The day after rejection

Sophie POV

I wake up and feel much warmer than usual. I look around and get a little scared because I don't know where I am. After everything comes back in my memory, the rejection, cheating, Jason helped me to come here to Regina's place. Jason's wrapping around me and it feels so good. His breath is tickling the back of my neck. His face was buried in my hair. His body is close to mine, not even an inch between us. His arms pull me closer to him when he inhales my scent and sighed. I feel he is awake but doesn't want me to let go.

"Good morning Sophie. I hope you feel better and don't feel any pain. I don't want to let you go. Just please let me hold you. It feels so good. Isn't it strange? Sorry if I push you too much after everything happened.-he exhaled and caress my stomach through my t-shirt.

"Good morning Jason. Yes, I am so much better thanks for your help. It's ok. It's not strange actually I feel the same. Please hold me close.-I said and turn in his arms. I wrap my arms around him and pull him closer to me then put my face on his chest. He put his head on the top of mine. It feels so good and sorry that he is not my mate. We stay that way for a while and he starts kissing my temple, my jaw, my cheek, and my lips. I pull away and look into his eyes. I see the hurt in his eyes.

"Sorry, just morning breath.-I said and try to protect myself.

"I don't care. So just let me taste you.- he said and kiss me. I hesitated at first but quickly responded. His lips are so soft and gentle caresses my lips. He nibbles my bottom lips while his hand goes to my butt and squeezes it. It's surprised me and I gasp. He takes advantage of this and his tongue slips in my mouth. He discovers every inch in my mouth and our tongues dance together. I moan because I really enjoy it. I caress his chest and he groans. This makes my whole body vibrate and I feel my panties start to dampened. I can feel he is slowly going hard while rubbing his body. I know I want him but I can't not now. Not after everything happened. It's too early to move forward but now I can enjoy the kisses with Jason and this is what I'm actually doing right now. He didn't push the thing further too so I'm happy with that.

Half an hour later we were ready to leave the bed. Regina greets us with a big smile on her face.

"Thank you again, Regina. You're the best. So how this gonna work with the bond?-I ask curiosity in my voice

"For your bond, I can't completely break it. You just can't feel him anymore. For his side, I'm not sure and he is an Alpha. Everybody reacts differently to this potion. But for your side is safe and everything is good.-she exhaled long.

"That's fine. Thank you again and that we can sleep here too.

"Thank you Regina for helping Sophie. So good that she has a friend like you by her side.-Jason said and hug me from behind. We said our goodbyes to Regina and we left her house. On the way back to my apartment we take a quick stop for breakfast. Both of us order pancakes with a lot of maple syrup. We feed each other with the pancakes. Our faces, in the end, look like a mess but we don't care if we enjoy our time together. He makes me so happy. He drops me at the club because I don't want Connor to know my address.

"Please be safe Sophie and call me anytime. I'm not kidding really anytime. I know we live thousands of miles away but it's not a problem to reach me on the phone.-Jason said and caress my cheek with his finger.

"Ok and thank you so much. What everything you did to me. I will keep in contact with you I promise.-I said and smile up at him. He touches my lips with his finger then bent down and kissed my lips with the sweetest kiss I ever have in my life. As he loves me even we know each other only some days. I kiss him back and pull his body close to mine to feel him last time. We both pull away and look at each other's eyes. I see in his eyes he doesn't want to go and I don't want him to go but he has to. I feel we have to say our goodbyes for a long time.

"Goodbye, Jason. Safe trip back home.-I said and feel tears start to build in my eyes.

"Goodbye, Sophie. I will be safe. Please be safe too. Hope we will meet again.-he said and kiss me last time for a long and passionate kiss.

After he leaves I slowly walk back home. Check my emails. Make some phone calls and start packing.

"Here comes the new Sophie...goodbye the old Sophie...-I said in my head and was proud of myself and Mona agreed with me.

Connor POV

I wake up in the late morning around 10 am. The girl in my bed snuggled close to me in her dreams. Her hands-on my stomach and her head are behind my neck. I can feel every breath she takes but I don't mind. I don't want to get up from this bed to face my friend's angry face. I move so I now lie on my back, put my hands behind my neck, and watch the ceiling. The girl slowly opened her eyes and smiled at me.

"Good morning baby. Did you sleep well? Do you want another round?-she asks and now caresses my chest with her hand. I take off her hands and sit up in bed so now my head rests on the bed board. I sigh and look at her. She just sl*t if she ever finds her mate I don't know how he will forgive her to sleep around that much.

"Good morning. Yes, I slept well. Hope you too. No thanks, I don't want another. Please get dressed for our breakfast I think already there in the dining room and wait to dig in.-I said to her and got up from the bed. I dig in my suitcase for some clean clothes. I put on a grey shirt with black jeans. I look in the mirror and look like sh*t. I fix my hair and step out of the room.

When we enter the dining room they are already eating. Nobody has a girl on their side just me. It feels so awkward and they can smell that we had s*x also because our scent is mixed. When we are in the middle of breakfast Jason comes into the suite. Look at me and the girl next to me with a curious look on his face.

"Good morning. Hope everybody had fun yesterday. What time do we leave?-he asks and sits on a chair. He just poured some orange juice and didn't eat anything. He makes conversation with my other friends. He looks so fresh and happy. That's when his scent hit me. He smells like cinnamon rolls. That's Sophie's scent he is with her.

"Where have you been? Did you not sleep here? And why do you smell like Sophie my mate?-I said anger in my voice. He has a smug smile on his face. Lick his bottom lip and answer me.

"Well...no I did not sleep here last night. To answer your other questions Is not your business. She is your ex-mate. Remember you rejected her last night? But I tell you something I was with Sophie yes and because of you cheating behind her back you dumba*s. She felt that you with somebody else and I find her in huge pains bc you can't keep your d*ck in your pants.-he said with snarling at me

"What? How Is that possible? I rejected her and we didn't even mate to her to feel I'm with somebody else.-I snarl back at him. After Jason's words, I feel so guilty. I cause her pain and I don't even know about it. Probably when I was thinking about her I mind link her in the middle of s*x. Stupid that's why I don't need a mate.

"Don't know but I saw her in pain while you had s*x with another she-wolf. I tell you again you'll regret that you reject her. I don't say anything else. Now If you excuse me I have to go to my room and start packing.-he said then drink his juice and leave the room.

My anger increases in me. She and Jason were together last night. I don't have to care about it because I rejected her but somehow the feeling that my mate has with another male makes my blood boil.

Thor my wolf is so angry at me and snarling at me. "You stupid human. Now I lost my mate and I never will be complete without her. An Alpha without his Luna is not a real Alpha just a half soul. Let's see how you'll take care of yourself without my help.-Thor said and close our link.

"Thor you can't do this with me. Please come back. I'll make it right, just give me a chance. Thor...Thor....do you hear me?-I shout back at him.

Everybody looks at me now with fear in their eyes. I shrug and continue eating my breakfast. I'll need my energy later. I accompany my one-nights stand and start packing also. We have to leave the city in 4 hours because our planes leave the city at 7 pm.

"The chase starts with my little she wolfie.- I said to myself and left the suite.
