Ch12: Dinner

Sapphire was waiting for Morgan and his girlfriend to arrive when he got a ring from one of his informers, Sapphire wants to find Dimitry as quickly as possible, but Dimitry is the man, he only arrives to greet them when he wants...

Sapphire told his squealer to convey his message to Dimitry, that he wants to see him, Sapphire last meet Dimitry a few months back when he was on his training session in the forest. Dimitry came by himself to meet Sapphire, also he wants to know about his mate if he finds the girl or not!!! Sapphire was in a very friendly relation with Dimitry because he trusted him with his Empire because Dimitry saved them from that black shadow. Dimitry told him about the power he has, he told him how to use that power, when and where to use it? Sapphire is gifted with that power...

Sapphire respects him with his life, for now, he needs him. Sapphire wants his vampire father blood to cure himself, so he sent his informers to find him, or to get any clue about him. Sapphire told Mathew that he is going to the castle for homework, he will be back soon. So if they both arrive and ask about him tell them he will be back soon...

Then he gets out of his house walking towards a willow tree that is very huge and dense. The willow tree has a very strong trunk its branches are prepared all over the ground, the branches covering the trunk also... Sapphire move forward the branches of the tree get aside as he moves ahead, he reached the tree trunk touched the trunk a gate-like structure visible on the trunk, Sapphire moved inside the gate the tree make itself like earlier, Sapphire walk inside to find a man standing in the room, "King, " he bowed down in front of him.

"Mason, what is it? what news did you bring?" He asked the man,

"King, Master Dimitry is nowhere in four empires, we have searched all the boundaries inside and outside, but never finds him." The man said Sapphire, look at him in a very disappointing way, "I never thought that you will bring bad news, I want you to continue the search. Next time I will not hear anything like this..." He said his tone harsh, his eyebrow arched a stiff expression on his face. The man nodded his head then vanished in the air as he never exists.

Sapphire then moved out of the room heading back to the empire, the pain is still there but its endurance is bearable. As he walked towards their house he can feel his pain going away, he can feel the intensity of the pain lessen by seconds, Sapphire get inside the mansion to find his brother already arrived. Morgan run towards him hugging him tightly, Sapphire hugged him back but a very delighted feeling comes with his hug, Sapphire was confused about that, then his eyes land on a girl beside him. She was looking a bit nervous, Sapphire motioned towards her to find Morgan blushing he told him about her, " Brother, she is the one, I told you. Athena my girlfriend." Morgan said scratching the back of his head, Athena moved towards him, Sapphire moved forward his hand to handshake with him, "Hello, it's nice to finally meet you, " She smiled shaking hand with him. Sapphire felt very relieved after her touch, he can feel all his pain gone his heartfelt at peace. Sapphire smiled looking at her but a very shocked expression covered her face, he can see her eyes roaming on his face like she saw some ghost.

"Hello, I am Sapphire Cornwall, Morgans elder brother and the King of the North Empire."  Sapphire introduced himself, Athena's eyes widen with shock, morgan cleared his throat...

"ahm, ahm, I know, I know!!! My brother is very handsome but I am standing here... Hello!!!" Morgan said, waving his hand in front of her face. Athena came out of daze a very troubled expression in her eyes, he looks towards Morgan in unbelievable expression, "Morgan, you never told me that..." She was going to say it when Morgan placed a finger on her lips shutting them, "I will tell you everything, but please can we first eat. I am very hungry." He said, A very angry and doubtful expression came upon her face. But Sapphire finds it cute, she was looking angry with Morgan but Sapphire can also feel anger towards him.

Sapphire was very amused by her expressions also she never left his hand, Sapphire laughed looking at her, then he moves there hands up in the air in front of her eyes. She finally snapped out of it then she left his hand looking both of their faces, she felt embarrassed,

"Sorry, I... I was just very surprised, I didn't know that "  She was going to say something but Morgan grabbed her waist making her close to him, " Don't worry baby girl, I know you are a bit nervous. Don't feel embarrassed, I was just joking. I will tell you everything," Morgan said near her ear kissing her cheek lightly, Athena blushed but Sapphire can feel her uneasiness, there was something in this girl, he can say she is very missing, but when she left her hand Sapphire also felt something skipping like there was something very close to him. But he is very far from it, he then moved inside the dining area, Morgan, and Athena following him. They enter the dining area, a massive dining table placed in front of the room with the chairs around it. It felt like no one used it before it looked new, Sapphire sat on the head chair gesturing them to sit, Athena was now looking very unhappy, Morgan can feel it or not but Sapphire can clearly feel it, he also catches her glancing towards his face. Why she looks hurt!!! Sapphire thought but then brushed it off, maybe he is thinking too much...

