Chapter 7: Finally able to be me

The restaurant was small but busy. As soon as you walked in you could smell the steak like it was grilling in front of you. My wolf started salivating at the thought of the steak and even the shrimp. We didn’t get much steak when we were around Trevor with him making small comments about my weight and red meat adding to it. He always try to replace it with extra salad or veggies. Now all I could think about was watching his face change as I stuff mine with steak, pie, and chocolate cake the next time we eat together. No holding back now.

Bear and Austin made it there first already grabbing us a table. They were both so big I was surprised they were able to fit on one side of the table. They looked like they were about to burst the bench apart. I wonder how I would look between both of them with my plus size body actually looking small against them. Their big hands able to handle each part of me. No, I couldn't think like that.

I shook my head taking the outside part of the bench. Kieran knew I was a bit claustrophobic which made my thoughts of being closed in between these two mystery men even more surprising. "So Austin why do people call you Hawke?" I broke the annoying silence the guys seemed to like. "You jump off a building to try and fly?"

"Luna, would you stop asking questions that might upset them? We need Austins help in case the council..."

I slapped my hand over his mouth and glared at him. "I can handle it with or without him. Plus if we end up needing him I need to know I can trust him. I won't learn that by climbing up his ass with niceness and submission."

I didn’t break eye contact with Kieran until the waitress came and he jerked his eyes toward him. I smirked moving back against the seat. Looking up I caught both Bear and Hawke smirking at me. I felt a rush of heat and a bit of fear. It was like I was prey and they were the predators wanting a piece of me. I couldn't decide if I liked that idea or I wanted to forget this whole thing.

I let the guy’s order first giving each of them a small glare when they tried to get me to order first. I knew what I was ordering and I didn’t want the crap comments to start as they ordered the same damn thing. I knew Kieran wouldn’t say anything about me eating actual food and not rabbit food but these two guys were wild cards. I really didn’t want to smack the s**t out of two huge hotties but if they made one comment I was going to knock some teeth out.

"And you honey?" The waitress smiled at me for a second before flitting her eyes back at the guys. I knew where she was coming from. I was sitting with three hotties except I was screwing any of them.

'Yet.' My wolf purred.

'Zip it crazy. I might reward you after we reject Trevor but for now we are mated.' I knew she wouldn't be ok with cheating even if Trevor did first and I agreed. We could look though.

"I want the biggest steak you have, medium rare. I also want four of your shrimp skewers, onion rings, a loaded baked potato, and broccoli." I smiled as hers dropped. "Thanks."

"You know they already ordered right so there isn’t anyone to share with?" Her eyes were full of shock and disgust. "Eating like this won't help you any."

I felt Kieran sit up taller as his body tightened. I watched him get ready to tell her off but someone else beat him to the punch. "I believe waitresses take orders, refill drinks, and bring out the food. I know having an opinion on something that is none of their damn business is part of your job description. " Bear growled at her his hand tightening on his beer.

"And we like a woman that can eat. It means she will make through a full night of us taking turns blowing her mind from the countless orgasms." Hawke moved his eyes to me and winked. "I like knowing a girl can take all of me, all night long. A skinny girl is never good enough. Your curves and plump ass would look amazing bent over my motorcycle."

The waitress gasped her face becoming a scowl. "Well, there is no need to talk at me like that. I was only trying to help." She gave a glare and walked off.

I laughed covering my embarrassment and shock. No one really stuck up for me like that even growing up. I was plus size like my momma but my sister and brother were fit. They got it from dad but he never treated me any different It was just the pack.

“Ok so we told you both our names and Kieran told us yours, but I want to hear it from you. He made it sound so official and stiff.” Bear smiled pulling my focus back to the present. “It seems your beta is a bit overprotective. You sure you two don’t have something on the side?”

I felt my anger hit my face as it started to burn up. I just stared a Bear watching what his face change as he realized what he said. He started to say sorry and try to back up but I shook my head. This was the reaction I would be getting from the council and several other selfish, pompous Alphas.

