The van enters a huge metallic gate that just opened on it own and rounds a fountain before stopping in front a huge house. Correction. This is not a house. It's a mansion.
Little fingers wrap themselves around my hand, ushering me to follow their lead.
The vehicle slides open to reveal Mark rubbing his eyes as if he had just woken up. I'm not sure. I was too busy entertaining my brothers to even spare the rest of the people a glance. It showers me with a satisfactory feeling knowing I've finally connected with my brothers after so long.
Nathan still watches his words though but the little one's a whole different story. Still, I'm glad there's progress.
Father runs straight to the back of the van to take my suitcases out with the help of Mark.
I follow the baby out of the vehicle, crouching to easily have him drag me by the hand. Nathan isn't far behind us.
The structure of this building's so huge it's overwhelming. The more I stare like an i***t, the more I feel like I'm an ant looking up at an adult human.
I've always known my parents were well of but it never crossed my mind they'd own a house as big as this. Or a lot that's probably the sizs of an island. Perhaps I'm overreacting but it does look like it. I heard there's a garden somewhere around here with a swing. I'll try finding it later.
"Noona's sleeping with me today."
"No she isn't." Clever halts momentarily beside the entrance of the house to glare at Nathan.
"Yes she is."
"No she isn't. You're gonna keep her up all night."
"B-but noon-"
I wonder if these two take bickering as some kind of hobby. The last hours I've been conversing with them made me notice they tend to do that lot.
Father ends up swooping Clever up in his arms with an airplane sound and his fingers naturally leaves mine. "Do you want to fly? Let's fly like superman!"
As if it was a well thought out plan, mother calmly leads me in while Clevers distracted.
She gives me a little tour of the house before stopping in front of a pink door somewhere on the second floor. I pray that room isn't mine. Since we're already here, where exactly is the living room again?
"The boys room's just across yours, honey."
Oh.
So it's confirmed. They decided the color of the room should be based by the stereotype that pink is the color for girls. I don't know if I want to cry or laugh at my unfortunate soul.
I should be grateful I have a place to sleep in but still. I bite my lip ok contemplation. I guess I'll give it a month and then ask if I can change it.
As expected from the impression the pink door gave, when mother swings it open, it reveals a pink themed bedroom. a
Too many pink for my eyes to handle. It's not that I hate color pink in general. It's just that society makes me dislike it when they think pink should be a girl's color.
The space's oddly big it can fit ten people. I have my own TV screen facing the bed, a little desk on the side and a balcony behind the glass door.
"You're probably tired, honey. Get some rest okay?" Mother plants a gently kiss on my forehead before walking out of the room. I plop on my bed facing the ceiling and release a sigh.
I guess this is it. l
This isn't a dream and I'm finally here.
I'm so tired. Mother's right. I should get some sleep. But before I can do that, a little figure snakes himself inside my bedroom with a giggle.
"Noona! Noona! Noona!"
So much for getting some rest. I should've known better. I don't want to get up. So I just turn to my side and face the baby while laying down.
"Yes?"
Clever cutely tilts his head like he's wondering. He's already taken his pink sweatshirt off leaving the white tshirt on.
"Are you sleeping?"
"Yes. I sleep with my eyes open."
I should probably just kill myself right? That statement slipped before I could even stop it.
Like a switch, Clever's eyes brightens up and he begins running like naruto around my room all the while making weird siren noise.
"Noona look! I'm flying!"
After that he helps himself up in this ginormous bed and crawls towards my drowsy self. I'm actually this close to falling asleep.
"Is Noona sleeping?"
When I don't say anything, the bed sheet shuffles from a motion. Clever lays down beside me and I naturally find myself wrapping my arms around him.
He yawns cutely. "Good night Noona."

It's been a week since Elka left. And it was as if she had disappeared from the face of the earth. They couldn't contact her anymore. Tried tracing her accounts but to no avail. She just wasn't reachable anymore. And it left a huge affect on everyone. Especially Abel.
"He's gone out for a run again."
They were all starting to worry.
It's common for werewolves to miss their mates but he was over doing it by forced exertion. Which isn't good. At this point, both Abel and his wolf could die due to exceeding exhaustion.
The familiar howl echoes through the forest causing the frown on Loona's face to deepen. It's almost scary how he acts so normal in the morning yet grieves on his own during the night. What's worse is that he doesn't even want to talk about it.
Amongst Abel's friends, June was the most calmest one in the situation. Not because he didn't pity their poor friend, but rather, he knew exactly what was happening. He's not sure if they're ready to know about it though.
Loona continues to stare at the window with a stern expression.
Wherever Elka is right now, she could only hope she's feeling his sadness.
