||Kelsey||

The drive to god knows where was quite, i was literally lost in my thought. I don't know what to feel about the situation, i was kind of naive back them, i shouldn't have told them i will report to the police, and now everything is ruined. I know they must be thinking now that their problem is solve.

The car makes a screech sound making my body jerk backward.

"Sorry, i was trying to avoid bumping into the dog" Reth speaks scratching the back of his head.

Opening the car door, i stepped out the cool breeze coming in contact with my pale skin. I watch the surrounding the houses are similar with each other, and the street is eerily quite.

"Shall we". Reth said holding up his suit case.

Not knowing how to reply, i just nod my head and followed behind him.

I wouldn't say his house is very big, but it's okay for someone who lives alone.

"Take a seat, make yourself comfortable" he stated taking away the scattered newspaper on the table next to me.

"Thank you". I muttered

"I will be right back" he went away leaving me alone with my own thought.

I took my time to access the living room, everything is kept neat, my eyes met with a photo frame placed on the white wall. I walked towards the photo frame. A Man and a woman smiling brightly, the man holding a girl while the woman is holding a boy.

By the looks of the boy, it must be Reth.

"Oh That's my parents" he said, walking towards me, he was now dressed in a pair of shirt and jeans.

"Oh" my lips forms an 'O'

He pointed to the cute girl smiling radiantly. "And she is my baby sister Riley" 

"You have such a beautiful family" i find myself saying. A lone tear fell from my left eyes, i wipe it off not wanting him to see.

"So miss Kelsey, i ordered food let's eat and i will show you to your room" he added.

Just as he finished his  sentence, we heard the doorbell.

"It must be the deliveryman"

We dived in the food which is mashed potatoes, meatballs and croissant. 

"I don't know what you like, so i ordered the three" he speaks taking a bite of his croissant.

"No it's okay." I answered back.

He's kind enough to give me shelter, who am i to complain.

"So miss Kelsey, can you perhaps tell me the reason you left home?" He asked, his attention now focused on me.

What should i say?

Tell him maybe he can help you.

"Um... I'm.. " the ringing of phone stopped me from saying it.

Oh thank that someone who called him.

"Excuse me" he picks the phone, placing it on his ear.

"Hello"

"Okay, see you tomorrow" and he hung up keeping the phone back to it's usual place.

"That's my sister, she's not coming home today so you can use her room" he stated.

I don't know how to thank him enough for saving my life. "Thank you so much Sir for saving my life".

"Don't mention" he replied giving me a smile.

"That door  is the bathroom, and the one on your right is the door to the balcony, in case if you need fresh air" 

"Check the closet you will find some clothe to change into, if you need anything just call me, my room is the  next door close to you" he explained.

"Okay, thank you sir" 

"You're welcome and please call me Reth Goodnight." with that being said he left.

I removed my clothes, making sure i locked the door, knowing that I'm not the only one in the house, i have to be careful in case.

The hot water came in contact with my skin, calming my arching body, i gently scrub my body with bathing soap i found in the bathroom, brushing off the dirt off my body.

After taking my bath, i  felt little better, opening the closet my mouth hung open by the amount of clothes in the closet. After much digging i found a simple sweater top and legging to wear.

I slouched down on the soft bed, which is big compared to mine back home. I kept telling myself everything will be okay.

Kelsey just rest, tomorrow is going to be another big day.

||Reth||

Sometimes you find yourself in an unexpected situation. I have never thought for once that i will saved the life of someone else, especially someone i didn't even know. Seeing her drowning, i know that i had to save her. And i know i have done enough for her by taking her to the hospital but i find myself helping her more, maybe because she reminds me of someone.

"Sir, the guest are here with the business proposal." My secretary Andrew informed me. 

"Okay, i will be right there." I wave off indicating him to leave.

Taking my suit off the hanger, i took the necessary files and left closing the door behind. On my way to the Conference room i was greeted by my employee which i answered in return. Stepping my foot in the room, i was greeted by an unexpected man. I clench my jaw and stuffed my hands inside the pocket trying to calm myself down. 

"Wow.. Who do we have here." The man stated with an annoyed smirk, one of the things that i hate about him.

"Let get started." I said without any once of playfulness. Andrew passed the business proposal to me. After going over some few pages, i turned to the man.

"Mr Julian, i can see you're opening a new hotel and you want our company to construct the new building and you want it exactly like Rodger's ." Placing his folded hands on the table the desk, his lips twitch up.

"Am glad you understand what the contract is talking about." 

"Mr Julian, one thing you need to know about our company is that we don't copy peoples design, we create our own, so if you're not ready to work with us, there are plenty Architect out there." With that i turned around. What he said next made me stopped in my tracks.

"Well Mr Reth, i see that you've forgotten how we get along so well back then, we your little.." And that is when i lose my s**t. grabbing him by the collar, i stared at him eye to eye.

"Don't you there say that name, we are here for business." I seethe.  "And when you learn how to talk to people we can talk business." Pushing him off, i left the conference room.

Slouching myself on couch, i rest my hands on my forehead. How dare him. The blazing of phone  interrupt my thoughts.

"Brother! Someone is in your house!" My sister shouted from the other end.

"Calm down Riley, she's someone i know." I answered making her to quite down for a while before she speaks again.

"Reth are you okay?" She asked in a calm tone.

"I will explain everything to you later okay." I hung up the call and mentally find myself in a deep thinking. 

"Sir, the printout for the bridge design is ready." Andrew said.

"Okay, send it to my office."

After working on a few designs we're starting in a few days, i finally retired back home making sure Andrew took care of the necessary things.

"Reth you're back." Riley said the moment i stepped inside the living room.

"Yeah."

Folding her hands on her chest, she watched me squinting her eyes.

"So bro speak up, who is she." She asked pointing to Kelsey who sat at the far end of the couch looking at us.

"Can you at least let me freshen up." I said light lip.

I sigh made it way out of her lips. "Okay, i will be waiting."

Going up to my room, i freshen up, i wore a white shirt and a half knee jean. I prefer short jeans than long ones.

I went downstairs and find my sister trowing daggers at Kelsey. "Will you at least be kind to her." I said taking a seat beside Riley.

"Why will i kind to her, when i don't know her intentions in coming here." She said rolling her eyes.

"Okay, i will clear up your misunderstanding."

"What?, am sorry such thing has to happen to you." After telling her the whole thing she finally understand.

"No it's okay, you have a right to." Kelsey finally talk.

"But you shouldn't have drowned yourself, you could've died." And know my sister emotional mood is on.

"Okay, enough with the talk, let order something to eat." I but in.

"What's there to order when you have your sister to cook, and Kelsey will help right?" She held Kelsey hand pulling her toward the kitchen.

"Oh Reth, i forgot to tell you, i saw her." My body stiffened and my eyes immediately changed.
