Ani nung isang boses. Elias, or whoever the f*ck this person is, chuckled and slowly retreated his lighter away from my skin. “I think I’d enjoy watching her than burning that whole place. Guess I’ll have to do that some other day nalang.” The guy who grabbed my hair said and laughed out loud. He crouched down a bit, levelling his face to mine. “Oh, I’m scared. I’d like to see you try, langit.” He said with a smirk. There’s challenge in his eyes. “Calm down.” I scoffed and turned to another direction, shaking my head. “T*rant*do pala kayo eh.” “Sino ba talaga kayo? At bakit ako ang pinagt-tripan niyo?” “Trip? Oh, lady, please!” “This…isn’t any joke!” “I gave you a chance, but you turned it down.” F*ck it. He looks like someone who’s gone f*cking mad! His eyes are widened, and there’s this creepy smile plastered on his face. He somehow reminds me of Joker. “We just wanted to know who you are.” Biglang malambing na saad niya. “You wanna know who I am?” “I am Flint. Briella. Haven. And this ‘lady’ is not in the f*cking mood to play your games. A*sh*le.” I headbutted him, hard. My vision became blurry for a quick second but I shook my head and focused on his hand. I kicked it upwards and as expected, tumilapon pataas ang lighter. I stood up from the chair caught it with my mouth. “What the f*ck?!” I smirked, bringing my hand to my mouth to get the lighter. “Surprise, I’m flexible b*tches.” I said and kicked the first guy to approach me. He killed his father and fooled me! I’d rather die right now! The whole became a mess. I opened my mouth to gasp for some air but he covered it while his other arm wrapped my neck. My eyes almost rolled to the back of my head as I try to fight him off but his whole weight is on top of me. “Flint, please just stop fighting. ‘Wag mo na pahirapan ang sarili mo. Just, please cooperate. For your mom.” That was like a fuel pumped inside my nerves. Like something clicked inside of me and all the exhaustion and pain was gone and was replaced by a new energy. “Not…my…mother!” I shouted and tried to roll us over. I took that opportunity to turn my body and face him. I pushed myself upwards and punched him. He was about to get up but I grabbed the gun that was on his waistband and pointed it to his forehead. He stilled, staring at my eyes. There was a playful glint that flashed to his eyes, as if he’s enjoying our situation. “Move and I’ll bore a f*cking bullet in that sh*tty head.” I threatened. “And I will not hesitate.” He laughed. Not a taunting one, but a genuine laugh. He found his amusement with my threats and the gun pointing at him. He couldn’t do anything as I have him trapped between my legs. He’s laid flat on his back while both of my knees are on his sides. “Your head’s a little too pretty a hole won’t look good on it.” I felt something pressed at the back of my head as someone spoke. I breathed heavily, not moving. The gun I’m holding still pressed on his forehead while my fingers are placed on the trigger. “Put the gun down, and slowly get on your feet.” A few minutes had passed and I still haven’t moved a muscle. Aiming this gun at someone while having a gun pointed behind my head makes me remember things I buried years ago. “Move, amor.” The man ordered and pushed his gun towards my head more. I clenched my hand that was holding a gun before breathing out harshly. The gun still pressed firmly behind my head as I felt the man took a step forward and whispered, “Good girl.” I immediately turned around and grabbed his gun, pointing it upwards just in case his finger is on the trigger. I hit his wrist with my fist and snatched the gun away from his hand. We stared at each other, glaring, our guns pointing at the same spot. On the center of our forehead. “Rule number 1, always have a back up.” He said sternly. I couldn’t see his face properly ‘cause it was a bit dark at where he’s standing, but when he tilted his head, my brows furrowed. “Hello, Flint.” “You…look familiar.” I whispered, staring hard at his face. He took a step forward and crouched down a bit, but I still had to look up as he’s much, much taller than me. Even taller than Edrix. “Aww, that was just what, 7 years? And you forgot about me already?” He asked and shook his head. He looked like he was disappointed that I couldn’t remember him, but he laughed for a bit. “I thought you’re my knight in shining armor?” “L-Lyandyle?”
