Torn Between Two Alphas Sophie POV "Soph gets your pretty a*s here we need to get ready.-Grace my best friend, and roommate, yells from the living room. We need to leave to get to work or we will be late and our boss is not tolerating even 5 minutes late. "I'm almost done. I just need my boots and we can leave.-I yell back while I zip up my thighs length high heels boots. I am wearing my waitress uniform, which is a deep v cut top and can just cover under my bottom. In the front of the top the words ‘Secret hole’ are written, while at the back it says ‘Staff’. A little mini skirt that just shows enough for the men to get crazy. We can't wear anything else but this uniform. At first it annoyed me, but after some time we got used to it. Besides, I never complained because the salary is good, we can keep the tips that the guest gives us and I don't need to share. I get ready and step to the living room, grab my bag, close the door and leave with Grace. We share an old red Chevrolet Corvette just because of the look and make us visible. We park in our usual parking spot and enter the club. The music is as loud as usual but can be tolerable. We put our bag at the back of our locker and make our way to the bar. Before the shift greets us, pass the shift and tell everything we need to know. Now it is 8 pm and we usually work a 12 hours shift. Today is Thursday and just some people walk in for a drink just after work and our loyal guests. On Friday nights not so many people come, not like on Saturday nights, it is always full and very busy. "Hey, Soph give me my usual double whiskey please.-Nate says. He is one of my loyal guests and a human. He is 26 and always fights with her long-term girlfriend. She's a typical plastic girl who always wants just expensive gifts, not working, and not caring about others than herself. Nate is so in love with her so is a type not with her or without her relationship. One week they are together then another not. Nate is a very attractive man but he is so blind in love. He has black curly hair with green eyes like grass. I hope one day he will find his perfect match. "On the way, Nate.-I say while pouring his whiskey. I walk right in front of Nate and give him the glass. He takes a big sip and gulps. I know his throat burned like hell after that drink. "So tell me what happened now? You know I am all ears for you. You're my friend and I care about you.-I tell him, looking into his eyes "You know just the usual. She wants to move to a bigger house that looks fancy and everything, but she doesn't want kids and not a fan of housecleaning at all. So I said to her we have to wait till we need a bigger place. What we have now is enough now for just the two of us. After two years I thought she would understand that but no. She immediately called her best friend and said that I can't understand what she needs and walked from me and locked our bedroom room. So I thought I would come here for a drink and pour out my heart. You always make me happy with understanding me and your funny stories.-He says and finally saw a smile on his face. "Look you knew I always speak from my heart but I can't make a decision for others, but I will wear your shoes. I will leave her and find my real one who is perfectly fit for me. This is my thought but it's your life and chooses what you want to do. But I will tell you the truth. I will always be there for you, just a friend of course.-I utter, as I wipe to dry the bar and leave him to think. The time is passing so slow like always on weekdays. At 11 pm I take a break with Grace while Brian is taking care of the few customers we have and serve them. "So are you up to tomorrow to release the tired stream? Just you and I and lots of alcohol and some hot chick for me and some hot guy for you.-She says with a big smile on her face. Grace is not the typical best friend type girl. She likes girls and they like her very much. Every week she finds someone for a hot steamy night. Oohh yeah and forgot to mention that she is human but knows that I am a werewolf. I didn't tell her she just realized it by herself. "Fine for me, until you don't leave me alone and just tell me 2 hours later after you have already left and are safe at home.-I complain and bite my ham and cheese sandwich. "Ohh come on! It just happened once and it was only because was charming with her big blue eyes.-Grace smiles, and laugh a little at the memory about it. We finished our break and headed back to work. "Soph the bill, please. I head home and see what is waiting for me. Thank you for the suggestion I will think about. Have a good night.-Nate says. It is almost midnight now, and I hand him the bill. He pays and leaves the bar. I feel so sorry for him but I can't do anything, besides listening to him when he has a bad day. The rest of the night is boring and we don't have many customers. Grace is already flirting with a blonde girl so maybe she comes with a company to drink and dance. She is kind of cute and never looks at her because she likes girls and not guys. When it is finally 8 am we go home. I eat my scrambled egg and bacon breakfast with my glass of milk. After watching TV for a little while, I go to my bedroom, take a shower and fall onto my bed, falling asleep quickly. --------------------- A/N: Hi dear readers.
