The restaurant has been so busy lately. That means a lot more work to do today than usual. She was already having a hard time while always running around from one place to another for her multiple jobs. But she had no choice to make a little good money she has to work hard for it.

For not sleeping and eating well, she often becomes sick, but she was still very dedicated to her work. Because of this she was always tired and stressed.

Yes, she works all the time because she was saving money for a very good reason. So no matter what happens she will have to go on with her life. She had no idea how she was going to survive this kind of lonely life.

It was really hard to be all alone in this world.

She wished that she also had a family; who she could rely on without feeling grateful. But she was an orphan. So no matter what happens to her, she will have to deal it by herself.

It felt so good to see her friends being loved by their parents, she thought that they really were very lucky to have someone to call family, but they would always complain, when there was no one for her who she could call her family.

Every time she gets in trouble, there is no one to protect her. So she tries her best to make everyone happy and do everything perfect. This world is full of cruel people. If she wanted to survive, she will have to be very careful.

She tried her best to always look happy. Even if she was in pain, she would always smile and make it look like she was the happiest person in this entire world. Because she knows that the people in this world would only pity her, but in the end she will be all alone. This painful fact, she will have to live by herself. No matter how much problem she faces, she will have to deal with them all by herself.

Even if someone hurts her, tries to humiliate her, she would never say anything to them, or complain about their rude behavior.

Sometimes she feels like they take advantage of her good nature only uses her to get whatever they wanted.

And she could never say no to anyone.

When she was 15, her parents died in a car accident, leaving her and her little brother all alone in this world. Oh, yes, she also had a brother who had lung cancer. Battling every time he breaths in this world, he has to suffer so much. At the age of 8, he became so weak and pitiful child. Her heart cries for her brother who wanted to live.

The reason of her working with her life was all because of her brother. For his expensive treatment she always needed a lot of money. Her little brother will die for not having any kind of treatment if she can't keep up with her hard work.

She thought the pain of losing her brother was too much, she cannot even imagine. If anything happens to him she will die.

Without her parents she somehow survived. She always wished that it should be her parents who should be alive not her. If she could change the past she would make sure that she died instead of her parents. She felt so miserable to see that little angel to suffer alone.

She still remembers how much they loved her and her little brother. They were so poor but happy. Even if they didn't have much money, they were always happy together living peacefully with love.

It hurts to know that they were not here anymore. To love her and take care of her and her brother.

Even though her uncle and aunt give her permission to live in their home just because they were forced to, to her self-respect was more important than anything in this life. She didn't want to become a burden. She hated to be one.

It really was hell to live with them when they would just torture her to death. But she was young and miserable; she also had her brother responsibility. No matter what she couldn't be careless. They would always use her brother to get her hardworking money that she used to save to run away from them.

When she was 18, she left their home to live on her own.

It's been years now. And she was living by her little just fine and out of trouble. In her life the troubles she faced to survive, she will never be able to trust anyone again. So she never let anyone know about her sick brother, she was afraid that people will hurt her brother to tear her apart.

Her uncle always calls her to know if she was alright, if she needed money. But she always refuses politely because she knew they will try to use her again, and she can't risk at this time.

She knows his intention too, he was disgusting vile human. He would look at her with those dirty eyes of his. She made sure no matter how badly she needed money for her brothers treatment; she would always try her best to avoid her uncle. His intention towards her was never pure.

She felt sick when she used to stay in his house, she was always couscous when he was around.

This was one of the biggest reasons, why she refused to take any more help. Now by working hard she was trying to her best to survive in this cruel world. She hated to be the one who always has to suffer. Maybe that's why she misses her parents so much. If they were here they would always protect her against these disgusting people.

She knew she was beautiful, but she never knew that it could become a curse to her. She never wants attention from dirty men in this world. They want to be with her because of her beautiful alluring appearance.

But she never dared to accept any one of them.

She hates when people see her body and tries their best to get her attention. Why aren't they interest in her heart? Why no one cares about her emotions?

Maybe it's because they didn't want to do anything with her heart. That's why she hated to be around such people who would openly judge her. That's the reason she was still single and a virgin. She never even had her first kiss. And almost the whole school knew about her pure innocent body.

She has no idea what love means. She never had any contact with men.

“Athena!” Someone called her from behind.

She immediately turned around to see her best friend Lidia. She was pretty as well as very rich. But she had always been kind and generous to her. When Athena needed help she would always help her without questioning, but of course, she had to help her do homework. That's why they were best friend and very close to each other.

Athena was wearing waitress uniform. Even though it was simple but when she wears it, it would look luxury on her sexy skinny figure, it makes everyone drooled for her alluring beautiful appearance.

Her skin was snow-white smooth skin was so beautiful anyone would be jealous of her beauty. Her red soft lips looked so delicious; it felt like a ripe sweet cherry. But unfortunately no one can get a bite of her sweetness because she was forbidden to touch.

