After I sedated my little pet, I left for my other residence. This small little cottage where the witch once lived is one of my favorite places. Her spell book had many spells from ancient times. Spells that I had never heard of, but I made use of them daily. I killed the witch that lived here, though, because she was dangerous for my plans.
When my coven first came about, this small cottage was by pure luck. She was out and about collecting herbs and supplies when I caught her scent. By the time she sensed me and the coven, it was too late. I took her life quickly and savored every single drop of her blood.
We were just about to leave when I noticed what looked like a passageway through the air. "Katasha, look. It looks like some kind of forcefield of some sort. Come, let's go check it out. We might find more prey to eat." She just smiled and moved forward.
She placed her hand through the passageway and disappeared. She popped her head out and smiled excitedly at me. "I smell a child. She is close by. Come Master." I walked through and instantly was engulfed with a scent so strong that I had to hold my breath for a second. The closer I got, the sweeter the scent was.
When I stormed through the house, there sat my little pet shaking in fear. She looked to be about twelve years old. I looked her in the eyes and watched with fascination as her eyes began to droop and become hazy. She took my enchantment well, but it only lasted a few minutes before she snapped out of it and tried to run.
When I sank my teeth into her neck, I felt euphoria, and my mouth salvated, wanting more. I drank deeply until she passed out. I shook my head because her blood was so delicious that I had felt like I was in a trance.
This girl was not human. No human's blood could put a vampire under a trance just by drinking her blood. She was something old and powerful. Maybe even ancient. She was mine. I felt a sudden possessiveness over her and knew that I would never let her leave. Her power would be mine and mine alone.
I made the decision right then and there that she would be my pet for the rest of her life. She was mine forever. I needed to find out what she was because my pet was something special. I just needed to find out how to break the dâmned spell that hid her identity.

I paced back and forth in front of the house I had built, waiting for the Lycan King to come. He had a few minutes before he was to appear. He was known to be prompt. He was a ruthless creature. Lycan's were by far one of the most powerful creatures around apart from the dragons.
What made him even more powerful was the fact that he was from royal blood. He was the last of his bloodline. His wife wasn't even a full lycan. She was turned when she became his mate. She was a witch, but that is all that's known of her. Her history is not known, which makes me very curious as to why it is kept hidden.
"Master, I can sense their approach. They should be here within the next minute." I nodded my head and stood silently as I waited for Zion to emerge from the trees.
I heard footsteps and could smell the scent of dog. Zion was here. I wanted to gag, but I schooled my features and made sure my look of disgust was hidden. I needed to appear as an equal in order for my plan to work.
"Zion. Pleasure is mine." I said coldly as I stretched out my hand, waiting for him to grab it. "Dante, I presume?" He growled as he shook my hand. I nodded my head and turned to walk inside the house.
A while later, as we sat around the table, I noticed out of the corner of my eye how his wife was acting. She was sweating profusely and kept darting her eyes back and forth like she was looking for something... or maybe someone?
Hmmm... that was interesting.
"So, Zion, I have a plan that I am hoping you will agree with me, will he very beneficial for both our kinds." I started cautiously, just to see how he would react. He raised his eyebrows curiously. "Beneficial for both Lycan and Vampire? Are there such things? I mean seriously, Dante, no offense, but my kind is far superior to yours." He chuckled darkly.
I clenched my fists under the table and willed myself to calm down.
"Be as that may, I still would like both of our species to thrive. I have heard rumors that King Asmodeus and his Queen had a son. He is around eighteen. The last I heard from my sources and still waiting for his demon to surface, because he hasn't found his true mate. He is some sort of hybrid unlike the world has ever known. He is rumored to be "The Chosen One." The one to rule over all realms. Have you heard of this rumor?" I gritted out, but toward the end, I felt a smug satisfaction as I watched the Lycan King's eyes widen with disbelief.
"That's preposterous! One ruler of all realms? That's blasphemy. A demon scum ruling over all realms... ridiculous." He scoffed.
"Be as that may, I want to invite him here for a dinner party with you and I present. If we can overtake him and capture him, then we can control his demon once it finally surfaces. We can rule the world Zion. So tell me, are you in, or are you out?" I said, grinning evilly as I crossed my hands and set them on the table waiting for his response.
