It wasn't warm or a nice day, but it wasn't that bad either. 'Are you still mad about Janet?' I jumped, not realising he was so close to me. He ran the tips of his fingers up to the bottom of my neck all the way down to the dip in my back. 'Chris, don't touch me!' I shrugged his hand off and looked back down into the garden. 'Don't be like that. I told you that this doesn't mean any thing. She's only here because she has to be'. 'But why?' 'It doesn't matter why'. He crept his arm around my sides and down my stomach before resting them on my hips and putting his chin on my shoulder. I was trying so hard not to look at him from the corner of my eye but that was made harder at the fact I knew he was looking at me. 'No, you are right'. I turned around in his arms, looking up at him. He smiled down at me, taking my chin in his fingers, tilting my face up. 'It doesn't matter why she's here'. He smiled and nodded. 'See'. He moved his face closer to mine, but, at the last possible moment, I moved mine away. 'Because, at the end of the day, she's still your wife' His smile faded and his hand dropped from my face. 'Do you get it now?' 'Yeah, perfectly!' He pushed me away from him and stormed out my room, slamming it loudly behind him. I huffed and walked over to the closet, grabbing some jeans, a plain white top, underwear, Chucks and my Drop Dead Kitty Brains jacket before leaving my room and heading to the bath room. 'Oh, Hello Tracy. Happy Birthday'. I rolled my eyes and turned. 'Thanks Janet' Was all I said as I walked into the bath room and slammed the door shut in her face. After a shower and getting dressed, Finishing the last few touch's with my hair and make up, I made my way back to my room. I slammed my door loudly and started to get angry again. 'What the HELL are doing in here!?!' 'Please, sweetie, We own this house' She smiled in a b***h-y way. 'Its Chris' house Honey, not yours'. I told her in a fake sweet tone. Her smug smile faded and was soon replaced by a pissed off look. 'Is there something you wanted?' 'Yes, actually, there was some thing. Are you stupid or just choosing to be?' 'Excuse me?' 'I told you to stay away from Chris, but yet, I'm sure I saw you with him this morning?' 'One, He comes to me and Two, The loving wife things a bit played out now. If he wanted you so much, He wouldn't have slept with me, would he?' I decided to rub it in a little. She deserves it. 'Stay the f**k away from him or I swear to god, I'll make your life a living hell! Got it?' I didn't answer. 'Good'. With that she walked passed me, banging my shoulder slightly and walked out my room. 'What  ever'. I went over to make my bed before also leaving and heading down  stairs to every one.  I could hear them in the kitchen. Typical, Sue, she's probably been up for hours making every one breakfast. She's the best. 'Morning all'. I greeted them, looking around the room, every one all looked like one big happy in love group of people. Uncle Ryan and Amber, Kayla and Bryce, Sue and Don......Chris and Janet7. I was, to tell you the truth really upset to see them all like that. 'Morning'.  'Hey'. 'Happy Birthday'. 'Morning Honey'. Every one greeted back. I smiled in return and went to sit between Ian and Rob, and as far away from Chris as I could possibly get. 'Hey guys' They smiled and carried on eating breakfast. 'So, what are your plans for today?' Sue asked me. I shrugged. 'Um...Don't know'. 'We could go shopping? ' Amber suggested. I shrugged again. 'Oh come on Tracy, It's your birthday. Make a wish and all.' I looked up at her. 'Need candles to make a wish babe'. I told her. She playfully rolled her eyes. 'Come on. What is the one thing you want for your birthday?' I sighed. 'To be with the people I love'. They all Awww'ed 'Who?...Like your family?' Kay asked. I looked around at every one, who were now looking at me, before making eye contact with Chris. He locked eyes with me. I was letting him know I meant him, and he knew that before I looked away again. 'Oh, um..yeah. Totally'. She smiled. 'Hey, let's go out'. The girls grinned and all of us, including Sue, left to go shopping. It was girls only, but we made it perfectly clear that Janet wasn't invited.  Funny enough, Even Sue did as well. I guess she doesn't like Son's Wife either. Did any one? It WAS my birthday, and I was going to spend it with the people I actually liked. And at least Chris knows how I feel now.
