Emma
Nathan helped me check the condition of my car. I felt uncomfortable with her here, but there was no choice.
"Have you checked the condition of your car before?"
"Yeah, I took it to the garage for routine maintenance, and everything was fine," I replied.
"Impossible," Nathan said. "Your car's engine is in bad shape."
"How?" I quickly looked at it. I didn't want to be fooled by Nathan, but after seeing it for myself, I just didn't understand.
"If you've really checked at the garage, your car should be in excellent condition. Look at the cables here. They're all broken." Nathan suddenly fell silent. He glanced at me in a very serious way.
"What's going on?" I asked.
A few moments later, Barak arrived with Luna. Behind their car was another car. It seemed to be a mechanic who would check my car's condition.
"Nathan Smith. What are you doing here?" Barak was surprised to see this young man.
"I just bumped into Mrs. Wilson by accident. There's a serious problem with her car."
A grown man got out of the car. He was wearing a jeans jacket and shorts.
"Hello, I am Graham Wheels. I was asked by Barak to check on her car. Why are you out in the afternoon, Miss? Forks are too quiet for you to drive alone."
"Oh, I came out before the afternoon. I had some business in the city center. I lost track of time and had to pass by at sunset. Luckily, I ran into Nathan, my student," I replied.
Graham turned to Nathan. There was no conversation between them, but they seemed to know each other.
"You'd better not hang around, Nathan. Your dad could be watching you," Graham said.
"I don't care. I've got my own life." Nathan then showed Graham the condition of my car's engine. "Come here and look at this problem."
Graham checked it out immediately. After looking at my car's engine, he let out a long sigh, which confused me. I looked at Luna and Barak, who were also wondering.
"What's wrong? Is there a serious problem? I checked the condition of my car two weeks ago, and the garage employee said it was perfectly fine."
Graham turned to me. "Someone sabotaged your car, Miss. Do you have a problem with someone?"
I was shocked to hear Graham's statement. Was my car sabotaged? Who would have the heart to do this to me.
"No, of course not. I've never had a problem with anyone." I glanced at Nathan, who looked so serious. Did he know all along that my car had been sabotaged?
Luna grabbed my hand and hugged me. I honestly didn't know what was going on.
"We'd better go now," Barak said. "Maybe this is Robert's doing."
"Robert?" I was dumbfounded. "Why would he do this to me?"
"Let's go to the police, Emma." Luna took my hand and led me to her car.
"Are we going to leave Graham here? Isn't it dangerous?"
Graham smiled at me. Did I look like I was underestimating him?
"I'm a native of Fork. I know this place so well. Don't worry, Miss."
"I'll be here to keep Graham company," Nathan added.
I didn't think Nathan needed to do this, but he was hiding something from me.
"Let's go, Emma. You'll be surprised." Luna slightly forced me into her car.
I looked at Nathan, who had a suspicious expression. Is this what he did? But what was his motivation for doing this? Or does Nathan know who did something this crazy?

"You need to go to the police station, Emma. I'll drive you. You can't let that crazy psychopath keep bothering you!" Luna was furious over this incident.
Meanwhile, I was still in shock. I never had problems with anyone, but why would anyone do this to me?
I heard the bell outside Barak's house. Who came at this time of night? Barak opened the door immediately.
"Emma," Barak called out to me.
I wondered what was wrong and who had come to see me. I rushed over to Barak. When I got to the front, I saw Nathan standing at the door.
"Nathan? What's going on?" I asked.
"Graham asked me to return your car keys. It looks like you'll have to wait a little longer, Mrs. Wilson. Graham is taking your car to the garage."
I was stunned for a few moments. Nathan was kind enough to drop off my car keys. I rushed over to him and took the keys he handed me.
"Thank you, Nathan," I said.
"Are you okay, Mrs. Wilson? I mean, am I traumatized or anything..."
"Of course!" Barak answered immediately. "Emma's going to report this to the police."
Nathan looked at me as if he had something to say. What was I supposed to do? Barak and Luna didn't want this to go away.
"I'll just go to the police station tomorrow, Barak. I'm so tired. I'd rather go home and rest," I replied.
"Are you sure?" Barak looked at me with great concern.
"Yeah. I'm too tired."
"I can give you a lift, Mrs. Wilson." Nathan suddenly interrupted me. I turned to him. "If you don't mind."
I froze for a moment. I was worried that Barak would think something of Nathan's offer.
"Yeah, that's right. You can be with Nathan. Your houses are close together." Barak actually approved of us being together.
I was confused and awkward. I wondered if Barak didn't have any suspicions about Nathan.
"Okay," I replied, looking at Nathan, who hadn't smiled at me. "I'll get my bag first."
I quickly went back inside to get my bag. Luna looked at me suspiciously.
"I'm going home, Luna. I'd better calm myself down at home," I said.
"Are you sure you're okay, Emma? You can sleep here if you feel unsafe. Tomorrow, we can go to work with Barak."
"No, it's fine. I'll go." I hugged Luna and said goodbye. Then I went out with Nathan. I got a ride on Nathan's bike.
On the way, I didn't talk at all. Nathan rode his bike at an average speed. I thought he was an irresponsible young man. Rich kids have a different class.
Soon, we arrived in front of the house. I immediately got off Nathan's bike.
"Thank you," I said. "You can go back to your house."
Nathan didn't say anything. He just looked at me. I felt awkward under his gaze.
"You need to be careful, Mrs. Wilson," Nathan said. “Someone targeting you.”