Morgan moved a chair for her she sat on it, then Morgan sat beside her. "So, Brother what is in the dinner? I am feeling very hungry, my stomach is growling me to stuff it." Morgan said giggling, Sapphire laughed, "Morgan, you are always so impatient, don't worry there are all your favorite dishes." He said to Morgan smiling,

"Sorry, Athena!!! I never know what you like that's why it's all Morgan's favorite things." He directly said to her, Athena just looks towards him lost.

"It's okay, I can eat his favorite because we love each other." She said like taunting, then she smiled looking towards Morgan. He hummed then grabbed her hand that was under the table, Morgan also felt the sharpness of her tone, so he holds her hand tightly looking her in the eyes warning her to behave, she smirked. At that time their servants come out of the kitchen placing dishes on the table, A wide smile appeared in Morgans' face, "Really brother!!! you never forgot what I like!!!"  Morgan cheered looking at all his favorite food in front of him, only Sapphire can do Thai for him. "Haha, stop gawking eat them, " Sapphire said, Morgan, served himself then start eating his food.

Mathew walk out of the kitchen standing beside Sapphire's chair,

"King, " he said, Sapphire nodded his head. He starts serving him some salad, then placed some grilled chicken and rice on his plate. Sapphire motioned him to leave, Mathew moved away from there, Sapphire starts eating his food, but he can see the girl is lost only looking the food on her plate. She didn't eat it... Sapphire thought to get her out of embarrassment, he asks her, "Athena, I hope you like the food?" She just nodded her head, her eyes saddened looking at his face.

"Okay, Athena so what do you do?" Sapphire again asked he doesn't know but he was craving to hear her voice, he felt the sharpness in her tone earlier but he wants to listen to her, "I am a third-year student of MBA in the town college." She replied, Sapphire, hummed...

"Morgan never told me about his girlfriend, he is very secretive, he just informed me a day ago. I was happy for him also I can see how happy he sounds talking about you, " Sapphire told Athena, Morgan chocked on his food, feeling very sheepish his brother told her everything.

"Brother, you are making me embarrass in front of my girlfriend," Morgan said, Sapphire laughed looking at Athena hurt expressions, why she is hurt? why is she upset? Sapphire wants to rip that sadness away from her beautiful lips, he wants to go close, he wants to ask her why is she worried? what is troubling her? Sapphire suddenly start worrying about her, he wants to make her happy. He wants her to smile, he wants to sound like that when she first handshake with him but after that suddenly her all good aura is gone. A sadness, hurt, and confusion covered her body, why is she feeling like that?  Sapphire looked towards his brother only to find him looking Athena with pure love in his eyes. 

"I think!!! I am not feeling fine, can we get back home Morgan?" She finally spoke, a little hint of ruptures in her voice, her head low.

"What happens, baby?" Morgan standup worriedly, Saphire wants to go near her, but he sat on his seat. It was not appropriate what he is feeling? The girl is his brother's girlfriend... He can not think about her in any way, Morgan grabbed her shoulder lightly soothing her, her head was low but she was crying. A very worried Morgan standing there looking her, 

"I am sorry Athena, what happens? Did I do anything wrong? I don't want to hide anything from you but, " he was going to say something when she moved her head up looking him in the eyes. Her eyes dripping white tears it means she is hurt,

 "I am just not feeling fine, take me back home."  She said, Morgan understood, he gets away from her. She stands up from her seat looking towards Sapphire, "I am sorry king!!! I don't mean to be rude. I am sorry for my behavior, I think I ruined this dinner also, Sorry for that bye." She bowed a little then start walking out of the dining room towards the main gate. Sapphire feel something very weird when she was walking out it felt like, Sapphire the clear his mind looking at his worried brother. "Sorry brother, I will come back soon. Sorry about this..." He said to him, Sapphire nodded hai head then motioned him to go behind her, Morgan walked out of the dining room left behind a confused and lost Sapphire...
