“Ken, my dad is having a party in a few weeks, I want everyone to come to the party.” She tried her best to divert his attention from Athena.

Everyone was happy because her father's party was always luxurious and nice, in that party many rich people come for regarding business. Maybe they will find someone rich guy to spend their life with. They will have to get ready as sexy as possible to seduce those rich guys.

She told everyone that The ADONIS KING was also going to attend the party because her father requested him.

Lidia was smiling she was going to show everyone how pathetic loser Athena was in this party, she was looking forward to meeting LORD ADONIS KING. The fact that it was a lie that he was coming to the party, no one has to know that. Before the party she will report it to the newspaper that LORD ADONIS KING was attending her party. She was for sure that after reading this news, he will surely come to meet her!

Everyone was shocked including Ken. They all knew who he was. The mighty King of this country who owned most of the property in the entire world. His name was enough to make everyone shivered like a leaf. The most important person in this country. The most powerful of all.

But on the other hand Lidia was busy admiring Ken who had his eyes already laid on Athena. Lidia looked back at Athena who had idea what was going through the whole meeting. A lesson she will never forget in her entire life. She used to made her do all her assignments but in return she used to give her money but with her huge pride she would never accept it, so she had to force her. Athena always return the money she borrows from her, it makes her more irritated.

She always tries to be nice in front of Athena, so she can take advantage of her genius self, she always makes her do all her projects in school because of her she was able to pass every year. She doesn't need someone who was as poor as her. After she uses her, she will dump her and their so-called friendship. She hated Athena so much.

“Alright, where's the bill?” Lidia asked for someone to take the money, she was actually trying to ask for Athena, so she could humiliate her more.

Lidia smiled sweet at Athena, “Here's the bill and keep the rest of them as a tip from me, I bet it's must be really hard while staying hungry trying to save money.” She looked arrogant while talking s**t to Athena.

I am going to show you who exactly you are, Athena. When Lidia was about to give her the money, Ken was faster than her and stopped her, “I am not going to sit here and let a lady pay.”

“But it's my treat.” Lidia tried to protest.

“So what? I am paying. I am a gentleman, after all.” Everyone was impressed by Ken personality accept Athena. She was still waiting for them to pay the bills, so she could get back to work again. She needed to go to another place to work.

He handled her the bill with respect giving her a hundred dollar tip inside. Athena noticed something was wrong with this boy; with saying anything else she just left after saying Thank You. She didn't even pay attention to the poor guy Ken who was in love with ever since he watched her today. Ken was in love for sure to him it is a love at first sight. He has never seen such a beautiful girl. Her fair soft skin, he wanted to touch that. He wanted to kiss those soft rosy lips.

They must be so sweet as honey.

Damn! She has made him completely whipped for her. He didn't like that how much she was ignoring him like he didn't even exist. It had never happened to him before that a girl ignoring him like that. His heart was hurting, but the more she rejects him the more he wanted to be near her.

He wanted her to look at him but it seems like she was not interested in him at all. It was disappointment for him.

After that, everyone left the restaurant but not with taking Athena's number. They wanted to hang out with this pretty sweet angel. She was hesitating at first but after they keep pleading her, so she just gave them her number but not to the guys only the girls in the group.

Ken decided not to give up, he come over again and waited for her to come out when she will be finished with her job.

He was dressed more handsomely now, in his hands there were expensive flower bouquet. To impress her he rode here with his expensive Ferrari F8 tributo. He will tell her about his feelings, how much he loved her. He will make her his girlfriend. But he had no idea what kind of girl Athena was, she was not the type to be impressed when you show off your wealth.

Such a beautiful sweet girl will belong only to him.

By the time her work finished it was already dark now, and she was very tired and exhausted, all she wanted to do was to go the hospital to see how her little brother was doing. After finishing her work everyday she visits her brother. The doctor was very nice them knowing they were orphan. She was really grateful for this.

She didn't even eat anything because she was thinking if her brother has eaten yet or not. She will have to buy something good in her way to the hospital for him.

