Ch11: Mate

Athena was in a daze looking at the huge castle, Morgan grabbed her hand, he motioned her to walk ahead. They both started walking towards the huge mahogany gate, the walls are made up of huge bricks, the top row of stones of the tower which alternate between merlons and create gaps to provide both covers, a line of fire for defenders, there were many cisterns on the huge brick walls, the structure of the castle is old Merlin, with a huge gate there was also a small gate for pedestrians only which was used as a secondary entrance or emergency exit, there was a very huge lock on that small door, Athena can see there was not anyone who will open the door for them, she notices Morgan was walking calmly, as they reached to the huge gate. The flames of the torch's inception the fire from them, two huge fire flames come in the shape of two men. Athena feel scared as hell she saw two large men of fire standing in front of them on both sides of the castle gate, Morgan giggled looking at her scared expression. Morgan left her hand then walk ahead both the firemen bowed to him, "We welcome you home." They said in a union,

"Thank you!!! Please open the door for us twins, the gatekeepers of the castle." Morgan said to them loudly, both the firemen touch the gate. It starts burning Athena's eyes widen looking at the view in front of her, after a few moments the gate opened with a huge creek voice.

Morgan came near her, " You look scared. Baby girl, don't worry they are twins the ghosts, they are the gatekeepers of the castle. They are protecting this castle for a thousand years, very loyal to the King. You will so so many wonderful and amazing things here, come on let's go inside." Morgan interviewed their hands, they both start walking inside the huge gate of the castle.

Athena gets inside the castle to see a whole new world, there were huge redwood trees surrounding the whole area, the shade of the trees are making a ceiling over all the place, trees are so tall that you have to turn your head up high to see the sky. The climate here is moist but not cold, you can feel the tenderness of the air, Athena look up to find little beautiful huts in the trees very high, she was wondered to see sparkling light of different colors like pink, blue, golden, yellow, organs, and red. It felt like the roof is decorated with so many colorful lights, it is creating a dream-like surrounding there, Athena can feel the little movements upside there, but she can not see clearly what are those things? The lights are like fireflies, due to their vampire senses she can see the huts. But no man can see up that high, the pleasant scent of Gardenia, Star-Jasmine, and Lilac are making the grounds sundanese with aroma, Athena inhaled the pleasant fragrance of these beautiful flowers she feels refreshed, then she walks to a nearby bush to pluck one star-jasmine.

"What are those up there?" She was looking at fl8ghts with an amusing look in her eyes, she asked Morgan, he never replied to her.

Athena look towards Morgan, he was looking her with a desire in her eyes, " you will know everything soon baby girl, but for now you are compelling me to jump on you here, I would pleasingly do that!!! your eyes are making me capture the stars in them, but we have to go away from here now. I don't want to get late for dinner." Morgan said in a deep voice, Athena saw a tint of red in his eyes, his vampire self is pleading him to take Athena here, Athena smiled looking at him giving him a mean look, "we are vampires we can never be late, " she winked looking at Morgan.

"What about a race till my house?" Morgan said,

"Yeah sure!!! Why not? I would love it, it would be fun, " Athena giggled.

Morgan sat down on the ground in a racing position Athena did the same, they both glare towards each other by the side view,

"Get set, Ready!!! Go..." Morgan said they both shot like bullets their speed can not be seen by the normal vision, Athena laughing hardly seeing Morgan behind her trying to match her speed, their speed is extremely fat as from where they both pass, all the trees, and bushes jingle with the wind. Athena can feel the different surroundings in every place, she never felt pike that before in one place she can feel there are so different climates and weather. Finally, Morgan told her to stop in front of a huge mansion, she saw the place with awe it is a modern place in between of somewhere in the forest, she can see the three interlocking levels with bevy bamboo shutters on the top roof, the walls are a mixture of varnished timber, plaster and mushroom tones, the three-floor has huge balconies of that are very well lit with beautiful lights with a designed cushion view. It gives the mansion a very snazzy exterior look, the front of the house has a series of brick inlets but the sides of the path have large ply of grass. One path goes to in a curvey way to walk to the garage, the other one goes to the timber wood door with a sophisticated tone that incorporates the modern exterior of the house. Morgan walked to the route ringing the football, Athena sighed heavily, she has never seen such elegance mix with nature. Athena walks to Morgan they both wait outside the house for someone to open the door for them.

Finally, the door opened by a very dutiful Mathew standing in front of them, he smiled looking at Morgan and wondered looking towards the beautiful girl beside him the girl looks a little bit nervous. Morgan gave a smile to Mathew, he moved forward to give him a high hug. Mathew returned the favor, "Good to see your face, asshole." Morgan giggled looking at him, Mathew scoffed.

"Welcome home prince, it's nice to see you back again. By the way, may I ask the name of this beautiful lady?"  Mathew asked in a polite tone,

Athena giggled looking at a very robotic talking man in front of her, "Hi, I am Athena, how are you, Mathew?" Athena asked. Mathew, on the other side, finds it very friendly Athena talking to him like that, no allies can talk to him ever like that, it means she is a nice girl. Morgan seeing Mathew's face understood what he was thinking of her, "Mathew she is not an ally of us, she is my girlfriend. You can calm down, you can be yourself in front of her." He informed him, Mathew then sighed in relief relaxing.

"I am also fine, so she is a special guest at dinner. I thought Morgan is bringing some allies, that's why!!! I turned to my adept self, sorry for being that dumb." Mathew explained to her, Athena and Morgan burned out laughing listening to him, he made a pout looking at them, then he also joined them laughing hard.

"Now, if you give us permission to enter the house, Mathew Sirrrrrr!!!" Morgan said giving more pressure on the R of Sir, Mathew moves aside, "where his brother? I thought he would be waiting for us!!!" Morgan asked him, Athena looking the surrounding of the house finding it very beautiful.

"Yes, Sir was waiting for you. He just gets to castle for some work, he will be back soon, " Mathew told him, Morgan moved toward the sitting area Athena followed him.

They set on the comfortable sofas, a lady comes in with a tray of some juice. Morgan looks towards her, then he and Athena picked up one glass, Athena sipped from her glass when they heard the front door opening then closing.

Morgan stands up from his seat, he walks towards the door to find Sapphire standing near the staircase, he runs towards him hugging him tightly, "Hello, brother!!! How are you?" He said still hugging him,

"I am fine, Prince. How are you?  It's good to see you back, I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, brother," Morgan said then moved away from him, a very nervous looking Athena was standing behind him.

Sapphire look behind his brother, to find a very beautiful girl standing confused and nervous, he motioned with his finger towards Athena, Morgan blushed to itch the back of his head.

"Brother, she is the one, I told you about. Athena my girlfriend."

Morgan told him, Athena finally, move from her places, she walks near them to greet Sapphire, Sapphire moved along his hand to handshake with her. 

Athena smiled a little, "Hello, It's nice to finally meet you," she said  unhurriedly,

Athena grabbed his hand handshaking with him, but a shocked covered her, her eyes widen with the touch she felt the jolt of sparks running in her body. She never felt that before her beating like wild, she felt it very strongly the urge to hug this man tightly, Athena never understood her condition. She was in a daze when looking at the man's face, he is the most handsome man she saw in her life, then it hit her. Athena found her mate, he is her mate. Athena deliberately wanted any reaction from him but he was standing there calmly, with a very careless face, it felt like he never felt anything with her touch...

"I found my mate."
