Chapter 5Greg heated up the prepared veal marsala and pasta they bought at Wegmans, opened a bottle of white wine, and set the table with the new utensils, stoneware and glasses he washed by hand. Since he didn’t have to go to work the next week, Greg asked for and received permission to call Jim and Brian to see if they could help him shop for linens and furniture after the truck arrived was unloaded on Monday.
Greg was surprised that Cisco kept him company while he cleaned up. Afterward they went into the great room and sat on the ratty leather couch. “Where did you get the couch, Sir?” Greg asked.
