Ergon went out hiding from the old oak tree after seeing Adolfo waving at him from the southern side of the river.
He was having a rest on that tree when he saw him floating in the river. He was curious earlier because it was his first time seeing someone swimming in the river.
He's seven years old, but his mind can be compared to that matured twenty years old wolf from his village. His encounter with Adolfo was the first time in his life. It was the fault of that old oak tree to fell into the river, seeing his nakedness.
Apart from what he saw, he was confused as to why Adolfo was very friendly to him. He even knew that he's in danger if he steps onto the land of the black wolves.
“If they hated us, why are you being friendly with me then?”
“It's in my character, Ergon. You must return now before someone sees us here.”
He asked him in detail, but his answer was the least expected. His character was indeed different from him. He's also a good swimmer.
“He's young just like me. Might as well learn from his weird personality.”
Ergon was on his way back when bodyguards appeared in front of him. Instead of chasing them away, he challenged them in a marathon all the way back into the village where his father Drav was waiting for him.
DRAVIA is different from Olvia because it was governed by a strict ruler named Drav. He's the leader of the brown-red wolves, whose only character was to defeat Olv, the leader of the black wolves' clan.
He was quiet for the last seven years trying to gather wolves from his clan to fight him. His thirst for revenge was still intact. He was only warming up and to find a way to get back to Olv.
It was because of him that he killed Oldra and her parents. It was because of him that his evil side was awakened. And it was because of Olv that his ambition of becoming the king of Oldravia was ruined. And he can't forgive him.
Seven years. And in those seven years, he never gave the clan of brown-red wolves any happy thoughts. He taught every one of them hatred and revenge. When one wants to leave or tried to escape from Dravia, he won't let them leave unscathed. The price for not following his strict rules was annihilation or wiping out the entire lineage of their family.
Because of his strict rules, no one dared to leave the village. They were all afraid by his fangs and claws.
He's now forty years old and the memories when he first meet Ergon's mother was the worst one in his entire life.
After splitting the land of Oldravia into two, he was left alone in the wilderness. Every day, he screamed and shouted in the highest plateau of the land of Dravia. Every night, he howled and wailed in the River of Avia.
He clearly remembered that the water in the River of Avia was about two thousand meters above sea level and if he cross, he would end up being drowned.
His screamed, shout, howled, and wailed were noticed by a passersby wolf lady. That lady approached him without hesitation. It was the first time he felt that someone was interested in him. She feed him, clothed him, and nursed him with love and care, only to realized that the lady in the name of Aragon fell for his charm.
Argona loved him. She accepted his flaw and bipolar attitude. Eventually, Drav's heart changed a little and decided to embraced her as his mate, making her pregnant with a child.
After giving birth into a boy, Drav made Argona's life miserable. He made sure that every day was a hell day for her. The day he snatched the Ergon from her was the worst. Argona challenged him into a fight and made a deal.
“If you win against me, Drav, Ergon will be with you. If I win, I'll leave Dravia with my child and never return in this land.”
“I hate betting for something I can only win, Argona. I am accepting your challenge!”
Argona and Drav went outside a small Nipa Hut to proceed with the challenge.
Drav won't let Argona win the battle and decided to attack her first in his human form. “I don't need to change my look in front of you, Argona.”
Argona was able to dodged his punch and kicked his stomach. “Have you ever loved me, Drav?”
“I never loved you, Argona. I hated happiness. Happiness and being happy are the most hated words I have locked inside my heart!”
His claws were scratching her, but she was able to duck in time and fought her real hard like an Amazona from the jungle. She made her mad like a fierce tiger and changed into a brown wolf while Drav remained unchanged.
Using her tail, he swayed into Drav's direction, but the latter grab it, pull her, and threw it into the big tree. He was not contented with just throwing at her, so he kicked and punched her until the body of the brown wolf became restless.
Argona was about to fall from her demise when Drav gave him one last chance to tell her last words in front of him.
“I don't want to let my opponent die in front of me without saying any last words. So, I am giving you the opportunity to say it, Argona.”
Argona looked at him with pity and smiled before giving her last words in front of him.
“Please take care of our child, Drav. For my sake.”
“I am a man of words, and I'll do that, Argona. Since you lost from me, it's about time to end your agony.”
Argona slowly closed her eyes, ready for the last blow of Drav to kill her. Without hesitation and a feeling of resentment, he thrust his claw in her chest and pulled out Argona's heart.
