The impact of the ray of the sun on Celia's face made her grab the duvet over her body as she tried to make sense of what was happening.
Where was she?
Celia turned her body to the other side of the bed and managed to open her eyes clearly.
From what she saw, she was in a luxury hotel, half naked and alone. Celia almost cried out in fright as the first instinct that came to her mind was that she had been kidnapped.
Hurriedly, she got out of bed and went to the door, expecting to find out that she was locked in the room but to her surprise, the door clicked open instantly as soon as she pulled the knob.
So easy?
Celia peered out of the door, expecting to see whoever had dropped her in that room outside, waiting to chase her back in, but there was nobody there. In fact, Celia was free as a bird.
But how?
How did she get into that room, and why was she half naked.
Celia's thoughts were difficult until she recalled the event with her boyfriend and her sister, and how she had ended up getting drunk in Archer's Bar, and how she was pulled into the luxurious car by a stranger.
Yes. The stranger that had forced himself on her.
Celia quickly recalled the event and soon became livid. Why were men such scum?
Obviously, it was the man that forced himself on her who had abandoned her in the hotel.
Celia could remember passing out, due to the fatigue she felt because the man was rough with her the previous night.
With that recovery, she hurriedly put on the rest of her clothes and started to make her way out of the hotel.
It didn't matter to Celia where she was, and she didn't bother to find out. All she wanted to do was enter her car and drive home, but her car was all the way at Daniel's house.
The thought of being around Daniel again made her stomach churn but she needed to get her car so there was no going back in the decision to go to Daniel's house.
"f**k!" Celia muttered because it was a Saturday, and considering how late in the morning the time was, she knew that Daniel would have spotted her car and would be waiting for her to show up.
Indeed, he was.
Daniel never left home after Celia found him pounding into her sister, but he woke up early enough for his usual morning workout and saw Celia's car parked at its usual spot.
Daniel's face lit up as he considered that he still had a chance to see Celia again and beg her to forgive him. But on second thought, Daniel frowned.
What was Celia doing for her to abandon her car? She must have made it to Archers and was too drunk to drive home. Daniel came to a conclusion at once.
He became livid. For Celia to be that drunk and unable to drive, it meant that she spent the night in a hotel.
There was no way a man would not have taken advantage of her and slept with her.
At the thought of that, Daniel started to boil with anger.
"Celia, you act so pure yet at the slightest opportunity, you have run off to other men."
On her way there, Celia hoped and prayed not to run into Daniel, but how could she have thought so? Of course, Daniel was waiting for her at his doorstep by the time she arrived.
"Celia!" Daniel's voice sounded more like someone who was upset than someone who had an issue to be sorry about.
Celia was shocked at the sound of Daniel's voice and stopped abruptly to look at him, but she was soon back to trying to make into her car, hopefully before Daniel arrived to harass her.
Celia fondled with her car keys, and just as she opened the door and was about to enter the car, Daniel barged in front of her and slammed the door shut, peering down on Celia with rage in his eyes.
"Where did you spend the night? You were with a man, right?" Daniel barked.
The audacity!
Celia was possessed with so much anger, she didn't know what to do than stomping on Daniel's foot with her high-heel shoes.
Daniel screamed in pain and limped out of the way while Celia entered her car without remorse.
She sped off as soon as she was comfortably in her car, but she did not forget to give Daniel one last look of disgust. The effrontery.
Meanwhile, Schneider had woken up in his home at the Bagel Residence, and for some reason, he could not stop thinking about the beauty he had been with the previous night.
Schneider did not get to see the lady's face as he was both drunk and high on s****l feelings, but her sweet scent, smooth and alluring skin, as well as the enticing moans that erupted from her when he was having her were distinct enough for him to tell that he was with a goddess the previous night.
Schneider picked up his phone and dialled his assistant quickly. If he was too dazed to find out the girl that he had been with, then his assistant Sean must have been wide awake to see who it was.
Sean picked up his phone at first ring from his boss.
"Ready to leave for the company sir?" Sean said but Schneider's deep silence shut him up.
"Who is the lady from last night?" Schneider asked with a flat tone.
"No idea sir," came Sean's tired reply. He knew he should have at least gotten to look at the lady last night as his boss could wake up and make any request about her, but Sean was too tired to do a thorough job as everything happened so late at night he could only think of his bed at home.
"Find her!" Schneider said abruptly and hung up the phone.