Athena walked towards them gracefully and smiling beautifully. She was happy to see her friend.

Lidia's friends were literally speechless to see such top class beauty. They forgot to breath, they were just standing where quietly admiring the beauty that come straight from heaven. They felt so insecure; all they wanted to do was worship this heavenly beautiful girl.

Athena herself had no idea how much her beauty effected these people around her.

They immediately started to whisper about if she was a new star who was currently filming, because there was no way an ordinary girl was as beautiful as her.

The boys kept praising her even the girls couldn't keep their mouth shut. They were so jealous but also started to admire this heavenly beauty.

“Athena? The goddess of wisdom and beauty, huh?”

“Who is she?”

“Damn! She is so sexy, hot yet so innocent. What a great combination!”

“Nothing absolutely no one can compare to such beauty.”

“Does she have a boyfriend?”

“Yeah, look at her skin it's literally glowing! So soft and smooth.”

Lidia heard all of them quietly. But inside she was burning with pure jealousy. What's so special about her? Why would people always notice her so much? Why do they always think she was the most beautiful and innocent? What about her who was so rich? She was beautiful too.

Lidia was sick of hearing this useless conversation again and again. Her whole body was burning with anger and jealousy. How could she dare to snatch her spotlight! She was the one who deserved all their praise and appreciation.

She was now attracting her friends too. She hated when people think Athena was so pure and a heavenly born beauty. She hated the fact that every time Athena was around no one would pay attention to her. And she hated this because she was not an ugly person, she was not poor like her, she was rich and come from a very respectable family.

Athena always likes to smile even though she was facing many difficulties. She never complains about anything. She was always happy even if she had a little. She would always show people that she was living her best life.

But Lidia knew that it was not true; she was living a very hard life living all by herself and working many jobs. She was all alone in this world, but she had great pride in herself.

And Lidia hated her strong personality more than anything. It attracts more people towards her without even trying.

Athena's appearance is fake just like her beauty, she was looking away from Athena thinking about the ways to shame her in front of everyone.

Athena walked in front of them and greet them politely, “Hello, what would you like to have?”

Her voice was so sweet and seductive; everyone forgot how to reply to her simple question. Because from up close she looked more beautiful, an Angel from the sky.

Her smile makes them want to smile with her. It was a comfortable atmosphere.

“Um... Hello, Good morning, How can I help you guys?” She was embarrassed by the way they all kept looking at her without replying to her. Looked like it was going to be a very long day...

“Athena, how are you? Why don't you also join us too? I bet because of lack of money you didn't even have lunch, did you? You look so skinny...” Lidia intentionally bought up her status in from of everyone telling them she was just a beauty with no money or great fortune to flaunt to others.

“I am still working, Lidia. Don't worry, I have enough money to buy my own food.” She said with dignity while smiling more brightly.

She never wants anyone to see her without respect. She knew that she was a poor student, but she would always make sure to live with dignity. She never wants anyone to look down at her because of her financial status.

Everyone was well aware of Lidia being jealous of Athena, but they were actually surprised that she was a very polite young girl. They all smiled at her gentleness.

They ordered their food, and she returned to the chief after they all finished with their question about her.

Their foods have been served by her as she was about to ask them if they needed anything else but someone interrupted her.

“Hello, I am Lidia's friend, Ken Beckwith.” A voice come from right behind her; she was a little startled by his man sudden closeness to her body, she felt offended by this man rudeness and immediately back away from him.

Athena turned around to see a man in his early twenties standing in front of her looking at her with great interest. She didn't like it at all. Infect, she never liked attention from this kind of man, she felt all of them were same. Sick and twisted.

Lidia immediately got up seeing him she wanted to kiss him deeply showing everyone that this man belonged to her but stopped because she didn't like how her dream lover was looking at Cara not her. [Author: Maybe it's because he doesn't love you back?]

Lidia was hugged Ken tightly while kissing his lips deeply showing Athena that he belonged to her only, “I missed you so much. It's been so long since I have seen you.”

The guy named Ken looked at Lidia with strange emotion and got out of her tight hold and pushed her away roughly. “What are you doing, Lidia? What kind of behavior is this?” It looked like she offended the guy very much.

Athena didn't want herself to get involve in their business, so she distant herself from them and turned towards the guests and asked them if they needed anything else. The Ken guy ordered for his food while sitting in the one of the empty chair smiling at her.

Athena refused to return his smile and just left. It made ken to drop his smile and become shocked, this was the first time the girl refused him so harshly. He was not going to accept her refusal, but he was going to try her best to pursue her.

And after then Athena continued to work again, serving other guests taking their orders.

Lidia was not happy because of the way her dream lover was looking at Athena as she continued to smile while serving other people, he looked completely smitten with her beauty like everyone else maybe he was.

There is no way she was going to let that b***h take away her lover, never! She can only dream.

She was going to impress Ken and make him her forever...
