6 Today, Kai was posting the results of the auditions on a community bulletin board at the cafe entry, so Marina expected a crowd at the cafe. Wearing a glittery red sweater and waving a list, Kai made her way across the dining patio. “The results are in.” As her sister tacked the list on the board, Marina tried to peer over her shoulder, but Kai had a height advantage.
