You Can't Abort My Child

"There's one thing I want from you, and I'm ready to pay for it. How much do you want? Name it?" Doctor Schneider took out his cheque book from his pocket and flashed a pen in front of Celia. "What did you say your name was? Yes, Silvia Jerkins." Doctor Schneider started to pen Celia's fake name down on the cheque. Celia rolled her eyes. What had she gotten herself into? "Actually, I need two things from you, Ms. Silvia. You just have to accept to do it or else I will take it from you by force," Doctor Schneider continued. "What do you want from me?" A drained Cecil asked, genuinely done with the drama that she had gotten into since she met this handsome doctor. Celia had not even had the time to digest the fact that the leader of the Bagel family was also a doctor in her family's hospital. Did he know her family? If Celia revealed her real name to him, will it ring a bell? It was the more reason she had to hide her identity from him. "Well, the first one is already clear; you will be my wife from tomorrow. I imagine that you have already accepted that, right?" Doctor Schneider asked. Celia chuckled in disbelief. The way Doctor Schneider declared that Celia would be his wife was the most humiliating thing ever. She really didn't have a choice, right? "What's the other thing then?" Celia was curious to know. Doctor Schneider looked Celia dead in the eye and said the words. "You are not going to abort my baby!" There was a pin-drop silence in the room following the sudden revelation from Doctor Schneider. Celia swallowed hard. Did she just hear correctly? The man that forced himself on her from that fateful night was the Bagel family leader? "I beg your pardon? Your what?" Celia doubted her hearing ability at that point. "My child, Ms. Silvia. I'm the person from that night. In my car? Then to the hotel. Large Hotel. Do you remember?" Doctor Schneider asked. Did he just ask her if she remembered? Of course, Celia remembered everything. Who would forget such an event? The nerve of him to reveal himself and ask her to marry him? What was he thinking when he left her in the hotel room to wake up in shock? Did he not have a need for a wife as at then? "Please, Mr. Bagel, or whatever you call yourself. I'll like to leave at this point." Celia was so upset, she fought her demons not to attack Doctor Schneider with anything she found in the room. The side lamp was looking so attractive for her to smash on his head. "Yes, you will leave. But that will be after we get married tomorrow. It would be a contract marriage and you won't gave to live with me, but part of the contract will be that you will give birth to my child, and then after five years, the marriage contract can be called off." To say that Celia was beyond dazed was an understatement. "What I should do is call the police on you, Mr. Bagel. How dare you barge into my life and ruin it. I have plans for my life, I never planned to have a child just yet." Celia could not contain her anger anymore and ran towards Doctor Schneider, punching in him with her little fists. Doctor Schneider didn't budge, as he stood firm and watched the little woman lose her mind. He could not even feel the impact of her blows as he watched her, desire clouding his eyes as she let herself vent all over him. Soon enough, and just as Doctor Schneider thought, Celia became tired, and started to cry into his chest. The cold hearted doctor allowed Celia to cry on him as much as she wanted, then he pulled her away and let her fall on the bed. "Tomorrow, 10AM. Sean will be here to pick you up and I will send you a dress to put on. Have a good night and please don't try to run away because it will not be possible." Doctor Schneider walked away as soon as he was done speaking. Celia sobbed loudly. Never in her live did she expect that something like this would happen to her. She touched her belly carefully, rubbing it to feel the life that was growing inside her. Celia had never had a care in the world for the baby growing in her since she discovered that she was pregnant. By the time Doctor Schneider left, Celia took a walk to the balcony and looked outside the window, that was when she understood what Doctor Schneider had said earlier. There was absolutely no need for Celia to try and escape because the Bagel premises was littered with guards whom Celia knew must have received instructions from their Bagel boss not to let her step out. The entire night, Celia could not sleep. She had several calls from her friend, Beret, asking where she was but Celia refrained from speaking up as everything still felt like a dream to her. It was out of her control, and as much as Celia desperately wanted to talk to someone about what was going on, it seemed ridiculous to her to inform anyone that she had been somehow kidnapped and forced to give birth to a child that she was not interested in.
