58 I'll just have to set my mind to believe that's not that hard. There's also a saying that quotes 'You only reap failure if you aim for failure'. So for this, I'll just have to aim to finish this early. Thankfully, there isn't a lot for me to proofread. I just have to scan the words, underline some sentences and come up with an alternate word for it and that's basically it. The rest of the day goes by with concentration filling each aspect of the room. I found myself concentrating and invested in the papers in from of me. Almost to the point, it felt like any other day when Abel and I used to stay in the living room working on our school home works. Even Abel appeared ten times more focused on the papers he was working on. The tension had decreased and so has my annoyance level. I guess this is why he forces himself to work. Somehow getting yourself cooped up with a lot of tasks can make you forget about your surrounding as you're too busy keeping your head focused on one thing. The sight was splendid while it lasted. Because it doesn't tale long before little twinkling stars begin to shin faintly above the sky. I managed to finish all my remaining tasks on time. As I'm arranging the papers I had worked on, the man suddenly moves his seat to the side and stands up. He walks over to a shelf and slides in a file before turning around to face me, eyes checking the watch on his wrist for the time. My chest heaves up and down and I release a big puff of air from my mouth. He's not gonna order me to do something right now, right? I really hope not. I really have to get going now. Work time's literally almost over and I've already completed all of the tasks he gave me. His eyes flicker to collide with mine and I find myself fixing my posture, straightening my bag, and clasping my fingers in front of me. "Are you expected to be somewhere today?" Uh?