As she walked out of the restaurant, Ken immediately blocked her way. She was a little scared of the sight of him. What was he doing here? What did he want from her? Earlier when she saw the huge tip he gave her, she was actually quite surprised at first, but then she thought he was a rich person. It must be nothing in front of him.

But she never thought that he would come here to irritate her again dressing up with flower bouquet while flashing his Ferrari.

Was he trying to confess to her? God no! There is no way he was going to trouble her, she was already so tired. She had no time or interest in dealing with such people who liked her because of her beauty.

Her friend Lidia was obviously in love with his man. And this man while knowing this simple fact, he was still here to shamelessly propose to her. This guy really had the nerve to do this in front of her.

“Hi- I wanted to say that... that, I really like you and I have never felt something so strong feeling for anyone. Will you please accept my heart and be my lover?” He offered her the flower.

Athena watched him while narrowing her eyes at his attempt to act genuine without feeling moved by his childish words. She could see right through him. The rich boy didn't like that she was giving him attention. oh, God! Only you can help me escape this insane person.

“I am sorry because I don't feel the same nor do I like you. Leave me alone.” with that she walked past him and left.

“Wait! I really like you, no! I love you! Please consider my feelings once.” He was shouting now, there's no way he was going to let her go just like that, right?

She turned around to see him while answering him, but he handled her the flowers, “You don't even know me. You have no idea who I am, you just like me because of my appearance. I would rather stay single for the rest of my life rather than be with someone like you. Leave me alone.” Athena throws the flowers right in his face.

And then she left...

He was literally speechless. No one has ever rejected him this way, ever! He has never been embarrassed this way. He felt his ego was hurt badly by this girl. He threw the gift he bought for her in anger and left the place immediately feeling depressed.

The whole scenario was being watch by Him.

He was amused to see a girl rejecting that rich brat like he was nothing but a dirt. He was now more interested in that little girl.

Thoughts that will make her stay away from him in fear and never dared to appear in front of him. “No, she doesn't.” He was calm and collected while looking outside while smiling at her angry self when she ruthlessly rejected that little boy while throwing his stupid flowers right in his face.

He was pleased to see this scene, she also knew that she only belonged to him. All the guards were surprised to see their Lady was quite ruthless while rejecting. Only she deserved their King.

“Go back.” He ordered sternly.

“Yes, Lord Adonis.” The driving followed his orders immediately.

Meanwhile, Athena was walking towards the bus station but noticed that it was too late, no bus was available right at this moment. She sighed deeply feeling sad.

Rich people think they can get whatever they want, whenever they want.

It makes her feel more depressed.

Athena knew she was a little rude while rejecting him, but she just told him the truth. And she didn't care if that little boy felt offended by her behaviour, if he come back in front of her again she will insult him again. He only wanted to her date when he didn't even know anything about her at all.

All she wants to do is live a normal life with a normal person who will understand and love her inner self not just her appearance. She noticed that it was too late now. She even missed the last bus because of that stupid man.

She started to walk towards the direction of the hospital, what she didn't know was that someone was watching her every move very closely...

She looked up at the sky. “God! I hate men! I never want to be one of them who falls in love with a person who will only care about beauty.” She stated in anger.

“You are a liar!”

Athena was stunned by the sudden voice behind her, she immediately turned around to see who the person was screaming at the middle of the night.

It was Lidia!

Athena was a little surprised to see her friend here, didn't she left already? She noticed that she didn't look good at all, the face was red from crying. There was an alcohol bottle in her hand almost finished. What happened to her? Why was she looking so sad?

“Lidia, what happened? Why are you still here? Why didn't you go home already?” Athena was scared to see her at this state, she tried to reach her but Lidia stopped her.

“Why are you doing this to me, Athena?” Livia looked heavily drunk.

Huh? What did I do to her? Athena was confused.

“What do you mean?” Athena was confused by her behavior. What happened?

“I saw it! I saw everything! I saw how you betrayed me! I hate you, Athena.” She was suddenly screaming.

“What are you talking about, Lidia?”
