Why on earth was I doing a janitor's job? There's not a single room, floor, and roof I haven't stepped on at least once today. I think I've made eye contact with almost all the people working under this roof. Abel also had me check up on and every employee - in a secretive manner - and update him later on about their hygiene. Are their working area clean? Are they organized? Do they cover their mouth when they sneeze and many more ridiculous kinds of stuff? When those words slipped off his lips, I was so tempted to ask whether he had turned paranoid or is just being plain annoying. Given my position, obviously I had no choice but to do my job and see them through. Even Sarah came up with a ridiculous conclusion and assumes I was actually searching for a hidden treasure. A hidden treasure in this office? Come on. I probably looked like an i***t to a lot of workers today. It's a thought that's been weighing me down the whole day. Eventually, it reached a point where I just wanted to take off my heels and toss them in the garbage bin. And while I'm at it, I even thought about dumping my considerate boss as well. The only positive thing I saw today was the fact that I didn't sweat. Then again, who would? My multiple visits to Abel's office always cooled me down. Did I forget to mention that his office's as cold as the north pole? It's unbelievable. No matter how annoyed or angry I am, It's always a wise choice to remain calm. Or at least force yourself to remain calm.