I put my hand on Kieran’s leg knowing he was about to go into a rant. It seemed to be his new thing now that we were with someone outside of the pack. We might need to talk about it later.

“I guess we should get straight down to business. My name is Bridget and I have been Luna for a little over two years. I will tell you a few things but I won’t be going into detail. It will just be enough so you can get the basics and make an informed decision.” My tone was only business and it seemed to only make Bear feel worst.

“We can wait until after we eat. I can hear your stomach over here.” Hawke tried lifting my spirits with a joke but it was too late.

“I’m not from my current pack but one that allied with them about the time I got rejected from my first mate. I met Trevor when he was vising with your father and they watched me during one of my training sessions.” I gulped doing my best to keep my voice steady and my head in the now instead of past memories that wanted to drag me in. “He was sweet and strong. He asked me out and kept asking me out when I said no. He still hadn’t found his mate and I wasn’t about to hurt someone like I had been hurt.”

I stopped as the waitress brought us our bread and butter. She shot me a few glares but I ignored it. Let her be bitter and shitty.

“Bridget, you don’t-“ Bear started when she walked away but I ignored it.

“He left and came back six months later after meeting his mate. They rejected each other and were ok with it from what he said but now I question what really happened. I believed him and finally gave him a yes.” I slathered butter all over my bread my mouth already watering. “Anyways six months later we were mated and your father handed down the title of Alpha. I had blind to see what was going on the first almost year of our relationship as I was focused on learning everything that had to do with running the pack and doing both of our jobs. Boy am I glad I was an overachiever.”

“We all are. Once his parents left he became a burden to you. I remember all the late nights you used to pull when he started the warrior project and the new wall project.” Kieran was right there with me on those nights so he knew first hand.

“It was one of those long nights I found him for the first time. I found him with that blonde omega, Kerrie. She was sitting on his desk with him sitting in his chair between her legs as they flirted and talked about their favorite things in bed.” I took a huge bite out of my bread angrily chewing it. “That one hurt the worst. The ones after not so much since I expected him to useless as an Alpha, mate, lover, and wolf. Fucker has only mated me like two times and still lets his mother put me down for not getting pregnant yet every time she calls.”

“What!” Austin’s face was a cross between angry and in disbelief. “He doesn’t touch you? He goes for the omegas when he has you! There is no f*****g way we are talking about my brother.”

Bear laughed at Austin. “I get the feeling we are going to help them-her out.” He winked at me.

“He isn’t a fan of my curves. He did try to screw me last night after coming back from Marie’s house. He took a shower and got in bed talking all crazy and disgusting about her joining us in bed and he getting both of us. His touch was rough and disgusting. It was like a switch flipped in his brain once he got cheating pussy.” I shivered thinking about his demand for me to return and let him have his way with me.

“He didn’t just talk crazy. He tried to make you screw him and even threatened you.” Kieran growled his wolf still not happy I would let him punch Trevor’s lights out.

The waitress finally made it back with our food. I watched Bear and Austin talk in whispers ignoring the glances of the waitress. It seemed like she decided not to be angry anymore. She was back to flirting and looking cheap. She kinda reminded me of the omegas at the pack.

When she left they both turned to me their faces serious. “We will help you but on a few conditions.”

I knew this was coming. “I am not getting even with him by f*****g one of you so he feels the pain. I plan on rejecting him tomorrow in front of the pack and council.”

“No. No you are not doing that.” Bear leaned forward a smile forming on his face. “You don’t have to f**k us if you don’t want but I know I am open to the idea. We will be going there and repaying some of his actions like flirting, late nights out, and teasing a bit.”

“Agreed and on top of that we will be talking to the council and the pack. It is time to get him out of power.” Hawke matched Bears smile. “I have a feeling the four of us will be getting a lot closer than you think. You will see soon enough.”

“Four of us?” I looked between the guys Keirans face matching my confused one.

“Yea we can’t leave out lover boy. He wants you and we don’t mind sharing.” Bear started eating his food like the discussion as closed.

What f*****g world did I wake up in? I was blindsided and Kieran was beside me nodding his head along with the biggest smile on his face.
